these last few days have been interesting to say the least, and the days before hat were also crazy as heck. but today's Friday, I did some stuff, and I'm happy with how today went.

What I Accomplished πŸ¦‡

30min trial italki Japanese lesson (loved the teacher so much I booked another lesson right after for the 18th of October)

studied Japanese for 56min today

made japanese flashcards based on the vocabulary from Genki I Chapter 1

studied for the TEAS Exam for 41min (mainly science and english/language stuff)

washed dishes

got a tattoo!!!! my 4th one and I love it

talked to my dad a couple times

ordered pizza + foods and ate wonderfully

Random Stuff For Today 🌿

I dyed my hair red yesterday but the red mainly took to the parts that were already purple BUT my hair looks super cool now

the tattoo hurt a little bit but the artist was totally awesome and I definitely want to go to him for my next tattoo if this one heals well

I ordered way too much today but I have so many leftover for this week that I'm cool with it

I seriously wish I had all the money to purchase like, an italki package of lessons cause ahhh I love my kanguage lessons so much

pretty chill day honestly

Yesterday (Friday) was a really decent day, like I actually don't think I have much complain about honestly. I love days like that.

πŸ‹β€β™€οΈ Physical Health

47 minutes of weighting (glute day #2)

3 min on the stairmaster after hitting glutes

walked to school + home

had over 17k steps for the day

drank a liter of essentia electrolyte water

I tried oxyshred for the first time (not bad, but I don't know if I actually like the flavor I got). It definitely made me sweat a bit more than usual and gave me some good energy)

🧠 Mental Health

I answered a journal prompt "What do I need more of this next month" and the answer was consistency and discipline as I believe those go hand in hand together

❀️ Emotional Health

I have no idea what I did for my emotional health yesterday other then that I had a really good day overall

πŸ“š Intellectual Health

completed and submitted my final paper for Psyc

completed my makeup lab for anatomy

went to my psyc lab, found out more info for the psyc final

🏘 Adulting

talked to my dad on the phone for a bit

zoom called my boyfriend

took care of all the clean laundry (there was....a lot)

worked a 7 hour shift at my job

found out more about applying for unemployment + using my remaining vacation hours

πŸ₯° Self Love/Care

morning skincare

made my bed

showered

ate some good healthy food that nourished me

treated myself to a fairlife protein shake (those are my little treats after a weight lifting day)

Overall, it was a really productive, happy day for me. I love days like that so much. felt like a really long day but I am honestly not complaining, I loved it.

please don't judge me

I know I just started my 90 day challenge and it's been pretty fun, but I keep not meeting all my goals and it's causing me to be more down on myself which was NOT what I wanted from this challenge.

I've decided to alter the challenge. Instead of posting specific goals, I will update every night with what I have accomplished during the day. It will still be within my specific categories, but having specific goals that I'm not meeting just makes me feel guilty and bad about myself, even though I know rest and recovery is necessary.

So, tonight's update will be just what I've accomplished today, no adherence to the previous goals I had set. (well, some adherence as I was trying to direct my actions to meet some of those goals).

I feel like this will be better for my productivity and mental health overall, and leave me feeling more proud of my accomplishments instead of more down because of what I "didn't accomplish".

What a good day! I swear I hadn't had a day so good in so long, but this day was absolutely amazing!

🩷 What I Accomplished Today:

reviewed chapters 8 and 9 of Spanish on Busuu

Studied my Spanish flashcards 1x all the way through

listened to three podcast episodes in spanish

read a chapter of Deep Work, the last chapter of Atomic Habits, and a section from 101 Essays to Change The Way You Think

discovered and listened to "A Better You" podcast by Fernanada Raamirez

Went to my make up chemistry lab

took a make up psyc quiz

met with my psych doctor

had a therapy session

had a meeting with the director of the Dietetic program for my university

filled out an application to become an SI instructor (just not to turn it in to the head SI guy now)

Caught up on my chemistry notes

opened a savings account for my university

searched for nearby places to rent/live (I'm moving out soon, sometime this year)

🩷 What Went Good Today:

Got encouraged to add a 2nd major in Finance

Created a list/schedule of classes for next semester that I'm really excited about

learned about other on-campus job opportunities in case SI doesn't work out

felt confident about my psyc quiz after I took it

the director of the Dietetic program was the absolute sweetest and most helpful, and I am so glad I met with her because she answered all of my questions and gave me some great encouragement

finished my chem lab very quickly

didn't need extra money to open a savings account so a savings account got opened

🩷 What Could Have Gone Better:

I felt like I bugged my dad a lot, but I was just so excited to tell him how good everything was going

Need to re evaluate how much I can realistically save per paycheck at the moment for my housing situation AND the college savings account

got a bit emotional with my boyfriend over some past stuff

did not eat the best or the healthiest

psych doc ordered an EKG because she is concerned that I may have an arrhythmia (had an EKG done in the past for the same reason, but was told it was because of my exercise habits at the time ~4 years ago) and having an arrhythmia will limit the mental health medication I am able to take

Overall, not a bad day whatsoever! I was in a really good mood all day because of how awesome everything was and I'm super grateful that I was able to have such a good day!

Hi, I had a maybe silly question, I’m a guy, but I find the that girl/clean girl aesthetic very appealing, as I struggle with executive functioning and self care as I have ADHD and autism. Unfortunately, most subcultures geared towards men that focus on similar things to these goals also have a misogynistic edge to them. I was wondering if you knew if there was similar subculture or hashtag that I would be welcome in? Is there a clean boy/that boy or gender neutral aesthetic? I’m a bit worried about intruding on a woman-centered space since so many other spaces cater to men.

I personally don’t know of any hashtag or subculture that caters to the β€œthat boy/clean boy” aesthetic, but I am hoping anyone who’s sees this can maybe reblog or comment and help us find something like that for you! i will say, there is no harm in identifying with or borrowing from the that girl/clean girl aesthetic if you find ways to incorporate it into your life! I believe the values of these aesthetics are useful for anyone regardless of gender! i do understand wanting to find that community that you can mesh with that has the same aesthetic and values, tho.

if anyone knows of a hashtag or somewhere he can find his space in the that boy, clean boy aesthetic, please comment! If you don’t know of anything, please reblog so we can find that community for him!

Thursday was a meh kinda day. It was a long day, honestly. I ended the day, so so tired. But it wasn't a bad day.

Today was such a good day despite the little bit of anxiety I felt before I zoomed my boyfriend. I was productive today, more than I've been in a while, and I'm feeling good!

bought some stuff I needed from grocery store

did my morning skincare

took a nice shower and washed my hair

cleaned around the hotel room

I feel like that's a good amount of stuff to have gotten done yesterday, given I really wasn't feeling like doing much. Work had been so tiring lately, I'm almost glad the semester is ending because of the toll that work is taking on me physically now. On the bright side, I should be getting promoted in April, so hopefully, things ease up once that happens.

I want to start studying languages again, and of course I'm stuck between my favorite three: Spanish, Korean, or Japanese. I have lots of Japanese study resources, I live in a high population of Spanish speakers, and I listen to lots of music and media in Korean. Which one(s) do I start with to ease back into it? Pick one? All three? Help a girl out!!
