budget witch tip: write someone’s name on a piece of toilet paper and then flush it to signify that you’re DONE WITH THEIR SHIT

A handy resource guide of 100+ witches from across history, literature, mythology, and pop culture. Not all of these women would have identified as such, but many were persecuted and marginalized in the name thereof. This is not complete, nor comprehensive. I will be adding to it as I continue the project, as there are many, many witches I have yet to include.

*denotes I was unable to complete their original post. I will be returning to these and adding a full analysis.
This list stems from my original project that I did for the 100 days before Halloween 2018. The nature of the project I discuss in my 1st post, which happened to be The Witch of Endor. I will be adding dozens other witches I did not get to in the initial 100 over time, and plan on producing a second series for male witches. Stay Tuned!
On the horizon

Witch of the Waste (Howl’s Moving Castle)

Hey guys! It’s been a long time but I’m working on some posts for later. I’m probably am going to work on a reversed version of the cards for next time. Thanks for reading!- Samantha
Do you love the colour of the sky?
Tales from Earthsea (2006) Spirited Away (2001) Whisper of the Heart (1995) Castle in the Sky (1986) Ponyo (2008) Howl’s Moving Castle (2004) Porco Rosso (1992) My Neighbor Totoro (1988)
The Earth naturally radiates negative (oxygen) ions, which are beneficial for your body. Why are negative ions so important? They clean the air and are the key to grounding.
How you can bring this energy into your home:
- For the tech witches, buy a negative ion generator or build one of your own.
- Turn off any unnecessary technology, which create harmful positive ions, and open some windows.
- Plants! Grow them! Hang them everywhere! Not only are you bringing a piece of the Earth in your home, plants help filter the air and make more oxygen.
- Buy a salt lamp! This is the method I have seen the most. Not only are they pretty, Himalayan salt lamps are well known for their cleansing properties.
- Some crystals naturally produce negative ions such as quartz (clear quartz, rose quartz, citrine, amethyst, etc.), tourmaline, and jade.
Now go and invite some good vibes, witches!
I wish you much joy and prosperity!
