so glad that i'm not a nervous flier thought i will admit that i was nervous the whole time. i might have gotten the party started a little early with one too many glasses of champagne. i know we are here in paradise but i just have a weird feeling. that isn't going to stop me from enjoying myself so what are the chances you'll join me for a drink? or two? @palvinfms

At this point, the more prepared side of me should have this go bag ready for whatever impromptu trip we're summoned on but even then I fear something will go missed. It's awful, really. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who forgets things sometimes. I'm definitely not upset about having to go shopping, I was planning on doing it anyways, but this just gives me a solidified reason other than 'I wanted to'. And having a shopping buddy is always the best way to do it.

One of my favorite things about going to different places is trying out their cuisine. I'll admit, I've never heard of sago pudding or banana flower salad but both sound so delicious, is this something I should try? Was it good? What else do you have on this bucket list of yours? Ah, I'm in the mood for some thrilling adventure actually. Snorkeling the reefs is something I can't leave without doing for sure, but I saw some people cliff diving and while plummeting to the ocean so high up scares me, it makes me want to do it more.

His voice was as smooth as glass and as sharp as a freshly sharpened kitchen knife, slicing through the air between them as azure hues landed on his figure. A perfect brow arches as he orders the same thing as her, her own smirk teasing on her lips, “Aw, way to hurt my feelings, Nick.” Mentally, Barbara had one foot behind this steel fortress she built around herself when her marriage crumbled apart, and the other out in the open - naive and vulnerable. She hated that part of herself, wished she could just… push her behind that wall. However, recent events kept chipping away at that wall, the facade she had donned on for the last few months slowly coming undone. “I’m starting to think we should all just start a group chat with this entire thing.” Barbara replies with a soft laugh, having noticed the same people she saw in Vegas now here in the Maldives. All for one reason, and one reason only. 

Her attention was momentarily pulled in the direction of the bartender who places their drinks down, giving him a warm smile in thanks as a hand encircled the chilled glass. “Here’s to two weeks of hopefully peaceful paradise.” She lifts her glass in the small toast before taking a drink, the strong liquor sending that delicious burn down her throat. Licking the excess liquor from her lips, Barbara leans her hip against the counter. “We were never really good at small talk, Nick.” The model points out with a small hum, the tiniest bit of smiles playing at the corners of her lips. What was once… light and fun, was now coated in the thickness of the tension with the events that had transpired. And she hated it. She wasn’t a fan of confrontation or tension, and would rather avoid it at all costs quite honestly, but this was something that couldn’t be avoided. This wasn’t something she could just read and toss aside, ignoring it for the rest of the night. “So, are we talking this out like the adults that we are - or are we playing the one sided blame game again?"

while being away from his daughter wasn't something that nick had particuarly enjoyed, in his mind, he knew trips like these were absolutely mandatory knowing the consequences. he hated the fact of lying to his family, friends, and even his ex wife about the places he was going, but it was certainly better than the alternative of losing custody of malti. besides, it wasn't like the maldives was the worst place to be... in fact, it was paradise. although his anxiety was at an all time high knowing the exact reason why he was there, hopefully he could find some time to relax. getting settled in his room, nick fixed his hair in the mirror. his text to barbara earlier in the evening was more than spontaneous as the last conversation they had together wasn't exactly favorable. although, there was something about the woman that nick certainly couldn't deny, and that was his attraction towards her. making his way to the elevator and down to the bar almost immediately barbara's perfected physique caught his eye. "aw, way to hurt my feelings, barb." he said with a smirk painting over his features as he overheard the conversation between her and the bartender. "make that two, please." as he cleared his throat he leaned up against the bar meeting her gaze. "funny meeting you here in paradise, huh?" nick tried to make small talk, not exactly admitting how wrong he was in the first place about their last conversation.

We have two, beautiful hopefully eventful in all the best ways weeks here and I plan to make the best of it. I'm not even sure what I want to do first, other than drinking of course. Pregaming is an unspoken rule. There's snorkeling, which I will never turn down, spas, jet skiing, surfing - I don't even know how to surf that one might be a bad idea. Cliff diving sounds fun too though, I don't know I need to do something adventurous. You in? @isabellakhair

When it comes to packing, I'm a very last minute person. I hate it so much, the packing - not being a last minute packer. But I persevered and even made a list of things to make sure I had. You know what I left without? A bikini. I left without packing a bikini to the Maldives. Which is whatever, that just gives me the opportunity to go shop. Want to come with? @emilystonc

These days, she wasn't exactly thrilled to be receiving texts. They either came from her old manager ( because after recent events you bet your ass Barbara left his agency ) begging she come back, pretending as if nothing happened, or Dylan also asking if they could mend their relationship, or they were from this hacker who seemed to know the very thing Barbara didn't talk about, or Nick - who thought it was her fault that this person knew. She considered leaving him on read after the last batch of texts they exchanged, and she did, for a good twenty minutes before she replied with one simple word; fine. And now, thanks to the hacker here they all were again, this time in the Maldives. And though she was meeting Nick for drinks to talk about things, she wasn't going to piss this vacation away. After getting settled into her room and getting out of her airport clothes and donned on some clothes more fitting for the Maldives, the model made her way to one of the bars where she'd meet the musician to talk things over. Stepping up to the counter, hues met with the bartender as she flashes him a smile, "Whatever your strongest drink is, I'll take it." She had a feeling she was going to need it. @joncs

summer is upon us and i thought that i was going to be taking it easy. however, i just got my training schedule for my new project. i'm super excited to get back into the ring since i used to kick box but i'm nervous! i'm sure i'll be looking like a completely different version of myself within a month or so. @hwstarters

When the super sweet parts come on, I feel as if that entire movie is super sweet, even when it's bordering on painful and angsty. I definitely teared up the first time watching it, not so much the next few times I've seen it with some friends though.

if i ask someone to watch the notebook with me and they not only watch it but talks through it with me, asks questions to understand it better, laughs at the jokes, lets me cry in peace when the super sweet parts come on, and does not fall sleep through it…. they are the one! @hwstarters

The hot steam from the shower relaxed muscles she didn't even know were tense, she needed this. A long, scalding hot shower so she could just be and not wear the mask that she's donned on with just about everyone else. In truth, Barbara hasn't been happy for a long while. Things with her marriage started out great, as any marriage would. But as time went on, she could feel the disconnect between her and Dylan, smiles that didn't reach eyes, going to bed without any 'I love you's.' she was a prisoner in her own marriage and she hated it. So, Barbara sought out the comfort, in whatever form it came in with Nick instead. It was a whirlwind of excitement and fire and not too long after that, Barbara was filing for divorce. Not wanting to stay in a marriage where she was no longer happy. That whirlwind of excitement and fire turned to instant nerves when she found out she was pregnant, the math not giving her a clear answer as to who's baby it was - Nick's or Dylan's. The nerves were the loudest emotion she had during that time, but the small seed of excitement of being a mother was there - until it was ripped away from her, leaving her in a mess of anger and hate like she hasn't felt before. The steam is almost suffocating, but she revels in it - eyes closed as she leans her back against the shower wall. That's when she hears her phone and her jaw locks, he really did have the most awful timing ever didn't he? Pulling back the curtain, Barbara dries her hand on a throw towel before grabbing her phone and swiping up to unlock. So it wasn't Nick - this time at least. She reads the text, then rereads it again, and again almost wishing that it would just disappear. The tears, a mix of sadness at what could of been and anger for what did happen blur her vision as her throat tightens. 'Fuck the fuck off, why don't you?' She sends the quick text before tossing the phone away from her, the device landing with a thud at the bottom of her bathroom door. This charade of pretending to be okay was slowly coming undone and she fucking hated it, she hated herself for everything she lost.

barbara: for you to honestly think that i would say something that would put the custody you have in jeopardy is ridiculous and downright insulting. barbara: i. didn't. say. anything. to anyone. i kept it between us. i don't know how someone would know, let alone if they know about this or if they're talking about something else entirely. oh trust me, that much is clear because you would be looking at all the possibilities instead of immediately blaming me.

nick: you do know that if priyanka finds out about our affair i may lose custody of my daughter? i know you don't know her, but jealousy is an understatement when it comes to her. straight up possession like the fucking exorcist. nick: of course everyone got it... that means that someone talked. and i didn't talk... so you must've had to talk. how else would this mysterious hacker guy know? i'm no bill nye the fucking science guy, but it's SCIENCE, barbie. SCIENCE.

Alright so most of what I've heard, people didn't have that great of a time in Vegas. I need to hear that someone had a great time and when I think great time and Vegas you immediately come to mind, you just seem like that kinda guy. I had a great time, for the most part. having your number leaked is a whole new level of crazy. it's like, one minute you're chillin', and the next, your phone's blowing up like it's the fourth of july. i'm feeling like a detective straight out of a noir film. and i have absolutely no idea what's going on, where to go or what to do. it's like being dropped into the middle of a movie plot with no script to follow. but yeah... vegas wasn't a bad idea, maybe i should thank whoever is pranking me. @hwstarters
