Okay so I just started watching FMA03 after finishing brotherhood, and while the plot line is one of the most clearest differences between the two, the characterisation is another distinct one. Namely that of Ed's characterisation. Don't get me wrong, he's still short, short-tempered about his shortness, and devious as hell. However, FMA03 really does emphasise how much of a kid he is, and with that comes a more....hmmmm...quieter charm to him? He is much more approachable and earnest to please than the other Ed, and one of the best results of this is his relationships with others. In Brotherhood, people remarked how his determination and loyalty earned him their respect, despite his shitty attitude. He also showed no interest in anyone but Winry, and no one showed interest in him bar her. Edwin will always be one of the best romances ever written, but it still is slightly unrealistic that not a single person Ed met his age didn't at least get a little crush on him. May doesn't count as when she actually met him she was severely unimpressed, but aside from her no one showed interest in this absolute golden beauty. That's when you jump to 03 and get your absolute fix of a wild range of teens meeting him and basically low key falling in love. Clause (who I firmly headcannon as gender fluid or non-binary, rather than brushed over as a cross dressing girl for no apparent reason??) is enraptured after she gets to know him, Rose is amazed by his bravery and perseverance, and Russell literally writes him the gayest note declaring he admires Ed. Basically, what I'm getting at is FMA03 gives us Ed the golden bisexual icon we all need. Amen.

So what you're saying is despite my friends accepting me for coming out as bisexual, continuing to accept me and encourage me to pursue whatever gender I love, as well as standing up for me when those who are truly biphobic are putting me down, they are still inherently a bunch of people who attempt to suppress and belittle LGBT+ people? I'm sorry, I didn't realise that all people who are good, kind, accepting, and yes, heterosexual, are in fact homophobic and transphobic assholes. I guess I better remove most of the people in my life, despite the fact they've never stopped supporting me and my sexuality cause clearly you know everything.
there is literally no difference between straight and Straight™ stop trying to distance yourself from those “other straights” youre still our oppressors no matter what so stop using jokes that were created by us to deal with literally being oppressed

Every time I watch the Haikyuu stage play I always laugh at the ridiculous amounts of pushing around and generally fighting like toddlers the Karasuno members do. Then I watch the show. Within one episode you get either Hinata or Noya thrown around like a messed up game of catch, Kageyama beating up Hinata in creative new ways, and several creative death threats floating around (either at outsiders or at each other -- Tsukishima I'm looking at you ya salty crow). I swear to the fucking gods I love my fucked up baby birds. Squawking and fighting and all.
I love how at the start of hxh gon was like: I’m going to use my animal instinct and fishing pole to get around the problem uniquely because I’m a cute little feral boy and I just want friends and some fun!!!
But by the end he was like: I’m full of teen angst and I’m gonna PUNCH this problem SO HARD it turns to PULP because my life is already spiralling out of control age (14)
I'm not gonna lie, the possibility of Deku growing up to be a Beefy Boy, whose muscular thighs makes all genders swoon, positively delights me. Like the people from his past school hear about this upcoming hero with the same name as that kid they once bullied and they're like "I bet that lame as Deku isn't even a good hero,..." And then they pull up the trending picture of Deku in his debut fight, and it's just this absolute God with a look pure determination on his bloodied face and a torn uniform that reveals rippling abs and biceps that make those ex-bullies fucking choke. Just give me a ripped af Deku that calls back to All Might's hero form in a less exaggerated manner and makes all the guys, gals and non-binary pals fall head over heels. ....,..,but also, the thought of Deku growing up with his gangly noodly self still intact is also interesting. Like he keeps his slender build and his pretty boy features become goDLIKE and everyone's still in love with him, but villains are super freaked out every time this slender and feminine looking boy just fuckING DESTROYS A BUILDING WITH A PUNCH. Just any form Deku takes will be amazing cause this boy his so good and will be a hero that goes down in history.
