My favourite Batman movie is The Lego Batman movie and you might think that it’s childish BUT

My second favourite is The Batman because that is Batman. The scene in the crime scene is spot on! And Selina?! The cat woman suit, the backstory, the casting. And the Riddler? The only criticism I can come up with is that I like the classic green three piece suit with question marks. Only reason it’s not my favourite is that that is not Bruce Wayne. It’s too much wet cat and not enough Brucie Wayne.

Christian Bales Batman on the other hand is too much Bruce Wayne and not enough Batman.

BUT LEGO BATMAN? He is a party animal who flirts his way through life and at the same time a lonely guy who needs to let people in. It’s a comedy and a Lego movie which means we wouldn’t get a creepy Batman who lurks in the shadows and disappears when you look away.

A perfect Batman movie would have a Brucie Wayne who trows a party every week, funds half the city and who you would believe every scandal story about. A Batman who cares about his villains, who is great with kids, who is a detective and not a superhero, who lurks in the shadows and appears and disappears in the blink of an eye. And a Bruce Wayne who sleeps a maximum of three hours a night, is incredibly lonely, adopts any and all kids who he sees himself in and who loves his butler over everything(except his kids).

Favorite Movies

1. The Godfather (1972, dir. Francis Ford Coppola); 2. Batman Begins (2005, dir. Christopher Nolan); 3. The Dark Knight (2008, dir. Christopher Nolan); 4. Die Hard (1998, dir. John McTiernan).

There's a reason these four are grouped together! There was a time when my spouse struggled with falling asleep; and so we employed the above films as a soothing soundtrack, against which they could peacefully nod off.

(At least, as soothing as one might expect from a chorus of Chicago typewriters, eagerly punctuating Sonny Corleone; or John McClane, yelling intensely as he improvisationally repels down the side of Nakatomi Plaza.)

5. Grosse Pointe Blank (1997, dir. George Armitage).

An unusual blend of dark comedy, romance, and the occasional action set-piece; all set to a Gen X soundtrack. The premise sounds like high-concept word salad ("An ailing assassin in the midst of a midlife crisis rekindles an old relationship and battles fellow death-dealing competitors while attending his high school reunion"); and yet it somehow just works in the hands of the superbly capable cast.

(As a personal aside: there is a scene in which the protagonist finds himself staring into the wide eyes of a newborn infant, as Queen and David Bowie's Under Pressure swells in the background. I found this moment particularly touching; not least of which because it spurred me to the realization that I wanted to become a parent.)

6. John Wick (2014, dir. Chad Stahelski).

A fantastic example of a modestly-budgeted action film succeeding wildly on the strength of its compelling premise, intriguing world-building, and marriage of breathtaking choreography and stylish cinematography.

(Honorable mentions: Drive (1997); Dredd (2012); and The Raid: Redemption (2011) and it's follow-up, The Raid 2: Berandal (2014).)

7. Transformers: The Movie (1986, dir. Nelson Shin).

My god; there is so much I can (and will!) say about this movie.

For starters: it is not, conventionally-speaking, good.

Toy manufacturer Hasbro demanded that the dramatis personae of the first two seasons of the Transformers cartoon be written off; to make room for a new cast (and by extension, new toys). The producers gleefully complied by slaying beloved characters in an orgy of robot-on-robot violence that traumatized a generation of movie-going children.

(I should know; I was one of them!)

The narrative is nonsensical; and bounces frantically from one hair metal-accompanied set piece to the next without pause - until our protagonist (who has grown in literal height, if not as a person) unleashes the power of a previously undocumented McGuffin to save the day.

(In this respect, I harbor the belief that the producers cribbed significantly from 1981's Heavy Metal; which, respectfully, should probably not be the first choice of inspiration for a children's movie.)

Despite these deficiencies, however: it is a very, very watchable film!

The characters are likeable; the dialog, eminently quotable; and the voice cast perform their utmost.* The animation is spectacularly frenetic; and the soundtrack is surprisingly catchy (featuring the work of Stan Bush and Vince DiCola - notable for their contributions to Bloodsport and Rocky IV, respectively; and even "Weird Al" Yankovic)!

More than anything: this is a movie that trades in Rule Of Cool™ with childlike glee:

"What if we had a fully-operational battlestation; but instead of blowing planets up with a laser, it ate them?"

"...The two of them are out of ammo, and there's hundreds of enemies. So they hold a destruction derby - only it's underwater, right?"

"So the barbarian trash robots turn into motorcycles, and take turns riding each other, and they chase the good guys and then the good guy leader is exploded but it's okay, because the other good guys use the power of nonsense words to convince the trash robots to make him better; and then they have a dance-off..."

You won't learn anything from watching Transformers: The Movie; but it's fun, and strange, and surprisingly creative (while still operating within the unexplained requirement that everything and everyone turn into a robot, sooner or later)!

* There is a persistent rumor that Orson Welles was displeased to have starred in what was effectively a glorified toy commercial; exacerbated by both his self-professed lack of understanding of the movie's premise and plot, and his passing just five days after completing recording. This was not the case, however; as his grandchildren were fans, and he was enthused to have contributed to a franchise they loved.

You and him are very different from each other, Jonathan is calm and collective while you are basically all over the place but he understands that

I mean Jonathan is a psychologist (if I am correct😅 and if its Gotham scarecrow then he's not a psychologist)

He knows you can have great trouble of remembering certain things that don't peak your interest but if you are interested in his work, and he appreciate your detections to remember his work, he honestly doesn't mind repeating himself to you

You are not the best at keep schedule but you know Jonathan always helps to keep schedule and to always take the medication that you need for your ADHD

Jonathan always simplify what he is saying to you, as at times you don't know what's he talking about when he talks with such complicated words

But despite you being the most hyped up and bubbly person around, you tend to stay quiet and try to not make to much noises when in public

But Jonathan always reassures you by holding you hand as you walk around in public

Talking to strangers can be a hard thing for you to do, so Jonathan does the talking for you.

You also have a very hard time choosing what you want to have or what you want to do, but Jonathan always there to help what you want or what you rather do for the day.

Jonathan loves to listen to you talk about your interest, even if your interest is Disney or video games, or horror movies, he just loves seeing your face light up whenever you talk about your favourite things

If your like me, you can have moments where you felt like you hit rock bottom and just that dark cloud goes around your head, he is always making time to be with you and to make sure your alright, and he even would watch your favourite movies with you

But always the next day your back to your normal bubbly happy hype self again

When your too hype and you begin to just stutter at every word (cause your brain couldn't keep up) he finds it so cute and adorable, but you do get angry when you can get the words out of your mouth.

But Jonathan is always there to help out by either say the word you were about to say or always tell you to take a deep breath, calm down and then say what you wanted to say

You are basically the only person to make Jonathan laugh and smile, like he cannot keep a straight face when you begin a pillow fight at 8:30 in the morning

You can be a hassle at times to handle but Jonathan always still loves you for how you are and wouldn't have it any other way

You just bring colour in his life, and he wants to protect you at all cost

A reason why I absolutely love the Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane well there is the obvious one, he's my f/o.

But also he was basically the first ever villain that ever scared me, I mean yeah you have your Joker, and two-face, possibly professor pig, maybe Victor zsasz (however his name is spelled I forgot😅) and probably some of the most crazed villains of batman that I hadn't listed, but they never had scared me as much as Scarecrow, I mean he literally doesn't need to physically hurt you, all he had to do is just gas/inject you with his Fear Toxin and he literally brings out your worse fears, and what'd worse is that you could possibly died from just in fear alone. But that's to me made me afraid of him as a villain but also at the end of it appreciate him.

Cause I mean he was basically the first batman villain that scared me🫡

I have made so many memes by now I think I am losing count of how many I have😅😅

Been busy trying to find some Pokemon that Jonathan Crane would have if he plays on Pokemon, I think I found some good ones

You can also put your own opinion if you think he would have other Pokemons, I always find it quite hard at times to pick out a Pokemon but yeah these are what I think he would have

Something my dear friend @ghoulsister1 made for me of the two Jonathan Crane with a squishmallows as I absolutely love Jonathan Crane, from the nolanverse and from Arkham Knight.

I be honest my brother used to frightened the shit out of me with arkham asylum whenever you have to do a mission with Scarecrow in it and then I do remember when I was young and immediately watching batman begins when Jonathan Crane said "would you like to see my mask" I absolutely got so Scared 😅😅.

But then I forgot about it (cause i was a smale goth child at the time😁) and then I seen Arkham knight and seen scarecrow and I was like..

And so I absolutely love arkham knight scarecrow, and helped @ghoulsister1 at the arkham asylum with the exact mission i was afraid of😆😆 but over came them and found he was so cool in Arkham Asylum, (was saddend when croc attacked him badly my baby🥺) then a couple of years went by and then I decided to watch batman begins, and then I absolutely fell in love with Cillian murphy as Jonathan Crane! 😁😁

Did Nolan seriously put him in the movies, expecting me to be on Batman's side and thinking that I will not feel butterflies in my stomach everytime he shows up????

I think if Jonathan Crane ever had animal crossing new horizon he would literally made his entire island all spooky and very much like as if its Halloween town from nightmare before Christmas, and he detected hours upon hours of work to get the villagers that fit the vibe and so much building like I can literally imagine it.

A/N: A short fluffy story of looking after a sick Jonathan Crane, so I hope you enjoy this story,

It was 8 in the morning as you and Jonathan wad getting ready for work, you began getting dressed as you hear Jonathan coughing very badly.

You look over and you notice that your boyfriend looked very tired and pale, he looked as if he would pass out at any moment "Jonathan are you feeling okay?" I walked over to him and place my hand over his forehead, he closed his eyes softly as he felt very warm.

"Jonathan you are very warm, I think you have a fever" Jonathan took a step back as he straighten himself out "I don't have a fever, I'm just tired that's all, nothing to worry about my darling" it is very hard to convince Jonathan to just take a break and look after his health.

There was one time when Jonathan was out being as the scarecrow and he had a nasty cough like now and couldn't really talk without coughing, he came back home early than usual that night, Though he didn't wanted to, but it was bothering him really badly.

I reluctantly let him go to work, but called some of the staff in Arkham Asylum to keep an eye on Jonathan since he has a nasty cold, but I know that probably Jonathan will deny having a cold when going to work.

Two hours went by and I got a phone call from a staff member of Arkham saying that Jonathan pass out asleep at his desk and he was burning up and definitely has a fever, luckily a nurse is dropping off at our home.

Once I got him inside Jonathan was grumbling and leaning his body against me, "my darling I am fine I can get into my bed" he try to get to our room himself but realised he is soo tired he needed my help to get on the bed, "I'll get some soup ready, you get into your pyjamas"

You got Jonathan's soup ready, his favourite leek and potato soup, I brought the soup into the bedroom and seen Jonathan wrapped himself in blankets and as he curled into a ball, he looked over to me and weakly smiled as he try to sit up properly, he coughed a bit as I placed his soup on his lap, "thank you so much, my darling" I kissed his forehead as I turned on the TV and sat beside Jonathan as he had his soup.

30 minutes went by as I heard soft snores beside me, I gently took the bowl off his lap and brought it to the kitchen to clean it later, I went over and sat again beside him as Jonathan began to move a bit in the bed.

He then curled himself around me laying his head on my chest as I softly played with his hair, "thank you my darling for taking care of me" he quietly said, I smiled softly to myself as I continued to play with his hair, "I love you so much Jonathan, I'll always take care of you" I may get a cold tomorrow because of cuddling Jonathan, but I know Jonathan will take of me when I probably get a cold as well.

I mean yeah he's a crazed doctor that will bring out your fears but he is still my comfort character so he will hug me and protect me
