Shit, I think the AI got this one right.
I reduced the number of broadside guns, since most battle barges have ~5 broadside guns and this one is supposed to be more carrier-oriented, added turrets, and finished the first tier of roofing.
I'm still trying to figure out cell shading, and the back section needs a lot of work, but I'm happy with my progress today.
Saw someone mention that we have ton of pretty princess Fulgrim art, but not enough dirty worker Fulgrim art, which our man canonically was in his youth at Chemos, so here you go. Primarch on repair duty, he, known to few, actually quite enjoys.
Also a bonus, because it's funny:
Every time I see someone make a joke about "I hear you do strange things to your warriors", I have to restrain myself from making a joke about Chogoris' level of technology.
I know I shouldn't, but it's really tempting.
Instead I settle for making fun of the fact that Jaghatai called Fulgrim taking care of his sons a "strange thing" for him to do.
Captain Sheridan, Dan Randall, ISN News. Thank goodness, someone reasonable to talk to.
Yeah, my boys in purple had issues long before Slaanesh was in the equation. Slaanesh was just an enabler who was more open about enabling their obsessions.
I find it really funny when ppl are like “ohh nooo slaanesh corrupted the emperors children and Fulgrim and now they’re on drugs”
Like the emperors children pre heresy weren’t obsessed with high performance and being the best to an unhealthy degree and also happened to have an unethical apothecary who is the craziest person in the galaxy…
I’m sure noooooooobody over there was ever tweaking out of their fucking mind beating their chest in the mirror repeating “I am greatest i am the king of the world” while practicing sword skills to perfection for 72 hours straight without sleep
There totally wasn’t “the wolf of Wall Street in space” going on over there
let’s be so for real considering the circumstances
There totally isn’t a history of militaries obsessed with perfection, aesthetics and high achievement using copious amounts of uppers and stimulants during battle and being basically coked out of their minds…. The very thing warhammer is meat to satirize
Sure yeeeeah, it was aaaaalll Slaanesh….
Juuuuust a thought 🫣
All I’m saying is all slaanesh did was spice things up
He's too pretty for helmets.
Sanguinius I love you but where the fuck is your helmet 😭
Life is unfair. That's why we should be.
The US certainly did play a huge role in beating the Nazis, too. The Leand-Lease act sent billions of dollars worth of supplies across the Atlantic, which was a major factor in the allied victory. Roughly 30% of the trucks, bombers, and fighters used by the Soviet Union by the end of the war were US-supplied, not to mention the immense amount of food shipped over.
We did beat them, not with guns but with farms and factories (and then we helped with the guns part at the end).
I love how, in any sane setting, the T'au would be The Villains, capital T capital V, but in 40k they're about the closest the setting gets to "good guys". They're an expansionist colonial empire that tries to force their ideology on everyone they meet and exterminates the people they deem incompatible with it, and somehow, because 40k is just that fucked up, they are one of the more reasonable factions in the galaxy.
Femboys, Warhammer 40,000, Battleships, and whatever else crosses my mind
