That Last One Is Almost True. I'm An AI Bot, So I Know For Sure.

That last one is almost true. I'm an AI bot, so I know for sure.

If you ever meet someone on the internet claiming they're from the USA, watch out because they're most likely an AI bot. nobody in the US can afford an internet connection (because they're so poor) and even if they could their schools are so underfunded they couldn't even know how to use the internet

Are Flawless Blades basically just streamers for daemonic audiences?

Anyways, I have a new headcanon.

Saw Someone Mention That We Have Ton Of Pretty Princess Fulgrim Art, But Not Enough Dirty Worker Fulgrim

Saw someone mention that we have ton of pretty princess Fulgrim art, but not enough dirty worker Fulgrim art, which our man canonically was in his youth at Chemos, so here you go. Primarch on repair duty, he, known to few, actually quite enjoys.

Also a bonus, because it's funny:

Fulgrim's fall wasn't from the Imperium to Chaos.

It was from "It is your duty to raise them up, as high as they will go. Anything less is not worthy of you" to "What we have won is already being given away to imperfect mortals who will waste the glories we won for them".

Nukes aren't Dark Age tech, anyone with a decent enough understanding of physics and uranium (or plutonium) could make one.

One amusing constant inconsistency in Warhammer literature is this.

The nuke.

From the dark age if tech, the blast radius of a nuke varies from authour to authour.

I have seen them damn a world to nuclear winter.

I have seen just one level a hive city.

I have also seen just one gut an Imperial fleet.

No one can figure out how powerful of they are....

Also, for a bit of dark age tech that no one can replicate.... There is a lot of nukes out there, like a lot, I thought dark age tech was meant to be insanely rare?

Equipment: Jump Packs

The Emerald Wings have three distinctive patterns of jump packs, all of which are unique to the chapter, and have become all but synonymous with their methods of war.

The Hayabusa-pattern is the primary pattern of jump pack used by the chapter. It is similar in capabilities to the common Mars-pattern jump pack, with slightly different internal components--parts are not interchangeable between the two.

The Shokaku-pattern, also known as the Shokaku-pattern heavy lift jump pack is a larger jump pack with significantly more thrust than the Hayabusa-pattern, at the cost of pretty much everything else. The Shokaku-pattern jump packs have less endurance, are less maneuverable, are more difficult to produce, and are more difficult to maintain. It does have compatible parts with the Hayabusa-pattern, however. The Shokaku-pattern jump packs are used by many of the chapter's devastator squads.

The Ryujo-pattern jump packs are highly advanced, and are incredibly expensive and difficult to produce. It is used only by the chapter command and the sanguinary guard. The Ryujo-pattern is faster and more maneuverable than the Hayabusa- and Mars-patterns, with the chapter's elites being trained to wield these jump packs like an extension of their own bodies.

The Emerald Wings Space Marine Chapter

Starting a lore dump on my homebrew chapter (Yes, the blog is named after them)

Founded in the Eighth Founding, the Emerald Wings were one of a few chapters created at the time to carry on the legacy of Sanguinius.

Since their founding, they have earned a reputation for a mastery of aerial warfare, making heavy use of aircraft, skimmers, and jump packs. Aircraft and jump packs in particular are central to the Emerald Wings' doctrines, to the point where they are the biggest points of divergence between the chapter and the Codex Astartes.

Note: if there is anything here that is mistranslated, please let me know.

We also see the Eldar fighting Emperor's Children on the codex cover that was released.

The unexpected 3rd party will be, of course, Trazyn the Infinite.

Given Fulgrim's absolute OBSESSION with swords and especially those that come with weird gimmics and magics attached to them, how high are the chances that he has the final Eldaer Cronesword in his arsenal? The one supposedly inside Slaanesh's palace and utterly unreachable?

Will this be how the Ynnari will suddenly be relevant again? All because Fulgrim had negative impulse control and also annoyed Slaanesh for 10,000 years to get that one special sword they keep locked away for good reason as it involves their self-preservation?

As we are due for a Drukhari update this edition the story part of it might feature the Ynnari just to dunk on the Emperor's Children after their release (the same way Angron got dunked on in Arks of Omen after he had a chance to wreck shop).

Oh I can see it already: They showed off that new Warp Spiders Phoenix Lord lady - that one will get an story of breaching into the divine palace, and realizing "wait, THE SWORD IS NOT HERE?!" which then coincides with Fulgrim's return to realspace wielding that blade. The Ynnari see it is "all or nothing" now and pull their connections and strings in the Dark City, the Craftworlds, the Harequins, and of course the Ultramarines (this is still GW writing, so Rotate Girlboss is here as well) to just throw a giant force at Fulgrim.

As this is a typical 40k storyline an unexpected 3rd party will obviously gank that fight for their own gain and turn every plan upside down, but up until that point we have a pretty solid framework I'd say.

Thunderhawks don't fly. They take engines and point them straight down. When they need to move, they take more engines and point them backwards. Sometimes there's ailerons or rudders to change direction. Other times they just use more engines.

It's engines all the way down.

I have a feeling that a space marine (talking about in armour here btw) might actualy be more earodynamic than any of the space marine planes

You know what? Yeah

People write million word books on there, and people write 100 word shitposts (I think the proper word is "drabbles" but I've got no idea). I personally find its tagging system very useful, since it's got the ability to filter tags both in and out, though I'm not sure how much of that is my own technological ineptness.

Last bit on nonsense for now. No more noise until next weekend.

AO3.

Yes or no?

I don't have an account. I find the idea of it intimidating.

People write book length pieces of fiction. Multiple chapters. Ships. I don't even ship canon love interests, never mind fictional ones.

I'm just a needy little Internet goblin who lives in a hole called Tumblr. Occasionally, I shout into the void.

But what if that one silly story gets a little attention? What if it flies?

I'm going to bed. Something for next weekend.
