(Sequel to the Yang's dream) Jaune and the rest of his team wake up to a pissed off Yang breaking the door and he is rightfully scared of her. When she tells him the reason why she is pissed... Jaune is massively confused by this and questioning his life choices.

Jaune: *Wakes up drooling and with a bad case of bed hair* Wass goin on?

Pyrrha: *Jumps out of bed half asleep, punches a hole in the closet door, looks around, then goes back to bed*

Nora: *Tackles the floor into submission with her face*

Ren: *Still asleep*

Yang: *Marches over to Jaune and grabs him by the shirt* As of right now you are my boyfriend! I expect to go on a date in a few hours and then for us to get married and have babies in a few years. Understand?!

Jaune: *Still half asleep* Yesh?

Yang: *Nods* Good boy. *Kisses his cheek and tucks him back into bed* Now go back to sleep, a growing boy like you needs his rest. I will see you later today for out date, sweet dreams. *Marches out of the room*

We can all agree that after Jacques, Willow is gonna be suuuper wary of people approaching her, right ? Always wondering if they're interested in her for her or for her family name.

You know who she wouldn't have to wonder about that with ?

Picture this : Raven comes to help with the kids, Willow gets her shit together and helps in the fight as well, then they both go to the "Being a Good Mom 101" classes together and help each other unlearn all that shit that got stuck in their brains over the years (Raven doesn't know how to care for her kid and show it, Willow used to know and can help her take the first few steps while Willow probably has super low self-esteem and doesn't believe she can make things better with her kids and Raven can encourage and support her and give her the kick in the ass she needs to start mending her relationship with the Schneeblings)

And then as they do all that they grow closer and start Feeling Things™ for each other, but Willow always has this little voice in her mind reminding her that it could all be a plot to take her company and family from her all over again and she can't make it stop UNTIL

One day

Willow is feeling distressed because Bad Day and maybe a panic attack or something ? I can see her having those when she first gets the SDC back and has to learn how to run it while trying to stay sober and she'll just feel so much pressure on her it'll make it hard to breathe. Anyway, panic attack when she's all alone and no one can help but SUDDENLY a portal opens and out comes Raven, all worried and stuff and Raven helps Willow calm down and then it hits Willow.

Raven has a portal to her.

They have a bond.

Something Raven can only develop with people she cares about deeply.

Which means she cares about Willow deeply.

She cares about Willow for who she is, not her family name.

And all of a sudden, Willow feels like a weight has been lifted off of her shoulders and she can breathe more easily.

And the future looks just a little bit brighter.

If you’ll excuse some hopeful guesswork. What do you do when you have an infection or parasite? You get a fever to burn it out.

Seriously, Cinder can outright incinerate people and make glass from dirt and I’m meant to believe the Grimm arm that can get sliced off with a sword will be an overwhelming issue once Cinder realized she should want it gone?

Even if they want to play it so she can’t handle it all alone, if the arm can pull that Midnight stuff and keep her from getting rid of it completely, I’d still peg it as Cinder being able to resist it overtaking her. She might be the only person able to resist so directly.

And them we can see Cinder learning to ask for help and we can get the Ruby/Cinder/Jaune scene we need.

But yeah, that’s just my hopeful thinking...

Feeling somewhat satisfied that I called the “Grimmified Cinder” stuff but also sad knowing she’ll probably go Grimm at the end of Vol 8 and it will probably take forever to turn her back. Also turning her back will likely result in her death. Sadness.

Now I’m just imagining an AU where Winter decides that if she’s going to be the maiden, she should probably get a partner/bodyguard to keep her from getting Amber’d.

And here comes Mr.Tall, Blond, and Sturdy. A bit undertrained, but strong and smart and loyal in all the ways she’d need to start with. If Weiss and her team’s stories were reliable. She’d have little trouble turning him into a huntsman a cut above most.

The fact that many of the Civilian Inquiries asking after his performance emphasizes him being ‘wonderful with children’ and ‘husband material’ is just an added bonus.
