(my eyes aren’t the most reliable, they all kind of look the same except pony because he’s got the fluffy hair) ran back to the table and just started wolfing a bit of the food down before waving goodbye with their mouths full and running off and it was such a curtis brothers thing to do.

Mine just come from the way they are in the book, and think like- oh, yeah they’d definitely do this- for example: I headcanon that the way Sylvia cheated on Dallas, Dallas probably also cheated on Sylvia because when pony and Johnny needed help after killing Bob, pony assumed he was sleeping with a girl when they got to bucks, after dally told him that he had been in the bedroom- to which Dally laughed it off and said “not like that, kid”, implying that he had slept with another girl there before, or that bucks was a common place to do so; that’s how I do it, at least¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is an analysis of a small detail I’ve never heard anyone talk about.

Ponyboy describes himself as having greenish-grey eyes.

At the end of chapter 8 he realizes that Cherry has green eyes.

It’s revealed in such a way that had me interested. (I might be overthinking this but stay with me) I think the fact Ponyboy has greenish-grey eyes that he wishes were more grey shows him wanting to be a greaser, but he has some Soc like qualities to him. This is symbolic of him not being a full on greaser no matter how hard he tries, it’s not who he is. He will always lean towards the Soc side of life.

Dallas Mother-Fucking Tucker Winston and no one can tell, convince, or compel me otherwise I love him, I love his character, I love the way he was in the book, I love his actor in the movie, I love his hair, I love his face, even though to others he looks like- and has the temperament of- an albino sewer rat i love him, I love how he asked if pony was ok after he got jumped, I love the fact that cherry stood her ground against him at the drive in and he stormed off instead of making a scene, I love the way he treated Johnny and how he cared so much about Johnny and looked out for him and pony when they killed Bob, I love how he was shirtless when pony and Johnny found him at bucks, I love when he gave them the money and the gun and the jacket and the church to stay at, I love how he went to go get them after a week and how he had colorless stubble on his face when he got them and called ponyboy sleeping beauty when he woke him up and I love when he saved Johnny from the burning church and burnt his arm the fuck up in the process to save pony and Johnny I love how he threatened to kill pony when he was in the hospital if he ever pulled a stunt like that again and I love how he asked for two-bit’s switchblade and used it to get out of the hospital to fight in the rumble because a rumble wasn’t a rumble without him and how he flipped the soc in the movie and dragged pony into the car to go see Johnny for the last time even though he didn’t want it to be and I love how he said “dammit Johnny…oh dammit Johnny don’t die, please don’t die” and ran out of the room and robbed the gas station and got shot by the cops and how he had a look of grim triumph on his face and how he was dead before he hit the ground so he didn’t have to be in any more pain than he had to be and that he got to be with Johnny in the end and that they were able to watch over ponyboy and the rest of the gang from beyond and I just love Dallas Mother-Fucking Tucker Winston.
