please don't judge me
I know I just started my 90 day challenge and it's been pretty fun, but I keep not meeting all my goals and it's causing me to be more down on myself which was NOT what I wanted from this challenge.
I've decided to alter the challenge. Instead of posting specific goals, I will update every night with what I have accomplished during the day. It will still be within my specific categories, but having specific goals that I'm not meeting just makes me feel guilty and bad about myself, even though I know rest and recovery is necessary.
So, tonight's update will be just what I've accomplished today, no adherence to the previous goals I had set. (well, some adherence as I was trying to direct my actions to meet some of those goals).
I feel like this will be better for my productivity and mental health overall, and leave me feeling more proud of my accomplishments instead of more down because of what I "didn't accomplish".
til later, lovelies π©·
I haven't posted challenge updates in a few days and it's because I've been preparing for the hotel with my boyfriend who will be here tomorrow. I am putting a pause on this challenge til January 2nd. I will resume updates then.
see you lovelies in the new year π©·
I'd love it if you guys can vote and help me stop being indecisive lol !! much love π©·π©·
So I am trying to decide if I should start incorporating fitness classes into my routine and I'm having some trouble making a couple of decisions! So I thought I'd turn to my beautiful community and get some help!
My options are:
start yoga at home and pilates at a studio
start pilates at home and join a yoga studio
do only pilates at a studio
do only yoga at a studio
join both a yoga studio and pilates studio
there's not a lot of places that offer both pilates and yoga in my town but I really want to diversify some of my workouts so I don't get bored and can meet all of my fitness goals too!
Let me know what you guys suggest and if you can, leave some comments with your experience with pilates or yoga studios! Please keep in mind I am a plus sized girly, so I'm a little anxious about group fitness but I think it'd be super beneficial!

What's The Best Way To Split Up Language Learning When Learning 2+ Languages At The Same Time?
For example, I'm currently studying Spanish and Korean and will be re adding Japanese in a few months. I currently try to do specific days for specific languages but find myself doing a little of both a day.
feel free to send me messsages about anything I have posted and keep in mind I will be uploading more things soon! Will open up to worldwide shipping if necessary!
thank you lovelies π©·
Mini Check In August 19, 2023 π
So I haven't gotten tested because it's the weekend for me, but based on my current symptoms, there's a good chance I have the vid-19. Which is really not fun, but at least I've been dealing with it a bit. I left work early on Friday and am not able to work today thru Monday, which could potentially cost me my job, but fingers crossed.
I am currently looking to apply for a different job on my university campus, and I already know I'll get the job after I apply (my way of manifesting, lol). It'll be nice to do something a little different than my current job, for sure.
I'm going to try to get back to my regularly scheduled posts and routines as soon as I find myself in better health. I feel bad not posting, but I've also been resting a ton to try and heal faster. But yeah, I currently feel like -12/10 in gems of physical health.
Fingers crossed, I'm better by Tuesday! I have my first cooking class on Tuesday evening, so hopefully I am better and can attend because the professor for that class is amazing!
Also, thank you guys for 150+ followers! Just a few weeks ago, when I started taking my blog seriously, I only had 7 followers so having over 150 now is incredible! I appreciate all of you so much <333
That's all for today! Til next time, lovelies!! π©·
Language Learning Goals π
because Iβm just starting out trying to re learn and familiarize myself with the Japanese language again, it was hard for me to think of current goals I might want to achieve, and what time frame Iβd want to achieve them in. I think I will begin posting a monthly goals list because as I learn more of the language, my goals are definitely going to change. Right now I have my long term goals for Japanese and then some short term daily/monthly goals!
conversational fluency - I want to be able to have comprehensible conversations with native Japanese speakers, and be able to understand what they say and also be able to speak the language myself
understand Japanese media - I want to be able to listen to music and watch Japanese YouTubers and Anime without subtitles
understand spoken/written Japanese - again, I want to be able to know what other people are saying in this beautiful language and also be able to read it to some extent.
My main goals long term are to travel to different parts of Japan in the coming future so being able to speak, understand, and read japanese are my biggest concerns but Iβd also like to have that knowledge of writing the characters and knowing proper stroke order too, just for fun and education!
Use one type of media as a passive learning tool (music, tv shows, YouTube, anime)
Study Flashcards 2-3 times (currently using my hiragana Flashcards I made on Anki)
Minimum of 2 Duolingo lessons
Practice writing the characters in an app (again, currently re learning hiragana)
1 other app lesson used as a supplemental learning tool (renshuu, Bunpo, LingoDeer, drops, etc)
My daily goals are a bit broad as this is typically what I want to do on a day to day basis for about a month of two, and then I will incorporate using textbooks, workbooks, notebooks, and really dive into the self studying and learning more structurally.
Memorize hiragana characters
Begin learning basic vocabulary (~30 vocabulary words by end of month)
Begin studying katakana characters (make Flashcards, use apps, etc)
Practicing speaking and pronunciation skills (shadow speak: use YouTube and some tv shows)
Practice realistic listening skills (YouTube videos, tv shows, anime)
Purchase Genki I and Genki II workbook and textbook + Answer Key and chart bundle
Kept a minimum of a 7 - 10 day streak on Duolingo
Joined Japanese club at my university
These are my current goals for the month of September! As the weeks continue, i will assess my progress and build new monthly goals depending on my current progress levels. Iβm really excited to be doing this and sharing this journey with everyone. The biggest thing about why I made this blog the way I did was to keep myself accountable for my goals and that is exactly what I plan on doing; reaching my goals!
I so deeply appreciate the encouragement and support you all show me on a consistent basis! It means so much to have this community to keep me accountable and just help keep me on track with my goals but also remind me to be kind to myself! You guys are absolutely amazing <3
Im gonna post a combined daily update for today and yesterday later tonight!
Til next time, lovelies π©·π€
***also, wanted to mention, none of the pictures I use are my own!!! I get them from Pinterest but I use them in my posts to keep me motivated to make my space and aesthetic in real life as similar as possible!
Hi, I had a maybe silly question, Iβm a guy, but I find the that girl/clean girl aesthetic very appealing, as I struggle with executive functioning and self care as I have ADHD and autism. Unfortunately, most subcultures geared towards men that focus on similar things to these goals also have a misogynistic edge to them. I was wondering if you knew if there was similar subculture or hashtag that I would be welcome in? Is there a clean boy/that boy or gender neutral aesthetic? Iβm a bit worried about intruding on a woman-centered space since so many other spaces cater to men.
hi there!
I personally donβt know of any hashtag or subculture that caters to the βthat boy/clean boyβ aesthetic, but I am hoping anyone whoβs sees this can maybe reblog or comment and help us find something like that for you! i will say, there is no harm in identifying with or borrowing from the that girl/clean girl aesthetic if you find ways to incorporate it into your life! I believe the values of these aesthetics are useful for anyone regardless of gender! i do understand wanting to find that community that you can mesh with that has the same aesthetic and values, tho.
if anyone knows of a hashtag or somewhere he can find his space in the that boy, clean boy aesthetic, please comment! If you donβt know of anything, please reblog so we can find that community for him!
Hey Lovelies <3
I made a side blog that focuses more on my health and fitness. I feel like trying to cram everything into one blog was not working for me so having my lifestyle/hobbies/student life separate from my health and fitness stuff will be beneficial!
If you prefer more od my health and fitness content or wanna follow me along my health journal, feel free to follow my 2nd blog! it's @ros3ybabes
thank you!
