so, I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series. I just watched the films for the first time, and I keep seeing things that are like, "The books are better! Ginny has a personality! Harry is definitely at least bisexual!"

And also, you know, I'm writing a fanfic. But that's another thing.

I'm basically doing an in-depth re-read for character study purposes.

yet another post abt my mom

My mother used to attend Trinity University in Chicago, Illinois. In her last semester living there, she and her roomate, Michelle, decided to break all (most of) the rules.

One of these rules was "Do not steal."

So, she and her friend decided to be ridiculous. They brought my mom's Honda Accord to the campus, grabbed a bench, put it in the car, and drove away.

To this day, we still have that bench. It sat on my front porch until last night, when my mom and I were coming back to that house to get my supplies for fending off Satan's Waterfall. She was reminiscing, and decided to 'steal' the bench from my dad.

She put it in the backseat. I didn't even notice it. So this morning/afternoon/idk, she tells me this story, and shows me the bench, sitting on my grandparents' front patio.

I'm not sure how to feel, honestly. I'm conflicted between finding it hilarious and being impressed.

Hooooooo. This is a very loaded question. I'll try to simplify as much as I can, though.

So there are two opinions on this. The Technically Correct But Still Bigoted Opinion and the Woke Opinion.

The Technically Correct But Still Bigoted Opinion is that no, Frogs and Toads should not mate because they are different species (the reason it's Bigoted is because most Frogs of this opinion are racist and classist, meaning they think that Frogs should be the dominant amphibian class).

The Woke Opinion is that Frogs and Toads can and should mate because diversity. And it doesn't make weird hybrid species things.

I personally prefer the Woke Opinion, but it's a divided issue.
