First and foremost, every single element has an ability to be used for cleansing and banishing.
Air: Used to literally "blow away" energy
Open your windows
Turn on a fan
Use your breath (there's a reason you sometimes snuff a candle and other times blow it out)
Water:
Running water over an object (make sure this object is safe to do that with, okay? Don't be like the raccoon with the cotton candy)
Ritual baths and showers
Washing/cleaning
Earth:
Salt (again, careful with where you put the salt, but still)
Plants can be used as protective barriers
Burying an object for a period of time before digging it back up and cleaning it off
Certain rocks and crystals
Fire:
To get the obvious out of the way - burning. This does not mean you should commit arson. This is more "burning photographs of past relationships" not "light your ex on fire"
Burning candles
Spirit:
Meditation
Self care as a priority
Cleaning your space regularly
Now, most common forms of cleansing do not use only a single element (especially fire, for obvious reasons). So here are some of the most common and easy ways to practice cleansing in a practical, everyday manner.
Smoke cleansing - combines air, fire, and earth. Practices by burning protective and banishing dried herbs, plants, incense, or wood.
Salt water - combines earth and water. Can be used in either ritual baths or on its own, spread near the borders of a space. But again, careful with where you put salt.
Crystal grid - combines earth and spirit. Create by placing protective crystals in each corner of a space.
Steam cleansing - combines air and water. Use essential oils if you so choose.
Ritual bath or shower - combines water, spirit, and if you want to add bath bombs, salt, or flower petals, earth.
Tea magic - combines water, earth, and (if you inhale the steam) air.
Literal cleaning rituals - combines spirit and any other elements you so choose. Do your laundry, clean your room, declutter what no longer serves you.
A year ago, in February, I was fresh out of university, fresh out of a relationship, feeling lost in the world and disconnected from myself. In need of a path back to myself I devised a challenge, much like something I would now call shadow work.
Here are the questions I asked myself throughout the month of February 2020:
What are my current biggest problems?
What do I already do well?
What things in my life make me feel good and fulfilled?
What do I expect from a romantic relationship?
What would I really want to know that would improve my life?
What do I expect of therapy?
How does laziness affect my job?
What kind of people do I not trust?
Is my sense of self worth dependent on my productivity?
Why am I so interested in sexuality?
What kind of people inspire me?
What have I found out during this challenge already?
What about this challenge is the most difficult for me?
What are all the feelings I have towards my mother?
What are all the feelings I have towards my father?
What is in my power to improve my life?
In what ways do I relax? Do these ways of relaxing actually help?
How can I personally contribute to this world?
Revisited question: What do I expect of a romantic relationship? How do I picture my ideal partner?
Revisited question: What are my current biggest problems?
What is my relationship to the feeling of envy?
What changes am I going through in this time?
What is my goal for this year? Looking back at the end of the year, what would make me say – wow, I’m really proud of myself and my progress?
My strategy was successful and I learned a lot, as well as set a good course for the whole year ahead. In all likelihood I will revisit some of these questions now but since I have achieved a firmer grasp on the concept of shadow work, I know that some things need to be done differently.
I’m excited to walk this path again.

When casting spells you are working with the subconscious mind, the elements, and a higher energy. The Moon is accessed and its transformational powers utilised. So it is always a good idea (with any form of spell casting, working with the moon or not) to make sure you are in a calm and focused state of mind before you begin, and you can do this in many ways, like using meditation. If you are patient, waiting for the correct phase of the Moon, you will enhance the results of your spell casting, and any magickal activity.

hi babes, I’m back! wanted to make a quick post on my manifestation routine and some of the essential steps necessary for the law of attraction to be effective. for those of you who don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about, the loa states that our thoughts, beliefs, and intentions create our reality. there are various methods, of course, but this routine has worked beautifully for me! I’ve manifested an entire business, a dream job, $2k in 24hours, my soul family, & so much more! let’s jump into this shit!
1. get in a high vibrational state of being! what does this mean? it means focus on eliciting positive emotions and feelings at the start of this process. when we raise our vibration, shift our mood, we’re more in alignment with what we desire. in a high vibrational state, you’ll feel bubbly, happy, and excited! do anything that you can to achieve a higher vibration! listen to music, watch some R.IP vine compilations on youtube, dance around your room, etc. do whatever the fuck you gotta do. struggling with depression or anxiety? it’s okay! this state only has to be maintained for a couple of minutes for it to be effective.
2. set your intention! what are you trying to bring into your life? to set your intention, all you have to do is write it or speak it out loud. pro tip: instead of saying ‘I want to manifest xyz’, say ‘I am ready to receive xyz’. the word ‘want’ creates more lack and will keep you in a state of ‘wanting’. another ex: “I am manifesting my perfect partner” vs. “I am going to manifest my perfect partner.
3. visualize your desire manifesting. this is the fun part! vividly imagine and feel what it would be like to hold the desired amount of cash in your hand. what emotions would you feel if you were given what you asked for? being able to truly envision having your desire is going to make it a reality in your mind and put you in alignment to receive it in the physical.
4. detach from the outcome. definitely the part that everyone fucking hates. it’s important to let go of any attachment and trust that the universe will deliver what it is that you’ve asked for. surrender and allow it to unfold. don’t stress about when, where, or how it will manifest. just trust that it will happen. this is the one area where most people get stuck!
5. act as if you already have what you desire. this is also a pretty fun part! how would you feel if you had everything that you wanted? probably pretty fucking fantastic. acting as if sends a message to the universe that you are ready.
6. & finally, take action! sometimes the universe will just drop blessings right in front of us, yes, but not always. you’re probably not going to find the love of your life if you spend all day in your house. you’re not going to become a famous actress if you don’t get up and audition! the universe can do so much for us but we also need to work with it. don’t just wait around for something to happen. search and be open to receiving the opportunities that you ask for.

We can’t ask everyone and make sure you are old enough to ask for a reading or that you aren’t gonna hurt yourself after you get our reading. Everyone has their own triggers and their own mental state . So make sure before you ask for a reading to check with yourself if : you are mentally ok with hearing something you might not like and second you are mature enough to not have a harmful reaction towards yourself or other .
