57 pls

And here is it. ^^

057 - Sacrifice

Somesacrifices were necessary. Myth knew that. Prepared for that, even. But it wasstill a pity that with the traitor’s involvement the princess was useless forhis plans. It would need threats instead of negotiation, now, to free thequeen.

Alcasterhad been a sacrifice from the beginning, the man way too greedy to accept his placewasn’t on the throne. Fritz was way too… genuine with his loyalty to duty and crownto accept the princess being sacrificed. But then Myth didn’t even know, whatthe queen would do with her child in the end.

The kingwas a readily sacrificed pawn in his game. Too idealistic. Too stubborn to justlay down after tasting the freedom the queen’s absence offered him.

What Mythhadn’t expected was the readiness with which the queen sacrificed him.

hii jdjsksks so happy to see this blogg love mythros so much <333 if you have the time, could you write a drabble about mythros’s interactions with varg/fritz ?

Well, here it goes.^^Just a bit of Varg in this one.

Myth wantedto curse. Preferably Alcaster into oblivion. Pity, he needed the man’sresources or he would arrange an accident. Or a sickness, depending on thecircumstances.

As it was, heneeded to make due. Like always with the man. A bit more common sense or a bitof foresight past the tip of his sword would do the man some good, then hewouldn’t need to clean up these kind of messes.

Clack. Clack. Clack.

He glared atthe source of the sound and the black haired young man gave him a smile thatwas more showing teeth than smiling. But then wolfs didn’t smile, only baringtheir teeth at possible threats.

But Vargstill stopped clacking the cane against the floor and Myth turned away to lookat the map again marking another area off.

The soundrestarted.

“Can’t you goand bother Alcaster?” he finally snarled. He could force obedience with theleash he had built into the curse, but Alcaster was doing well enough aboutagitating the wolf and he didn’t want to be the first target if the curseshould fail him.

He would havepreferred using a more tailored curse, one that couldn’t be broken by accident, but Alcaster had bound his hands on the matter, by only calling him in afterthe convincing failed. And then there had bern no time! And so afairytale curse needed to do, casting eased by the template his queen hadworked into the Crystallum.

Well, depending on the princess thought on the curse and her attachment to theknight, he could at least claim that it kept the boy from getting killed. Pitythat even memory spells took preparation and he had been in no position tosimply let the knight disappear for a few days.

“He told meto go and bother you. He wants to know about the princess he can’t remember.”The personified curse smirked.

The livingmenace should remember the princess just as well as every other cursed.

But thenAlcaster couldn’t even recognize that his son was happy with his lot in lifeand the chances of him joining the coup resulting small.

And from thesmirk Varg knew that Myth knew that the curse knew everything.

Myth glaredback at the map of the town.

He hadapplied a tracking spell to the princess’ hairbands, but either all of themwere in the palace, he had missed some, whatever had happened had stripped thespell off or she was in a blind spot.

“Varg, comeover here. You can make yourself useful,” he said.

“More usefulthan just running around with letters?” the man asked mockingly.

“Not moreexciting, but yes, more useful. Give me the cane a moment.”

Object inhand Myth turned it to access the lower end and called upon his magic.

The slightstrain on his strength was calming, the task taking over his mind and taking uphis concentration.

Uponfinishing, he handed it back and then walked around the room setting a few morespells, creating a net pattern on the ground in the process.

“Walk thestreets and make sure to use this annoying habit of yours to clack it againstthe ground,” he instructed, “Every time you do-” he clacked it into the ground“It’ll create a mark.”

A pointappeared on the pattern.

“What’s thatfor?” Varg frowned at the point.

“It’ll createa map and show me the areas were my tracking spells aren’t working. There can’tbe many blind spots. And if the princess is actively hidden from us, it’ll atleast show where she is not,” Myth forced himself to stay calm. Telling thewolf the truth should keep shenanigans down.

Varg hummedunder his breath clacking it on the ground multiple times, as if testing thesound.

There wasno visible effect on cane or ground, but the point seemed to brighten a bit.

“Well, betterthan being coped up somewhere. I know where the exit is,” he said and strolledout.

Myth heardthe clacking of the cane distancing itself until a door closed.

Finally!Hopefully he showed more manners if he did find the princess.

i was thinking moonlight with MythLu? thank u. sorry for bothering u.

You aren’t a bother. If writing was a bother, my ask box wouldn’t be open.

108 - Moonlight

The moon was bright in the sky, turning the room into a strange pattern of shadows and strange patches of white and different shades of gray.

And Myth couldn’t sleep. He had fallen asleep, woken up, due to a nightmare, he couldn’t remember clearly anymore and then had found himself laying awake, heart still beating to fast, thoughts still running. Normally, he would have gotten up, left the bed and found himself a book. There was always paperwork in his office, waiting to ge finished.

But he wasn’t alone and there wasn’t paperwork needed to distract himself from these feelings anymore.

His Princess, to be his Queen (always his Goddess, but he had the feeling, she wouldn’t react well to that title) was still asleep, the moonlight illuminating her form.

He didn’t dare to cast a mage light, she had proven before that she was sensitive enough to notice, even when asleep and it was enough that he was awake. And the moon was bright enough anyway.

He watched her for a bit, before he carefully reached out and grabed her hand. Both of them didn’t sleep well too close to each other. As nice as the feeling was, it felt restrictive to sleep like that. Trapped.

It was enough if the other one was there when they woke up, not that they slept together often. The king just wasn’t sure how to find a chaperon that could keep a good eye on them, regarding how both of them could magically change places.

Closing his eyes again, he concentrated on listening to her breaths and the fingers around his, he drifted off back to sleep. Even so, he was sure that her grip tightened at some point.

Alright:

1. Askbox is empty. Please sent request. T__T

2. I decided to open my askbox for NSFW requests. I’ll try to write them. Posts with NSFW content will be marked as such with a warning before the snippet, drabble, etc...

As such you can make requests now for: -AUs -snippets -drabbles (from the list or otherwise) -questions -One-Shots -any other writing connected stuff, you may want me to write I didn’t list yet, but no poetry. (I mean it. I suck at poems.)

The only condition is, that it somehow involves Myth/Mythros.

myth and alcaster drabble!!

Have a small piece.^^

Myth didn’tlike Alcaster. He was brutish, had no sense for sensible approaches and was tryingto take what belonged to his queen: The throne.

What didthe man even think was going to happen? Well, he knew what the man thought wasgoing to happen. That him taking over would instil enough fear into people tomake them ‘more productive’ again. Moron. He would be busy wasting theresources of this raised productivity to instil the fear needed to raise productivity.

Even nowthe man was strutting around in the room they were meeting in. Tense, as ifawaiting someone to just barge into the room. Not that Myth was going to remindhim of the spell keeping people away.

“That planis not going to work that way,” he finally said, “There is no way we can assurethat all of the turned knights will be in the palace at the same time and noone else. The number of the knights in question is too small.” And people notinvolved would never let his alliesin. And witches were vulnerable to steel like everyone else, if there was notime to cast a shield.

The man gavehim a cold glare Myth just answered with an unimpressed, raised brow. “Do youhave a better plan?” he snarled coolly. “More time to turn more knights to thecause,” he commented calmly. The man could do with some patience. But thenhumans had short life spans. Did Alcaster start feeling his age? Was that thereason why he started pushing everything forward faster?

“We can’twait forever! If the brat marries, there’ll only be more people to take care of!”“As long as the king pretends to let the crown go, there shouldn’t be a problemat all,” the witch replied. Not that the crown would go to anyone else than hisqueen.

He wouldtreasure the face of this human, when his queen returned and he noticed fromwhom he had tried to take.

I feel like I need to apologize, because the other one wasn’t a drabble at all and not even real angst. Have something morey angsty instead.

Sometimes Myth saw things that weren’t there. It wasn’t following a patter he could control. Work came in waves, cutting his sleep and with a tired mind, his eyes played tricks on him.

There were shadows reaching for him, fires reaching up to the ceiling, the coppery smell of blood choking him. Then something startled him out of it, mostly the sudden screams echoing in his own head.

The world was unfair. Crying for the past and lost things was useless. He still sometimes wished he had never needed to learn it. He would need to live with his nightmares.

Fire was the worst, flickering in each fireplace, bright and happy and crackling, accompanied by the phantom smell of burned flesh summoning the urge to run, run, run! He wasn’t sure if that-if he ever gave in to that urge again- he could run far enough to forget this time around that he was the only one left of that place he had called home once.

What about 005?

You shall receive!

005 - Seeking Solace

Memoriesand dreams were the only solace Myth still had. His queen was encased incrystal. He was hiding who he was, unable to trust anyone and not able to moveanywhere, where hiding would be unnecessary.

He didn’twant to hide, to play loyal pawn to the king, who was undoing his queen’s work!He wanted-!

If he wascompletely truthful, he wanted his life back from before the Hunts. Being ableto hug his mother for reassurance and his father there to chase imaginarymonsters away. Seeking solace in the warmth and protection only his parents couldoffer him until they had gone up in flames together with everything else.

And whilethe queen had taken him in, she wasn’t someone to coddle her apprentices. Shewas no one to offer reassurance. Not to him, who wasn’t her child. She was noone to went to, to seek solace. She was a beacon, shining bright, but too coldto offer comfort or warmth. The only safety it offered was the light illuminatingyour surroundings.

But Mythmissed the warmth, missed the safety and having a place to belong. As it was,he needed to seek solace in his memories and dreams.

021 - Anomaly

The most difficult things to plan for, Myth knew, were anomalies. Especially persistent ones. There were anomalies in strength -Waltz and he- and in sheer stubbornness -Delora- who was despite everything more of a problem than Waltz in some way, due to her closeness to the Lucis bearer.

Myth himself was also an anomaly the opposition wouldn't be expecting. For one, he was supposed to be dead. For another, he had -for now- Alcaster as his ally.

Fritz was an anomaly as well, his willingness to spend time with the princess going past the normal sense of duty.

So many anomalies he needed to keep track of and adapt his plans to...

It would be worth it, in the end.

019 - Snow

Myth had a split opinion on snow. Yes, it was pretty and shiny and watching it fall had something serene to it. Something calming.

But that was only the case when you had the possibility of warming up somewhere, of changing into dry clothes and having a safe place to sleep.

Before the queen had taken him, Myth had dreaded the arrival of the snow. It was a sign of the cold weather to come, of snow sticking to fabric and melting, turning warming clothes cold and wet, needing ore layers to stay warm and some of the hiding places tuning uninhabitable.

Years later, clothed in thick coats or behind windows with a fireplace warming the room, Myth watched the snow with indifference. It was there, it would go away. The only danger it brought him now was hiding slippery ice patches, blocking paths or someone daring to throw snowballs at him.
