I might be in the minority where I hope none of the ‘main girls’ become Maidens.

Ever since it was introduced Maidenhood has screamed ‘more trouble than it’s worth’ to me. You get a bit of a power boost but you still lose fights, and everyone now wants to find or fight you. You end up a over-pressured and paranoid mess.

Penny, honestly, was the one exception they could have convinced me on, it serves her arc in a way they couldn’t do most other ways, and they handled it’s effects well, through Fria’s choice through this episode.

It also seems a bit too obvious? Nora less so because the most obvious would be Team RWBY all getting magic.

Can we leave the Winter maiden Nora theory in V7 where it died? Y'all are really hoping Penny dies just so your personal fav can get a power up.

Penny's not dying again, she's already a real girl, and her arc would make no sense if she lost the powers. She'd be running from her conflict, not resolving it.

Nora already has an arc about identity issues and giving her the responsibilities of a maiden would make that worse. Let her figure out who she is as an individual.

The other Happy Huntresses, and Nora, find May and Jaune dozed off cuddling on the couch together with some sappy movie playing, how to they react?

If you’ll excuse some hopeful guesswork. What do you do when you have an infection or parasite? You get a fever to burn it out.

Seriously, Cinder can outright incinerate people and make glass from dirt and I’m meant to believe the Grimm arm that can get sliced off with a sword will be an overwhelming issue once Cinder realized she should want it gone?

Even if they want to play it so she can’t handle it all alone, if the arm can pull that Midnight stuff and keep her from getting rid of it completely, I’d still peg it as Cinder being able to resist it overtaking her. She might be the only person able to resist so directly.

And them we can see Cinder learning to ask for help and we can get the Ruby/Cinder/Jaune scene we need.

But yeah, that’s just my hopeful thinking...

Feeling somewhat satisfied that I called the “Grimmified Cinder” stuff but also sad knowing she’ll probably go Grimm at the end of Vol 8 and it will probably take forever to turn her back. Also turning her back will likely result in her death. Sadness.

Emerald rushed over to Yang, shaking as she checked over the blonde. She had watched her be fished out of the grimm river and could already see a bit of a change happening to her. “Come on Yang, get back up! You can die now! Not while you still need to get Oscar!” 

Yang coughed as a bit of grimm goo came out of her mouth, slowly starting to get up. “T-that worried about me?” 

Emerald pulled Yang into a kiss. “Oh thank the gods you’re alive.” She pulled back and slapped her. “You could’ve died doing that!” 

Yang smiled and rubbed her cheek a bit. “It was worth it for a kiss from you.” 

“Unbelievable! You should’ve just let me die instead of risking your life for me!” Emerald’s frowned slowly changed to a smile. “Thank you though. I… I owe you.” 

Yang shook her head, looking her body over as she saw portions of her looking grimm like. “Let’s… get out of here. I need to figure out how to fix myself.”

Poor boy is gonna get a complex.

You wanna give Jaune faunus fever Kali? Cause this is how it happens.

Maybe she’d give his number to Sienna or someone.

Wonder how Kali would react if she found out bout Jaune having a thing for her. Would she not care or would she confront him bout it?

Kali: Awww! That’s so cute! I remember when I used to have a teenage crush. It was on one of my teachers when I was a student. But Alas I am a married woman now…

*Loosens her robes a bit showing off her cleavage*

Kali: But that doesn’t mean I can’t give poor Jaune some nice memories~

Nora: I mean you’ve always liked, you know, shorter girls...

Ruby: What!?

Jaune: What? That’s not true!

Nora: You liked Weiss!

Jaune: That’s just one-

Nora: And Penny’s partner!

Ruby: You liked Ciel!?

Jaune: Okay! Nora is leaving a lot of context out of that conversation!

Nora: And that green-eyed girl with the pigtails!!! You said you were going to ask her out!

Neo: *Remembering Jaune trying to talk to her while she was disguised*

Your fic is looking great so far. But now I can just imagine Nora catching Neo and Jaune sneaking back one morning and assuming the sauciest.

I’m so glad you’re liking it! Seeing people bookmarking or leaving likes just blows me away. I didn’t think it’d be so well received. I’ve never done something on this scale before. 

And oh my gosh! I never thought of that but I can see it. Nora has always been the first character to pick up on these kinds of things! Predicting Renora, Arkos, Bees, etc. 

Ruby already knows Jaune trains alone since before Higanbana (episode 2 I think?), so she might be able to talk Nora down from confronting them. Though Nora wouldn’t lose her suspicions...

I do my best to try to capture the tone of the characters from canon still (until things diverge enough). I think Nora would have a lot of fun holding that over Jaune’s head and teasing him with it when the time was right and Neo is more integrated in their group

I like Suger Mama Salem as much as anyone, but surely the best sugar mama for Jaune would be Willow...Thoughts? Headcanons?

Yandere!Willow Schnee

It all started quite innocently.

Jaune needed money for training and equipment. Willow Schnee needed an extra pair of hands around her garden. Preferably, the kind that would listen to her orders instead of her husband’s.

Jaune did a good job tending to the Schnee matriarch. He wasn’t working to get into Jacques’ good graces or worm his way into a lofty SDC position through her.

Willow liked that very much.

Slowly, as she took more time to examine her servant boy in her more intoxicated hours, Willow started to fantasize about the young man. Not a true love, not at that point. But the idea of being caressed and loved passionately after so many years of drowning her sorrows certainly warmed her loins.

Jaune was surprised when, after half a year of working under Mrs. Schnee, he was gifted with a silver watch. A very expensive gift for someone like him. He tried to return it only to have Mrs. Schnee deny him that. When asked what he could do in exchange for it, she asked him one simple request.

“Please, call me Willow.”

Something like her ‘fake huntress’ outfit might be neat.

Excuse me while I figure out a post-redemption Cinder outfit after the Grimm arm has been defeated.

I wanna add more Pyrrha elements to her clothes.
