i think it’s funny that, in the duffers’ apparently limited capacity for proper inter-volume continuity, they chose the stancy renaissance. what a choice! not el’s feelings of powerless inadequacy, not the integral traits of several characters, not even the fucking cop car tire-slashing incident got that treatment. stancy, of all things, was just that important. in case it’s not clear i am being so sarcastic right now i think it was so dumb and stancy is so unimportant and i think the duffers were being incredibly idiotic idiots. blechhhh

coulda just left it at hate seeing rich people tbh 

haaaaate seeing rich ppl mansions that are so modern and minimal and severe like an art museum or smth…like hello ur in the perfect situation to build the coziest most ethereal home full of unique treasures and ultimate comfort. instead u buy beds and couches that look like they’re from roblox. anyways

Ok so I’ve been thing more and more about Ruby Redfish movies. So basically throughout the series (six books + the survival guide but it wouldn’t get a movie) everything happens within one year. If there were to be six/seven movies, that wouldn’t be possible as filming + editing + production takes quite a long time so here is what I would do if I were able to help out with movies:

1: Every two books a year would go by. Actors a lot of the time have huge age gaps with their characters, i’ve seen some be 10-15 years older, and depending on their face shape & makeup they can look quite convincing.

So it would start with LIME and TYLB with Ruby being 13, then CYD and FTF with her being 14, and PYP and BAYD with her being fifteen.

If she was aged up every year she’d be 18 which is way to old for the story, but i recon 15 would work.

Who I’d cast

I’m not going to go into my full fancast list (I’ll save it for another post), however I think it would be really cool if all the children were unknown actors, as there are so many undiscovered actors out there who this would be an incredible breakthrough for. I would also cast well know actors as the adults

The fandom bug has struck again and Ruby Redfort is the unfortunate victim. Obviously, since my character preferences are basically Adopt an Asshole™️, I latched onto the good ol' Silent G

my headcannon for him basically revolves around him being workplace asshole by day and Anxious Gay by night. A lot of his behaviour points towards him being really insecure, so I figured it would be fun to play around with that and explore his character a bit

21) When do you think they were at their happiest? I think when she's got something to focus on, and isn't just poking around for some kinda trouble. Like when she's learning to parkour, or skateboard, and especially when she's figuring out a new code. but also when she's with her friends, doing regular 13 y/o stuff like planning halloween costumes, and eating donuts.

25) When do you think they acted the most ooc? When she was talking to/following around Beetle, before he damaged Clancy's bike. Idk, everytime I get to that bit in the book I'm confused as to why it's there, I just feel like it makes no sense as to why she'd actually talk to this rando guy yk. OH and the bit where she gets into an actauly fistfight with Del, against Vapona. wtf was that???
