✧・ﾟ:* holiday cookie requests part 2! *:・ﾟ✧
christmas has passed and it’s time to post my remaining, distinctly non-festive, cookie requests!!! XD and omg... the struggle was real... it was too, too real... Apparently making black icing is like making a deal with the devil... everybody says “don’t do it! it’s a terrible idea! only bad things will happen!” and you’re like “NAHHH~! this will get me exactly what i want! i know what i’m doing!” but you don’t... ((O __O)) you don’t know what you’re doing... you’re SO, SO WRONG!!! *SCREAMING INTO THE VOID FOREVER* sooooo... (= w =) things didn’t quite work out as expected... and there was a lot of stains and curse words along the way! HAHAHAHAH!!! 8D
ANYWAY!!! (O w O) first off!!!! for @crackedverbosity the biggest cookie i made this year! starkiller cookie!!!! which... you’ll see in photo two... suffered the same fate as it’s namesake (only at the hands of a meat tenderizing mallet! WOO!) Secondly!!! (^ v ^) and unrequested cookie for my dear, lovely friend @gentleman-caller !!! it’s a HEART!!! ((O \/\/\/\/O)) a hheaaarrtttt~ (sister: “did... did you just put glitter gel on that...” me: “no” ... “yes”) i love you GC!!! <3 <3 <3 for @epiclifeinruins (T 3 T) i had wanted to make a Knight of Ren... but... in the previously mentioned bought of stains and curse words i destroyed both it and the backup... *SOBS* BUT!!! (O w O) INSTEAD!!! i offer the MOST STAR WARS thing i could think of!!! A SEVERED HAND!!! YAYAYAY!!! <3 then, for @atariakana a ninja with the requested “most obnoxious sprinkles” that i own! LOL! XD he’s VERY sassy, and angry as all heck that nobody takes him seriously!!! and lastly! for @return-to-stardust oh lord... the most difficult cookie i painted all year (T w T) a First Order star! the devil’s black would neither dry nor freeze, making it nearly impossible to paint!!! BUT I PERSEVERED!!!! and, honestly, it kind of turned out like what i’d imagine the FO insignia would look like in a yakuza AU! HAHHAHAH!!! XD
WOW!!! ((O w O)) finally done! YAYAYAY!!! the only other sugar cookies i ended up making were some wintery trees and these BEAUTIFUL snowflakes!!!! OMG!!! (T w T) of all the cookie cutters i didn’t own before this year, i didn’t have a snowflake! OH MY! but the one i got was just GORGEOUS! as were the blue sprinkles i found!!! and this might sound crazy~ but pretty blue sprinkles are hard to get without going online!!! ((O [ ]O))
so!!! (-^ ____^-) thank you again to everybody who took part! and omg!!! i had so much fun!!! (o _ o) and also learned some valuable lessons for the future... oh dear... *shudders* I hope everybody had a tolerable, if not lovely, holidays!!! and a very joyous new year to you all!!! YAYYAYA!!! “penguin was just a small, wobbly headed magpie chick when my son, noah, found her lying injured on the grass after being blown out of her nest. she was very lucky to survive such a horrendous fall but without immediate care would have died within a day.
“we built her a simple nest and kept her warm with a tiny blanket. noah immediately named her penguin, due to her black and white plumage. it is not easy to look after any injured wild creature [so] we undertook a great deal of research about magpies and were extremely grateful for all the specialist veterinary advice we received, especially in regard to penguin’s diet.
“while getting penguin to eat was a real victory, her recovery remained touch and go. but over time she grew in both stature and confidence.
“as penguin’s strength grew so did her curiosity. we never locked her inside any kind of cage so she was always free to venture outside the house. it didn’t take long before she started to forage for her own food in the backyard and it was clear she was becoming increasingly independent.
“despite being free to leave she still chose to sleep inside the house for at least six months. fortunately there is a large frangipani tree in our yard that penguin always felt comfortable in, so that became her home. however if we ever leave a window open she’ll fly inside the house at sunrise and scamper down the hallway to one of the bedrooms and jump into bed.
“australian magpies are known for their beautiful songs and penguin began singing short songs during the day from a very early age and would eventually sing for hours and hours at a time. whenever we’d pull up in the driveway she’d let out a loud and melodic warble to welcome us home then flap her wings with excitement and run straight to the front door to be let inside.
“while she will always be a part of our family penguin does not belong to us. the world is hers to explore and she regularly travels elsewhere, sometimes for days at a time. we won’t see her for a while and then, without warning, she confidently walks in the door as if nothing has changed.” (source, edited for length)

i used my warm-up sketch time today to draw a really beautiful friend of mine! <3 <3 <3 <3 i’m crazy about big curly hair!!! (= w=) i know it’s an inconvenience often for the people who have it~ but... i’m just so in love with it!!! *SWOON* it’s just so MAGICAL!!! MAGICAL I TELL YOU!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
OMG!!! (O w O) so because of my self-imposed restriction against playing Pokemon Go until i had my big projects finished i only just started today!!! IT WAS SO FUN!!!! <3 <3 <3 of course, i picked Bulbasaur!!! because there is no world in which i WOULDN’T pick that adorable kitty/plant monster!!! and i’m only level 4 right now, so i can’t pick a team yet, but you KNOW i’m gonna go Instinct!!! <3 <3 <3 From day one my gut told me i had to be on team Instinct!!! and even when everybody started calling it the Hufflepuff of Pokemon Go - no matter how much i tried to tell myself i was going to go Mystic - yep... i’m Instinct all the way! HAHAHHAAH!!! I can’t wait to hatch my first egg!!! I wonder what it’s going to be!?!?! <3 <3 <3

Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.
