Lucette: You’re clearly not listening. I can say whatever I want, can’t I?
Mythros: Tell me about it.
Lucette: I murdered Sir Alcaster last night.
Mythros: I feel you.
Lucette: Now that I have the taste for blood, I can’t stop murdering.
Mythros: Been there.
Well, I’m still alive!^^
Even managed a small side project in four chapters, where Lucette gets reincarnated as female Tony Stark and Myth as Loki.
It’s completely uploaded over on Ao3.
Well, look at what I found. A list of keywords for drabbles that was quite popular on Fanfiktion.de once as the 120-challenge (I think it was called).
You can ask requests for a specific setting with a keyword or simply pick a keyword in generall and I’ll write something for it.
If there is no ask in general, I’ll simply pick one with a random number generator.
And yes, words can be picked multiple times.

myth and fritz drabble?
Have a small piece.
Sometimes Mythwasn’t sure how the knight was able to be so genuinely good.
It wasn’tthat the boy was trying to be charming or trying to woe her. He was… way tooobvious for that.
But in away they were the same. Bound by their oaths, their duties, their promises. Theknight was just way more open about it, his promises and oaths known. His dutiesnot needing to be hidden.
Both oftheir duties would be dangerous under specific circumstances. And none of themwould simply abandon them. It was just how they were. Even when they haddifferent reasons for it.
In the end, they were both just doing their jobs, driven and motivated by personal agendas.
i was thinking moonlight with MythLu? thank u. sorry for bothering u.
You aren’t a bother. If writing was a bother, my ask box wouldn’t be open.
108 - Moonlight
The moon was bright in the sky, turning the room into a strange pattern of shadows and strange patches of white and different shades of gray.
And Myth couldn’t sleep. He had fallen asleep, woken up, due to a nightmare, he couldn’t remember clearly anymore and then had found himself laying awake, heart still beating to fast, thoughts still running. Normally, he would have gotten up, left the bed and found himself a book. There was always paperwork in his office, waiting to ge finished.
But he wasn’t alone and there wasn’t paperwork needed to distract himself from these feelings anymore.
His Princess, to be his Queen (always his Goddess, but he had the feeling, she wouldn’t react well to that title) was still asleep, the moonlight illuminating her form.
He didn’t dare to cast a mage light, she had proven before that she was sensitive enough to notice, even when asleep and it was enough that he was awake. And the moon was bright enough anyway.
He watched her for a bit, before he carefully reached out and grabed her hand. Both of them didn’t sleep well too close to each other. As nice as the feeling was, it felt restrictive to sleep like that. Trapped.
It was enough if the other one was there when they woke up, not that they slept together often. The king just wasn’t sure how to find a chaperon that could keep a good eye on them, regarding how both of them could magically change places.
Closing his eyes again, he concentrated on listening to her breaths and the fingers around his, he drifted off back to sleep. Even so, he was sure that her grip tightened at some point.
how do you think a myth route would go, if it was canon?
Well…
Starting atthe beginning, I don’t think the prologue would change much, at most maybe thechoice to talk with Mythros a bit more than the short greeting in the hallway. Iguess the real first bigger change would happen in the Marchen, when you’resupposed to make a choice, who to ask for help.
In Fritz’sroute Lucette doesn’t ask anyone, but still ponders how to break her curse. Icould see her start doubting that Delora even spoke the truth about thebreaking conditions of the course, together with the trustworthiness of theother Marchen inhabitants. They trust Delora after all and Delora cursed her.
Resulting fromthe distrust she may strife to leave the Marchen more often, to get away frompeople, even without any protection -be it via magic or by having a bodyguard-and people are looking for her.
Someone mayapproach her -Myth has a big reward out for her- or maybe Fritz stumbles overher or maybe it gets late one time and Varg finds her. Or maybe she ends upnear the palace and Genaro sees her for some reason and gets scared, becauseshe does look like Hildyr and fromafar…
It would beenough for Myth to take a personal look at the surroundings.
In any caseLucette would learn pretty quickly that Myth has magic, because he remembersher. And also notice quickly that he is a witch, because a fairy wouldn’t behiding and you would need to have a good reason to hide being cursed.
Maybe hepretends that he is in the palace to prevent racism via laws by sabotaging them, maybe he finds another excuse for being at the palace. Maybe he even mentionsher mother to establish himself as more willing to share information than the peopleat the Marchen.
Despitethat Lucette may still need to return to the March at times. Parfait is abearer and still much stronger than Myth and Myth can’t afford being unmaskedas a witch.
Maybe heoffers her a fake job as an excuse to get her out of the palace. As a princessshe is educated after all. (Secretary, translator for something, administration, take your pick, in any case better than sweeping floors.)
Lucettewould maybe learn more of the Witch Hunts than of the Great War, interact withmore witches -Myth would have needed to be in contact with many of them to gettheir assistance in Rumpel’s route- and getting taken seriously instead ofgetting pestered about good deeds may even calm Lucette down a bit.
Being inMyth’s company would be an excuse to enter the palace as well and the two woulddefinitely have quite some time to talk. Maybe Emelaigne would start playing a biggerroll as well, I can see her being pretty interested into a new face at the palaceshe could talk to.
I couldimagine that Varg would also be present regularly and Myth may twist his reasonfor cursing Fritz a bit, as in it being better than the alternatives Alcastercould have done.
Myth wouldsurely also have a way to deal with Alcaster (I can imagine him poisoning theman or simply letting evidence be found after removing evidence pointing athimself. Or he pulls something similar as in Rod’s route.)
Improvementsin a relationship with him may be done by acknowledging that he has quite theskill with magic. Or simply not comparing him with Waltz. Seeing him as a talentedindividual may also help there. Getting this kind of positive attention mayvery well be what makes him split from Hildyr in the end. Maybe he puts Fritzinto a coma to keep Varg from drowning Fritz’s personality, maybe the two mergeand the curse breaks.
In a goodending… well, if they get together, people would in any case learn of him havingmagic, which would result in less hiding. He may simply claim he hid it toguard the Tenebrarum better. People may have panicked and tried to dispose ofthe late queen sleeping inside, destroying the crystal in the process. And theking was openly unapproving of witches, which may play a part as well.
In the badending… a lot of people die, I would say. Hildyr gets free. I don’t know if shewould kill Myth for his involvement with Lucette or if she would do somethingelse. Maybe Lucette ends up willingly following her mother’s lead once more, having learned what people did to the witches just for fearing them doing thehunts and remembering what people were like to her, when she didn’t even havepowers.
Or maybe Hildyrgets free in both endings. Maybe they double cross and dispose of her in publicto make sure no one doubts Myth’s loyalty despite having been her apprentice. Inthe bad ending as the ice queen, distrustful of human goodwill and unforgivingto people. Maybe there is a choice for her, to take the throne by force andmake herself queen by force, fighting and winning against the people of the Marchen. In the good ending she would let everything get sorted out and maybe even letit go piece by piece, having learned about human and magical evil.
I would atleast guess that we would see a lot more story about the War and the Hunt, Hildyrand magic in general.
57 pls
And here is it. ^^
057 - Sacrifice
Somesacrifices were necessary. Myth knew that. Prepared for that, even. But it wasstill a pity that with the traitor’s involvement the princess was useless forhis plans. It would need threats instead of negotiation, now, to free thequeen.
Alcasterhad been a sacrifice from the beginning, the man way too greedy to accept his placewasn’t on the throne. Fritz was way too… genuine with his loyalty to duty and crownto accept the princess being sacrificed. But then Myth didn’t even know, whatthe queen would do with her child in the end.
The kingwas a readily sacrificed pawn in his game. Too idealistic. Too stubborn to justlay down after tasting the freedom the queen’s absence offered him.
What Mythhadn’t expected was the readiness with which the queen sacrificed him.
019 - Snow
Myth had a split opinion on snow. Yes, it was pretty and shiny and watching it fall had something serene to it. Something calming.
But that was only the case when you had the possibility of warming up somewhere, of changing into dry clothes and having a safe place to sleep.
Before the queen had taken him, Myth had dreaded the arrival of the snow. It was a sign of the cold weather to come, of snow sticking to fabric and melting, turning warming clothes cold and wet, needing ore layers to stay warm and some of the hiding places tuning uninhabitable.
Years later, clothed in thick coats or behind windows with a fireplace warming the room, Myth watched the snow with indifference. It was there, it would go away. The only danger it brought him now was hiding slippery ice patches, blocking paths or someone daring to throw snowballs at him.
021 - Anomaly
The most difficult things to plan for, Myth knew, were anomalies. Especially persistent ones. There were anomalies in strength -Waltz and he- and in sheer stubbornness -Delora- who was despite everything more of a problem than Waltz in some way, due to her closeness to the Lucis bearer.
Myth himself was also an anomaly the opposition wouldn't be expecting. For one, he was supposed to be dead. For another, he had -for now- Alcaster as his ally.
Fritz was an anomaly as well, his willingness to spend time with the princess going past the normal sense of duty.
So many anomalies he needed to keep track of and adapt his plans to...
It would be worth it, in the end.
039 - Dreams
Dreams were an odd thing. Myth knew that. Just as he knew their unreliability.
They were things that had been, may have been and could be. Good and bad.
Myth liked to think that his wishes shown during pleasant dreams would come true. Just as he wished that the bad things would disappear from the surface of the world and take their pyres, gallows, blades and blunt weapons with them together with the screams and phantom smell of blood, sometimes creeping out of his nightmares into his awakened state.
Even if he wished for good things for himself, he wasn’t sure that he wanted them, if he would ever need to relive these kinds of dreams for it.
These could stay dreams and never come back to reality.
Myth scolding Genaro for his bad parenting?
This takes place in the Fritz Route, after Hildyr got freed.
Myth wantedto sigh when he felt yet another pull at his spell controlling the king. The spell’sworkings were easy enough. Cut the connection where mind interacted with body andput the body either on remote control or let it follow a set routine.
It had the advantagethat he didn’t need to micro manage the king into doing the basic things ofkeeping himself alive. If there was food placed in front of him, he would eatit. At specific points in time he would move to the dining room, his sleepingquarters, the throne room or where ever Myth directed him to.
“Why do youeven keep trying to get control back? It wouldn’t help you anything. Not evenimprove your situation!” he glared at the man and felt the man’s mind reel, surprisinglydefiant looking how passive he had always been. And angry. Myth wanted tolaugh.
“Oh,blaming the witches on everything again? Do you really think it’s my fault? Sure, I guarded the Tenebrarumand showed the princess where it was, but I didn’t force her into freeing hermother. She still believed what she knew. Her mother loved her. You don’t care. You have more important things to take care of and direct your attention to,”Myth smiled at the way the mind recoiled, making it much less tasking to reinstatefull control, but well… a little gloating was allowed.
“It was so easy in comparison to how difficultit would have been, if you had botheredwith her, you know? But after you had ignored her for months? You couldn’t havemade it much easier for me. And then pretending it never happened and giving up so easily again!” The mind reeled, projectingmisery and guilt.
“It all happenedbecause of you. Because you feared the tantrum of a witch, who hadn’t evengrown into her powers yet. Imagine it: One day to tell her the truth, a fewdays -maybe weeks- to let her calm down and then? No more hiding, no more lies,no more secrets… But no- you wanted to be done with this part of your live. Andthis decision made the part come right back.”
Leaningback in his seat, Myth closed his eyes, basking in the fury, guilt and miserythe king was throwing against the ropes of the spell.
“Are youeven aware that Hildyr will most likely kill you, if you break that spell?” Onelast struggle- nothing. Myth smiled, showing teeth and feeling utterly elated.
It was so nice to be on the winning side.
