finally have the energy to do an intense journaling session before my gym sesh ~
the things that bring me the most joy are the simplest: the feeling of climbing in to my own bed after a long day. the smell of coffee. a stranger being kinder than i expected. waking up to the sound of rain. the sound of a loved one's laughter. these simple joys are all i need.
🩷 15.06.2025 // I studied with a 90/15 schedule today and I'm feeling wayyy better than yesterday :)))
I did some physics, chemical analysis, a lot of immunopathology and some pharmacology! I'm glad my bf is here to help me do the past papers because everytime I'm reading one I'm panicking ://
I "only" studied 8 hours today but first I slept in a bit so it was nearly impossible to study more ahah (tomorrow I hope that I'll wake up earlier tho)
Also, tell me if you want more pictures of my cat as she spend all day in my bedroom, sleeping on my bed ahah
While studying for this class right before exams, every time i felt like i needed a break i would make a tiny drawing.
Now my book is full of this type of lil guys.
I am once again going through this book and thought that I'd share the doodles that kept me sane(debatable) during exam season.
Imagine getting to the point in life where YOU are your own vision board; where you are that girl who has the life that you want, and you don't have to seek it out through other people. That should be the ultimate goal.
Here are subtle things that you should be doing to channel your ideal person and improve yourself for the better FROM THE INSIDE
take care of your hygiene: brush your teeth every day, wash your face with soap, wash your hair, take meaningful showers
be kind to yourself: speak nicely to yourself, treat yourself every now and then, love yourself exactly the way you came
make the effort: do your hair and wear something cute, even if you're only going to the supermarket. I bet your ideal self looks stunning wherever she goes, so make that effort if you really want to become her
move your body: dance to some music for just 5 minutes, take a walk, get off the bus a (reasonable) few stops earlier and walk the rest of the way
romanticise the hell out of your life: wear those bows, create that vision board, play that aesthetic background music even if you're just washing the dishes, wear that outfit!!!!!
admire yourself: look at yourself in the mirror and remember what you look like, take a million selfies to look back and smile at, give yourself a compliment every time you pass your reflection
get creative: if you want cute decor, make it! if you want cute clothes, find some easy DIYs!
focus on what you can control: if you cannot change the situation, let it resolve itself. don't waste your precious time obsessing over something you cannot change
get to know yourself (again): rediscover your hobbies, try new activities, learn to appreciate your solitude, get out of your shell
I really wish I was part of a community like this when I was going through a really insecure and lonely phase of my life.
Instead of deciding to wake up a 3am every day from now on, and trying to reach 20k steps every day, start small and walk your way up to greatness!

Trying to get back in the studying mood is the hardest part of studying.
There's still time left until my midterms, but I don't want to cram a lot right before the exams, so I'm trying to get back on track. Productivity level is remarkably low.
Any advice on getting motivated to study?
We're all just humans
And to be human means to make mistakes.
And that's perfectly ok.
Learning to embrace making mistakes means learning to love yourself a little bit more (and at the end of the day, that's what really matters)
2/6 exams to go
Today felt like it would never end.
Had an exam in the morning, coffe break, continued studying, had another exam in the afternoon, and then went ikea shopping.
First exam: good, i felt great about my performance, got me excited for life :)
Second exam: i blanked. I was tired, burnt-out, unfocused, and for the life of me, i could not focus enough to properly answer the questions. I did... Poorly, for lack of better words.
Not feeling great, but shopping did help make me feel a bit better
10/100 days of productivity
you're getting distracted again. focus.
drink a cup of water, tie your hair up, pull on your comfiest clothes, get your desk clean and ready, print out past papers, set your notes out, turn your laptop on, turn off all distractions, take out your stationary, open your books, take a deep breath, and just start.
Just because you have to study to achieve your dreams doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable
College has been a whole process for me. I did not know how to study, i did not know how to put effort into the right things, and most importantly, i did not know how to accept that my actions (or lack of) were the problem.
It took me years, but I've learned to accept that it's ok for me to need to study to be good when it comes to a subject, that college is a place for learning, not for being instantly good at something.
And now i can finally say that, without the subconscious frustration, i truly do enjoy learning new things, studying new subjects, and studying for the sake of knowing more, not just to pass exams.
It takes work, but it's all worth it.
cant wait for when i become a real person
I chose to waste time in a way I like, and everything aesthetic fills my soul
