Though I based this on an episode but when I couldn’t find it, I realised the idea probably had roots in fan-fiction… It's been a while since I listened to some good fan-fiction…
Can’t say the weekend at Comic Con was the best weekend of my life but it had its moments. One highlight was seeing all the cosplay. Got a photo with some fellow Hufflepuffs, got a selfie with my favourite Doctor, stood behind a Newt in line and never saw him again so sadly no photo there. But I also saw a lot of young girls dressed up as Rey. These dedicated homemade costumes.
I’m not really the biggest Sequel-fan but after years of hate and negativity and toxicity online, it was fresh to see in person that these new films have their own fans. These films which for so long have been associated with such negativity and conflict is given some love as well.
Look at him go! This was done just after my Hammond actually but been postponed so many times for other stuff. Wanted it to feel grounded, touchable. A real suit with an awkward mask and big gloves. Focus less on the hero and more on the story of the angsty kid with access to his aunt’s sewing machine, ready to take on the world.
Also, it happens to be my Birthday. Yay, go me.

Just got home from Comic Con where I listened to my favorite swedish artist, a DC comic-artist panel and got a free poster from the DC Editor-in-chief. And also bought a Steve Ditko-collection right after celebrating his birthday so that was fitting.
Just a quick Happy Birthday to comic legend Steve Ditko before taking the train to… Comic Con!

Didn’t really know what to do, tried a realistic Mickey Mouse but didn’t end up as creepy as I hoped for.
Maybe something for Snowwhite but knew it would just be a lesser good version of a poster Alex Ross did once.

I love these movies so much and thank you Disney, despite your many flaws, for creating my and many others’ childhoods!
Bittersweetness
Last planned Life is Strange for a while Fitting it would be the ending I went into it with not liking Chloe that much and ended actually having a difficult time with who to sacrifice (or whom? is this a "whom"-moment? We never mentioned whom in english class)
World Mental Health Day!
Mental Health has become a larger life issue for me than I expected. (Life issue? Life focus? Might not be the right word, there is a word for it…)
I have struggled with mental health, I have friends that do, family that does. I have social anxieties and panic attacks and days it’s hard to get my foot out of the door and it’s important to me to work on myself and try to help everyone around me in every way I can. And it had led to periods of loneliness and dropping out of university and problems with job-hunting. But I also read psychology in my last year of high school and a lot of articles about everything between earth and the sky and it really helped me overcome a lot of old obstacles.
And I love it when fiction handles mental health. The sole reason I like Miraculous so much is that they handle anxiety, panic attacks and stress. Big reason I love Life is Strange so much is Kate Marsh and the effects of bullying and hopelessness. Big reason I like MCU Spider-Man is Mysterio, his special kind of brutality, mind games and effects of his lies on Peter’s life and mental health. Same with RDJ’s Tony Stark or Anakin Skywalker or really any famously unhealthy fictional character.
So yeah, a big part of fiction is escapism and to get away from stuff, but also fun when they handle it and helps me to easier explain and understand my mental stuff.
The Flash 9 Year Anniversary

What is this? Me doing fan-art of something other than the first Life is Strange?? The… third? Fourth? How do you count them? It’s not Max, that I can say.
My sister has been letting me play True Colors on her PS and I enjoyed it. Finished the first chapter today. I will forever miss Gabe.
I will try to draw more related to True Colors as I keep on playing but because I play when I visit my sister, my gaming-sessions will be shorter and further between so who knows when the next time will be that I get an idea for this game.
Part of me being a weird kid. Not only did I watch Hammond Spider-Man, at the time of the release of The Dark Knight with Chrisitan Bale and Heath Ledger, I was head over heels for Adam West… When I saw Affleck being an absolute force of nature, I said to myself… he’s cool but he’s not West. Even when I saw Pattinson, my personal favorite (live action) Batman-film, I said… Damn, it was almost as good as West.
Alright, kidding. I don’t remember ever comparing Affleck to West but West was my first love and my only love. My idea, understanding of the character and interest in Batman all grew out of watching Adam West and Burt Ward gliding down poles, running around with bombs and decode the most complicated of riddles, all while still informing the importance of good grammar.
Miss you, West.
This was originally planned for the Ahsoka-finale but the latest featuring a fight, Vader-appearances and Clone Wars-flashbacks, I had to upload it now and come up with something new for the finale, maybe Ahsoka the White, once I get more to work with.

So me and my sister saw Ladybug and Cat Noir: the MOVIE a few weeks ago, and because I have planned uploads up to next Valentine’s Day, this was the first best opening I could squeeze in an Awakening-thing.
So… I’m not a big musical-fan. Well, I like High School Musical but that’s it. Well, musicals feel like they pause the plot for the characters to sing out the plot but I did kind of like this one and Reaching Out was absolutely my favorite song. Lord, I can’t explain how hard “Is it enough to just be me” hit me.
But short movie-review, see how much I remember… I liked it. It wasn’t perfect, the fact it was a musical didn’t land for me. Marinette’s voice, everyone has already complained about it so I will move on.. I liked the characters a little more here. I liked a Marinette without the creepy obsession, I liked a broody lonely Adrien. Gabriel… I feel like he could have needed another design in the end cause I wasn’t really sure what exactly akumatizing himself meant… he just made the water into lava and I was supposed to accept I guess.. would have loved the S5-design but I know I’m alone in liking that design so… where was Nathalie? She was just there, I don’t remember if she knew or if she just was an assistant this time?
Idk, I should have written this while my memories were fresh, 7/10. Might rewatch. Wasn’t sure about the love-story, at least here it moved faster but didn’t feel it had much ground. At least in the show, it’s this apologetic sweet moment in the rain between Marinette and Adrien and it’s Cat seeing how cool and badass Ladybug is but here it’s just the two of them helping the other from the ground. But… they’re also both like 14 so maybe they don't need more.
