I’m really disappointed in VAs who haven’t spoken out against basic issues.

Like, it’s truly not that difficult to say “genocide bad” or put a watermelon emoji in your bio.

Or like, idfk, just saying shit like “women should have the right to choose” or smt.

But no, that’s just too hard for some of y’all. Obviously, you’re not obligated to do that, but if you don’t do that, it gives me a perfect image of what kind of person you are.

It’s not gonna “ruin your reputation” if you just say that women should have the right to their own bodies, that genocide is bad, and trans people should be able to express their gender, etc. Like, especially after the election, it has become ten times more important to say those things.

I don’t care if you have a “reputation”, you speak into a microphone and post that on YouTube, I doubt you have a massive reputation that you need to uphold.

I don’t know if I’m sounding too pushy, either way, I don’t care. If you don’t speak out, I’m not going to give you my time.

I've been relistening to a lot of Pebbles ASMR stuff lately and he's probably one of my favorite audio roleplayers that I never get tired of listening too. He's genuinely a really great voice actor, writer and storyteller. But what I think what hooked me to his videos is his comedic timing in his audios especially in his story driven audios.

For example his SuperVillain Boyfriend series, The Librarian, and Tsundere Boss ones had moments where you had to hold back your laughter cause it had PERFECT timing for shenanigans to happen. And it's not just him too! I could give a good list of audio rpers that genuinely make me laugh, a great example is Scythe Audios. His comedy in his writing cracks me up whenever I listen to his stuff! JayAshBran too, she's really skilled in knowing how to land a line perfectly on a cartoonish level and I absolutely fucking love that!

I love the type of story driven audio rps that you can just have a good laugh at while listening to it. I feel like more people should incorporate that into their audios because it's a lot more enjoyable than the usual waves of sterotypical boyfriend/girlfriend audio rps. Like I kid you not, some of these audios genuinely have me grinning like a fucking idiot and it makes my day.

I want audio roleplays to be main stream SO BAD, like I wanna look up on YouTube “Audio roleplays analysis” and have like a million videos come up, I want their to be so many fan theories if fills my feed, I want everybody talking about the latest installment of whatever they have been listening to, I want to be able to mention something about a series to a friend and then have even the faintest clue of what I’m talking about😭there needs to be like a turn around on how the community is viewed so bad
