After hours I've finished it!!!!
Anyway I'd explain why I redesigned them the way I did but tbh I don't actually know why I made them like this
Alright I have a working concept, but I'm NOT in the mood for anatomy so no full body.
I'm working primarily from Aztec mythology for our lovely pyromaniac, specifically Huitzilopochtli --- God of sacrifice, war, and the sun. He would transform into hummingbirds or hawks, so I'm thinking that's how Bellroc is going to spy on the group / Influence the war of Killahead since Bellroc takes a less primary role bc Skræl is the main antagonist.
They have two sets of arms, and a mastery of nearly all basic weapon types. They have a tail too bc a lot of art of Huitzilopochtli has a tail and I thought it'd be neat to add 😋
Another concept I'm thinking about is having their cloak of hawk and hummingbird feathers turn into a pair of wings, but I'm not sure if they'll keep their second pair of arms if that design moves forward as a primary.
Did their staff based off the Quetzalcoatl, but that's definitely prone to change.
Bellroc is able to master nearly any fighting style and technique, along with having quick thinking skills. They have particularly good control of their muscles, which makes their balance immaculate.
I might add some Hindu and Native American elements to their design in the future but for tonight I like what I have. Which, is not a lot, but it's better than nothing at all 👍

Alright alright!, here we go!
(Long, long text post after the cut)
First things first, lore time!!
All of this may change overtime as I make adjustments and figure out finer plot details, so don't take everything for being set in stone.
Anyways, my story for the Arcane Order is WAY different than the canon version we were given.
Beginnings
Starting with the main cast, Skrael, Bellroc, and Nari are given a bit of a different dynamic than shown in the show. Instead of just being a vague group of primordial wizards, they were born from the earth itself. Evolution plays out as it does in the modern science books, with the different eras and ice ages. The earliest plant life began about 460 million years ago, that is when Nari first appeared. Nari created new forms of life over a very long stretch of time, including the earliest forms of dinosaurs, and watching those dinosaurs evolve on their own. When they are wiped out by an asteroid, however...
That is when the second Arcane Order member would appear, around the end of the Cretaceous period about 66 million years ago. The recovery period afterwards is when Bellroc comes into the picture for the Arcane Order. They appear while the smaller mammals and rodents are running around and scavenging, trying to survive. (This is where they get their skull headpiece---It's a runt giganotosaurus skull! ((might change to be a juvenile allosaurus skull as well, or a Utah raptor))). From here on Bellroc is just kind of... there. They live throughout history until we get to about... 2 billion years ago.
2 billion years ago is when the first Ice Age began! Which means, you guessed it, Skræl appears! Before this time, however, Bellroc and Nari had grown into a siblings-like bond, with Nari guiding and helping Bellroc around the powers they now wielded.
They hadn't really been meddling in creation very much up to the point that Skræl appears, but afterwards, they start steering the course of the Earth, which includes the beginning of the human race. This is a post for another day, so let's just skip to the part that focuses the most on Skræl!
Skræl's lore / his role in humanity
From here, the timeline can get a bit muddy, since the Inuit and Norse and Norwegien groups of humans I have inspired his looks and lore from appear at about the 13th century, meanwhile toa Wizards dates the Killahead War at the late 12th century. I ask you ignore this hiccup in my storyline, please and thank you!
Anyway, Skræl had taken a liking to the humans who were choosing to live in his harsh arctic environment, specifically the several different Eskimo peoples, which include but are not limited to the eight Inuit groups (credit to this site for the information): The Labradormiut (Labrador), Nunavimmiut (Ungava), Baffin Island, Iglulingmuit (Iglulik), Kivallirmiut (Caribou), Netsilingmiut (Netsilik), Inuinnait (Copper) and Inuvialuit or Western Arctic Inuit (who replaced the Mackenzie Inuit).
Starting with his name, Skræl took his name off of the term that the Old Norse and Icelandic people had for the Inuit tribes, skrælingi or plural skrælingjar. From before this point, Skræl had just been referred to as North Wind by the other members of the Arcane Order and by any mortal/magical creature who knew of him. He chose to be referred to as a male a long time ago as well, simply to ensure that there wasn't much confusion amongst the humans whom he was spending more and more time watching and messing with.
Skræl had been meddling with humans for a very long time, since the first Ice age, and all of the time afterwards that there were ever any humans in his Arctic environment. He had taught the humans many different skills, and was sometimes worshipped alongside other deities by the Old Norse.
He often met with at least one or two elders of an Inuit group every few generations simply to talk and see them off into the next life. (Energy and souls can be reincarnated in my version of Trollhunters, which will leave interesting story options open for future use).
Because of Skræl's open enjoyment of the human race, you can see how I'm setting up the Killahead battle and the way he will react to being asked to meddle with such an important and fragile battle for balance. But that's for later.
Skræl's design inspiration
There are several different observable things to talk about in his design, so lets start with his head dress: the walrus skull.
The reason I decided upon a walrus skull rather than one of a caribou or mammoth or any other great beast is because of the Inuit legend of Sedna, the sea goddess. In the legend, Sedna has her fingers cut off, which then become all of the sea creatures of the oceans, which include things like whales, seals, and walruses. Before this legend came around, though, Skræl had been wearing a scimitar cat skull instead. He switched to a walrus to be more connected to the Inuit.
The second part of his design is his "cloak", which is really just a standard Inuit fur coat that has been cut down the middle like a jacket, and thrown over his shoulders like a cloak. He doesn't wear it like the mortals would because he, as a god, doesn't need to worry about freezing to death. I also just wanted an excuse to show off his tattoos, which may or may not be added. (I still have to find some good and credible resources and references to the meanings behind chest and arm tattoos for the Inuit, so only his face has any right now in the final art I've done for him. the only reason he's kept the two lines across the face is because they **allegedly** mean that he has killed a rather large or memorable whale).
The third part is his pants, which are the common pants of a Norwegian / Viking trousers. They are tied at the waist with rope and wooden/bone beads, because Skræl is just extra like that. The shoes/'shin guards' are also typical boots for Viking age Norwegians *according to my sources*, but I cut them off at the ankle so that he can be bare foot in the snow like the little maniac he is.
Speaking of little, I made him so much larger than he is in the cannon. Skræl stands at about 5'6" when standing up straight, and he's bigger physically, but still extremely lean. He has more of the native features of an Inuit (referenced from old photos off Google).
In a previous ask I sent to @ssiggss, I said that he has braids beneath the hood and skull, but now I'm not sure if I want him to be bald or not. Probably not, just to go the easy route, since I can barely draw loose hair as it is.
He has those little itsy bitsy horns on his head still, too. No lore reason, I just liked them in his canon design.
Skræl (and Bellroc's role) in the battle of Killahead, and a tease at the rest of the story!
Nari is the one who calls the Arcane Order together to discuss the issue of the balance within her domain, and urges them for help. Bellroc and Skræl are don't really agree with the idea of meddling in such a big event, considering they didn't help any of the other previous civilizations during things like the Ice Ages, Aztec empires, or natural disasters like Pompei.
They decline her request, and leave the Wild Wood.
Immediately, Nari is pissed off and tells them to help, but they still decline. Nari gives Morgana her power to be the Mother of Monsters, and meddles in the battle herself.
And then Skræ; and Bellroc disappear...
...until the time of Merlin's death.

If Nari was ever in a pokemon phase.
Boop. Douxie apartment layout
Douxie would have to clutch his damn wallet.
Being a pokemon fan is expensive, and Douxie knows that. He was one back in the day..3 years ago. So luckily Douxie has a 2ds and 3ds and maybe some kinda game boy to give her.
Nari would always pick the grass type starter. And definitely have a plush of every grass type starter and a fair lot of Pikachu plush too. Nari relates to Grookey on a personal level.
She would get cute fire and ice type pokemon and name them after Bellroc and Skrael. Speaking of which, if Nari tugs on Bellroc's arm and says "Watch this evolve!" They will, they don't have any idea what there watching but they'll watch it. Skrael on the other hand would pretend like he's not interested in Nari's pokemon gaming, but look intently every time he walks past her, and definitely gets a bit emotional when she says she named a pokemon after him. Nari would buy (use Douxie's money to buy) Bellroc and Skrael fire and ice pokemon plushies and cards.
Every morning, Nari would get up first. And all anyone would hear in the living room at 6am would be "~I wanna be the very best, like no one ever waaas~" coming from the tv. She would binge the entire pokemon anime from kanto to galar. And despite being disappointed when ash was replaced, she did perk up when she heard about a little grass cat being the main characters starter.
They already had a switch. So all Douxie's had to do was buy the games. Nari made- I mean, nicely convinced Douxie to get pokemon go on his phone, and suddenly her screen time with Douxie's phone tripled.
And finally, she made Douxie buy a Jesse and James outfit for her and Skrael, and dress Archie up as meowth.
The Shower Temperature (Short story)
Here's my au layout so it's easier to imagine.
-Insert the sound of the shower being turned on, followed by Douxie's screams of pain-
The order arr all sat on the sofa, and they all hear the screams. Nari turns her head as the speed of light, with a worried look on her face. Bellroc also looked over, but they're facial expression didn't change. Skrael didn't look to where the sound had come from, instead he chuckled to himself.
Douxie then came out of the bathroom, with a towel around his waist, visible burn marks all over his body, he yelled over to the order "Can someone please explain to me why the water from the shower was as hot as the freaking sun?!". Nari didn't answer, but she ran over to Douxie to inspect his wounds.
Skrael was surprisingly the first to speak up, he said "Well, we all know that only one person here can withstand that temperature~", as he stared up to Bellroc. Nari also looked back once Skrael said this, clearly also thinking that Bellroc was the one who left the temperature that high.
Bellroc still remained unfazed, and calmly responded with "I suppose that everyone is going to ignore the fact, that Skrael has been going in only to come out seconds later with a grin on his face, only after someone announces that they are going in there." And then they added "Also I turn the temperature down after every time I use it." Then they looked down at Skrael.
Then Douxie and Nari followed Bellroc's gaze, as they all looked at Skrael. Skrael looked back at them and replied with "What? I didn't do anything". Everyone kept staring. "Seriously, I didn't!". Everyone continued to stare at him. "FINE! I did it! I just everyone thing that Bellroc made a mistake for once." Then he turned to Bellroc and said "I swear, I will wait patiently for the day in which you make a mistake, you will one day I'm sure of it! And I'll never forget it!" Then he walked out of the room. Nari walked over to Bellroc and asked "How many mistakes have you have again?" Bellroc replied with "Exactly 356,107 times." And then Nari asked "And how many have you made him forget through hitting him in the head?" And Bellroc answered with "I can not be bothered repeating that entire number again."
How I found my favourite anime. (Servamp)
No I do not watch every anime under the sun, I've only watched about 4-6.
Now that's out of the way. Servamp, how did I find out abt it? Youtube, I found a clip of Servamp of a Youtube short. WAIT, No i do not find anime by shorts, okay? It was a very special clip. Not a fight or funny line or anything. It was, a guy in a blue cat hoodie turning into a black cat.
And you see, i like cats. Also i liked things where something is meant to be scary but have that scary factor ruined for them within a quick second. (Thats why I like the Arcane Order from Trollhunters)
AHEM, now how i found it is outta the way, lemme talk a lil abt the show (No spoilers if you wanna watch the show after reading this.)
Aight, so putting it simply, a school boy find a stray black cat and takes it home, putting a bell onto the cat. Surprise the cat is a vampire but is lazy as hell, so the boy doesn't die. Later the villian shows up outta no where are is the cat's younger/youngest brother. And what made me really like this villian character is well, you remember how i said that i like when someone who is meant to scary has that ruined for them?
WELL, the villian is a fox. A FOX, you know, the little thing with the fluffy tail and ears and lil paws and laughs in a "hehehehehe" way. THATS THE FREAKING VILLIAN OF THE WHOLE SERIES. Ahem, so as you can imagine the villian lost all abilitly of being scary in my eyes.
So that's Servamp, theres only 12 episodes, but there is 20 books and a lot of CDs including storys and songs. Which again ruin all fear the villian ever had.
If you wanna watch it i do highly reccomend it, if you are into comedy animes or just good story line. Warning the intro isn't the best in the world and i do suggest you turn down your volume a bit.
Annnd thats how I found my Favourite anime and watched my first anime series. I guess i forgot to mention that part. Oh well. Also i may talk about Servamp more in the future if this post is liked by you guys.
How Trollhunters made me terrifed of Highschool. (A Life story)
Ahem hello world, no I am not dead. Now thats out of the way:
Here is how Trollhunters planted a fear in my head before I went to highschool. For those who don't know i'm currently 16. Which means I am now in my final year of Highschool, But it also means i've had this fear for around 6 years and now it's comeing true.
What is this fear you ask? How does it link to trollhunters? I'll tell you.
Do any of you remember that one episode where Jim has to turn small to catch a gnome? And in the process, miss a day of school and miss being there to a spanish exam? Well I remember it well.
And no, my fear isn't missing a school test. But it is to do with learning a forgien language. Back when i watched trollhunters for the first time, I was learning Spanish in my Primary school. And i hated it. I just couldn't memerise anything that was said but hey i was 9 or 10 soooo. Moving back to the episode.
Jim's exam was a speaking exam. A freaking speaking exam. My little mind couldn't handle the fear of having to 1) Speak infront of anyone at school. And 2) Speak in a language that isn't English.
So the fear of one day having to do it stuck in my mind all that time. And it made me scared that once i'm in a highschool i would have to do that exam.
Time passes. And i was put into a class to learn German. Do i like German? No. Did i get a choice? Hahahaha no. No i DID not. Anyway so that fear climbed it's way back to the front of my mind. And stayed there.
And ALSO i only stayed in that class because i "Knew how to do the work that one else did" WELL TEACHER, MABYE THAT'S BECAUSE THE ANSWERS WERE ON THE BACK OF THE BOOKLET AND NO BODY ELSE BOTHERED TO NOTICE!. Ahem. So now i'm stuck not only doing German, but the harder course. I barley understood the normal course.
And you guessed it, I have to do a speaking exam before i leave the school. And it's the thing i've been dreading since i was young.
So yea, thats my story. If i'm still hear by the time i finish school i'll tell the story of how it went. BUT until then. I will just be thinking of how everytime i rewatched that one trollhunters episode i got shivers before i even got into highschool, all because of the speaking exam.

My Second Year Of Tumblr

It has now been two years since I found Tumblr and made my first account. Sooo here's a quick story on how I found Tumblr.
In short the reason is Skrael. Yes the small blue ice power demigod. Here's how it happend. It was a few months before Trollhunters: Rise of the titans came out, and me not being satisfied with the lack of Arcane order youtube had. I went on google and typed "Skrael of the north wind" into the search bar. Fast forward to a few days later, I searched Skrael on google again and there was this one picture, fan drawn and i wanted to hunt down who made it cos it looked really cool and what would you know someone on Tumblr made the picture sooo. Here I am.
Also I was totally fine with not being logged in to tumblr cos I didn't see the point in it, yes I had some ideas for fanfiction but no one really needed to hear them. UNTIL TROLLHUNTERS: RISE OF THE TITANS CAME OUT! I swear I was not having that film be how a remember the fandom. So I made an account. So on the 25 of august I made my account and posted my first post.
Inshort I made my account to create a better world for the chatacters who were wronged in the film. Mainly the Arcane Order.
Outro: So thankyou people for being here and Thank Skrael for being a good enough character that I would resort tot googling them.
As some of you will know, next month on the 21st it will again be a time to try to forget the trollhunters film i mean remember all the good memories the main series gave us. That being said i'm going to share 3 different Trollhunters AMV videos that i watched before and after the movie came out. Credits to the youtuber for these amazing edits.

Arcane Order Living With Douxie Layout:
I am putting this here as i'm starting write Arcane Order fanfics again sooooo i thought it would be best to tell all you guys how the apartment I base my stories in looks and stuff. Right here we go.
Starting with the view when you walk in the front door: When you look forward we'll see the window leading to the balcony on the other side of the room. The window also acts as a sliding door to access the balcony. All the of the apartment is also carpeted by the way. Other than that, turn to your right once entering the door and walk about 10 feet and you'll find the bathroom door.
Now go back to the main door and walk 15-20 feet and theres a door to your left. This door leads to the demigod's room. Inside against the right wall is 2 sets of bunkbeds. The far one is Nari and Skrael's, Nari is on the lower bed whilst Skrael is on the top (and yes he fought for that spot). Bellroc just stays on the other lower bed leaving the top bed unused. Wall paper is grey fading into black the higher it goes. Carpet is a dark grey. There is a window in the middle of the two bunkbeds showing the street outside and another window near the far bunkbed. Back to the door and walk 20 feet and then turn left and there is a closet built into the wall, mainly filled with ice weapons and random god things. Also there is a desk 2 feet away from the window next to the far bunkbed.
Right back to the main room. From the main door keep going forward and then your met with the main living space. TV on the left side and sofa on the right, with a red,blue and green rug connecting the two. Behind the sofa there is a small kitchen section that goes long and stops 5 feet before Douxie's room.
Douxie's room is left from when you walk through the main door and further than the bathroom. In Douxie's room there is a black carpet and dark mixed with light blue walls. In the middle of the room there is a double bed with night stands on either side. There is also windows on both sides of the bed. There is a Archie sized cat bed on the right side of the bed. All clothes are put in a closet to the left side of the room. Exit the room and walk 4 feet turn left and you are again met with the bathroom door. Turn right after that and boom you are back at the door you came in by.
Yeah I know i missed minor details buuuut this was a simple layout of the apartment i made for Douxie and the Order a while ago. Right now you know the overall placement of everything any and all fanfics from the point should make sence.

Right now i have your attention, first off
This gods damn video was meant to come out LAST YEAR and I remember that is was first pushed back to summber 2022 so i was checking on it everyday making sure i wasn't just imagining this. So it didn't even get to summer and it was put back A WHOLE YEAR but now i swear when it gets to summer it better come out and i don't care how bad it might be. Truth is i just want some new trollhunter things. Also Netflix it really only interested in putting all their money into Boss Baby. Oh well hope to talk about this again at summer
