The first talon of peace

Snapping Turtle was the first of the talons of peace Argile introduced me to.

Only slightly shorter than the mudwing, Snapping turtle is an odd looking seawing. His scales arent vibrant like usual and his snout is short. His larger form is almost all muscle, learned this as his tail crushed a large log like it was a twig. I doubt anything could pierce through his thick scales

As his name implies he is extremely snappy. I hadnt got a word in before he complained about my timelyness. I fully believed he hated me until he paused and complimented my scales. An odd interjection but a welcomed one.

From what Argile explained Snapping turtle is very smart with strength to back it up. It makes him perfect for information collecting in more dangerous areas. He has very few scars which makes me wonder how often he actually fights... or more so how good he is at it. I wasnt going to try and find out. Why make enemies so early on.. he also did compliment me.

Im nervous to meet the others as ive hear argile refer to Snapping turtle as "The nice one" Not giving me a lot of hope right now

Small detour from my usual wof content. Made this for a playlistober prompt I never cared about you by the mixed matches. Amazing song.

Also recently got yellowfangs wish cause my local bookstore does have wof arc 2 for me to read at work. so library is next place I'm looking (i think they're back open. I'm in a smaller town so places like the library will close randomly lol)

But it makes me think of my cat ocs again

But if anything make sure you check on your mamas make sure they know that you know they are more than just your mom. Engage in their interests, help them reach their goals, give em a hug, make sure they feel supported <3

To those like me find your mother figure. No one will replace your mom but having someone you can look to can help. I got my aunt and other miscellaneous mother figures.

Turtle

Wings of fire au where everything is the same except turtle is hiding away on an island just surfing

While I enjoy a good nervous character I think it would be so cool if turtle was more of this "the world is harsh and mean but out on the water none of it matters. Its just me."

in this au of sorts I imagine he left in his teen years feeling overwhelmed from his powers and status yet undersupported due to the lack of attention from his mom. Hitting a point of still loving and caring for those around him but recognizing that in this spot he'd be stuck being unhappy.

He left to a secluded island enjoying the peace of solitude and finding a love of surfing. time passes and kinkajou and moon get washed up on his island probably chasing a mystery or somthing idk. Moon of course is wary of this random seawing while kinkajou is thrilled. Moon figures out who he is, to his dismay, and they have a chat about powers n such

"Your a prince and an animus... you have the power to do so much yet you just... sit here doing nothing... sorry that sounds harsh.."

"No need to apologize I see your point... I could do so much but I could also damage alot.. including myself. I dont want to loose myself for others who could care less about me. For now... taking care of me is all I need to do."

Moon would eventually be understanding. Kinkajou on the other hand is having too much fun learning to surf and enjoying the flora and shells Turtle finds on the beach.

(imma be 100% here and say I didnt really think too deeply about this au, I really wanted to draw turtle surfing lol. so excuse its messy nature and the fact that if turtle was like this half of like arc 2 wouldnt exist 💀 )

Ended up making these ones a little more detailed cause I tried to fit them into my full canvas lol but I loved making more little details

reminder, dont touch people who are uncomfortable with being touched. No. it doesnt mater if your friends or family of said person. respect peoples boundries.

I personally hate being touched, but as long as I know whats happening im usually fine. Ex. I see you open your arms in a hug way. What gets me is unknown touching like surprise hugs or grabbing me. god i hate when people just grab me I panic.

what irks me the most is when people KNOW i dont like being touched. like ive told them and they still do it. *cough* family members *cough*
