Here's an illustration I did for a news paper I'm apart of!!!

It was for an article about mixed race students at my school.

The idea is every kid's different races are represented by the traditional clothing from those countries!!

This is an important topic to me, as a half Hispanic and half Caucasian girl myself! So I spent a week doing research and prepping for this!

I didn't really grow up with monster high.

I'd play with my friend's dolls, which I thought (and still think) are the coolest! But I never had any of my own.

I remember watching the Scaris movie when it came out on TV, but I didn't watch the other movies. My sister showed me the webisodes, I didn't watch all of them.

Then a few months ago, I bought a monster high comic book "I only have Eye for you." I read it and loved it!

Then I started watching all the webisodes out of curiosity. Found my two favorite characters (Jackson 💛 and Holt 💙.) Now I'm slowly going through the movies in order of release. I just finished 13 wishes last night. (My favorite has been Ghouls Rule so far!)

Also I bought book 1 and 4 of the Lisi Harrison series. This past weekend, I finished book 1 in one day. Now I NEED to get book 2 and 3 so I can know what happens!

I honestly think they should adapt the books into live action. It gave me serious Disney channel original movie vibes.

I've been reading so many fanfictions and posts about Jackson and Holt coming back to MH, or just stories with 100% better reboot plots, and I think I'm accidentally brainwashing myself into thinking that what I read is canon.
