I honestly get really defensive??? When people think I was born in the state I live in??? Like, Fuck no, I wasn’t born in a blue state with a red family!! That’s not how it works!!!

Do non-americans realize that the United States is literally just a bunch of countries in a trench coat that agreed to be semi-nice to each other in order to sneak into the Big Boy Club? Because let’s be honest that’s just what the USA is

I was born in Indiana loud n proud! Despite hating a lot of people in and from there I’m loyal to the state not it’s people or representatives But you throw Illinois in there “Aren’t you from Illinois?” FUCK no and DONT you d a r e ask me again! And Gd help you if you call me anything but a hoosier And I also get weirdly defensive over the smaller states?? Like don’t go hating on Rhode Island they’re trying their gosh darn BEST you FUCK Anyway I’m really defensive over my state of origin cause I may have been born in Corn country but damn it all corn country has BOUNDARIES
