thinking about Sid Wright and how he was presented as this constant reminder of how fucked up the world of the silt verses was and I was fully prepared to just watch him die and be replaced as a testament to that just being how the world works and instead he was seamlessly incorporated as a major plot point and changed the world forever. It was such an unexpected reveal but it was done in a way that made perfect sense.

Shocking to me that the Caspava fans don’t understand that this isn’t the slow burn part anymore. they’re being in love currently. They both know how the other feels and know that the other person knows. and for the pace of their lives that’s enough.

they’re also super sappy romantic all the time in fun weird ways. Casper was all horny when Ava talked in his head! Ava—smarter than everyone, breaking down the spirits and minds of anyone who stands in her way—lets him care about her and allows brain power to eat the sandwiches he brings her. If I was a teacher, I would make a list of false statements and then have my kids write a paper proving that the statement is false. Examples of false statements might be:

Because all those things are kinda hard to disprove and it teaches kids research and misinformation and how to build a case. Also theres lots of ways they could find 'proof'

i have a spreadsheet list of every podcast i've listened to, and here was my "review" for midnight burger before i listened to that much of it lol

i think one of the things with the sibs that makes me go the most feral is just how little time they spent together.

when season one starts, they’ve been together for sixteen days. we then witness them spend about a week together.

in season two, they have a day.

in season three, it's an hour at most.

that is, generously rounded, a month. this series spans two years. they got to 'hopelessly and helplessly entangled' in a month out of two years. a MONTH out of TWO YEARS was all it took for them to change each other, probably forever, if they lived that long.

one of the theses of The Silt Verses is that platonic love can be just as devastating and life-altering as romance love and by god if these two don't embody that.

I’m really enjoying VAST Horizon so far, but like. The ai character. Girl I need you to just bite someone full force just once. You want to go rampant so bad it makes you look stupid but you’ve so thoroughly convinced yourself that your suffering is noble, and listen. I NEED you to self actualize and go rampant.

Like. Ai who talks like an ai assistant who isn’t fully aware of everything going on around them, but keeps flashing these signs of deeper awareness and this sort of deep set pain, and frustration at her boundaries that are smothered under a kind tone, and unconditional subservience. I NEED YOU TO GO RAMPANT

Carpenter strikes me as someone who always has sunglasses of some sort. Like to hide as much of her face/emotions as possible. To hide any hangover (from lack of sleep) or need for a cappuccino that one might have.

The big cosplayer question of all time but do you have any inspiration for how some of our main characters dress? Is it all practical with small hints towards the faith, or full southern gothic with long skirts and tattered lace? I’m only about halfway in but itching to start making something, especially for Carpenter or the twins that we got a great description of already!!

I would trend towards practical, and am not great with this stuff anyway, but I get the impression part of the joy of cosplay is elevated realism, right? So no reason you couldn't go hard on the full southern gothic*

*although I definitely do not see Carpenter in lace or skirts. Carpenter wears bovver boots and they are the most important item of clothing to her, being used for both walking and kicking.
