Had a crazy dream last night. Kinda a transformers AU if i think about it.

I don't know what I was doing but basically I was on this giant floating island (think Skyward Sword/TOTK style island) and collecting these rare feathers(?) and other items known to the island because of their power benefits.

Some time passes and I've collected a lot of stuffs (i was probably playing a videogame before bed tbh) and i'm exploring and end up climbing onto Overlord? But also not Overlord? He was asleep (or dormant more likely) in like this mossy area with trees growing out everywhere (kinda like the the sleeping robots from that Ghibli movie Castle in the Sky)

He looked like he was in a more Bayverse style, super hyper-detailed and had many plates on his face to emulate emotions and such. He had more gold-colored plating and his classic blue was more dark teal. He was covered in moss and vines and rusted decay but it was beautiful like ^^

Anyway we got along quickly and he helped me reach the tops of trees to collect more rare feathers (still don't know why that was a thing??) Being able just sit on his shoulder and have a deep conversation with dream!Overlord on a fantasy sky island was such a vibe honestly.

In the end he noticed I was starting to wake up, so he set me back down on the ground. I was about the height of his helm, so I gave him the best hug I could. I still remember - he smelled like moss and oxidizing metal and gasoline. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and then the dream faded out and I woke up...
