He also hates Reiner with all of himself because he died after wanting to make sure Eriner is safe, thus leaving Raina alone, do you think a real friend would do such a thing huh??? Hertholdt Boover is just THAT selfish and sociopathic. He is also a Nazi, because I said so! I hate him so much, I hope @aleja-gwiazd-biegniemy WILL NOT post any great drawing with him or I will spontaneously combust UGHHH >:C

Inktober 2024 - Horizon

I literally forgot to post this drawing, what.

The lore is that I typed “horizon” into Google to have some nice pictures as a reference, and the first thing that popped up for me was the manhwa "The Horizon", because Google knows I'm a stupid comics lover xDD Well, and I was hit with sadness, because it's a sad story. So I decided to include it in a drawing xD Also this silly smiling sun, because I got attached to it.

I truly recommend "The Horizon", it's great, my life is destroyed <3 Drawing unsponsored (but it should tbh)

I honestly can't remember if there was this scene in the anime, but in the manga, when they clear Trost of corpses, Annie walks among the bodies of dead comrades and apologizes to them. Look at that girl's face and try to tell me she doesn't care.

Yeah, I remember the whole situation with the Female Titan trying to capture Eren, where she spins one Scout like a damn yo-yo. What the hell was that. But honestly, all she wanted was to go home to her father, and after everything that happened to her, I understand why she was so ruthless in her quest to get Eren. She CAN be cruel. But, like, what were the other choices?

She is not heartless, she regrets, she cares. She just can't afford to let her emotions get in the way of returning home :C

I still can’t believe that there are some people around today who think Annie is soulless and doesn’t care for who she kills. Now it might be half-true, but aren’t you forgetting this scene with poor Marco?

This is her face when Reiner told her that they had to kill him for overhearing their secret.

She also went against having to be forced to take away Marco’s gear, and yes, she did so anyway because Reiner mentioned her father. But as you can see, her expression doesn’t lie.

Not only that, but she directly stared right at Marco’s crying eyes, pleading for her to stop, and she’s just as upset as he was.

(I hate seeing my boy like this 😭)

In this shot below, you can tell she was on the brink of tears having to watch him get grabbed and eaten by the upcoming titan, and to make it worse, she had a nightmare about this very moment.

Side note: Bertholdt looks very sad as well; not counting Reiner since he switched personalities.

So for anyone who continues to say Annie has no heart, I will like this to be reminder that it’s certainly not true and that she does have a small circle for those who grew on her.

But like, Levi has feelings for Erwin, and Moblit has feelings for Hange, but they both know they won't be loved by them in the way they want to be, so they keep it to themselves. But SOMEHOW (maybe during their time at the bar, when tipsy Moblit gets too talkative) they find out about their unrequited loves and how much it hurts them to be around the person they love but can't hug them, touch them, tell them they love them, and... I don't know, after a while their sad confessions turn into something more physical, but it's a substitute. Not in a, y'know, sexual way, just… closeness. Closeness, touch, words, time spent together, during which they close their eyes and think about someone else. It's quiet and shy, immersing oneself in fantasy with every tender gesture and word. It's comforting to have someone who understands and to allow someone to be understood in this difficult situation. It feels good to be able to pretend that you are the only one for someone so dear to you. But both of them know deep down that it's not right.

And maybe, at the end of the day, they'll end it without regret, not bringing it up again, just sweet memories of pretend affection.

Or maybe, at some point, Levi will discover that his thoughts don't wander to Erwin when Moblit embraces him, and Moblit will discover that Levi's closeness doesn't make him think of Hange.

Maybe, at some point, they'll realize that they're thinking about each other, not about the people they love who will never be theirs. Something is changing, something is growing. It's a little different and uncertain. It's still quiet and shy.

But now it's also genuine.
