Graveler and golem were quite a challenge to make them look like... rockish... I hope it translates well

I have a personal grudge against Annalise, because she created her house in the spot where I wanted absolutely no villagers, destroyed my paths, killed hybrid flowers, snakes manifested physically in my house... but i still tried my best to draw her nice

why be cruel when you could be cool? 😎

Bellsprout is baby, also I went through so many iterations of Weepinbell it’s not even funny, who knew trying to draw a bell shaped plant was going to be so awkward

After this, I have a new appreciation for bara artists (I mean, I appreciated them way before this, but drawing muscle is haaarrddd)

Alakazam was so OP on the first games, sadly I played on an old emulator that didn’t have cable link so I never had him

the sixth compilation, finally past half of them... I tackled a lot of forgotten villagers in this one, but I balanced with the super cool nintendo character villagers, I have to admit drawing those was a treat in between the other ones... at this point also, I realized I needed to draw way more of the vilagers I don’t like much or the last compilation would only be the obscure ugly ones...

I loved when I played happy home designer and Lottie sometimes would be without makeup and she had tiny eyes, so cute... I had to draw that variation...

gotta say... these spirals were a nightmare to pixel

Frita, here is probably the most difficult villager to interpret in these tiny pixels, hope I didn’t disappoint

meowth is definitely my favourite gen 1 pokemon, and of course it was team rocket meowth who did that to me

dugtrio was my most powerful pokemon when I fist played pokemon, I probably passed the whole elite four spamming dig

I liked venonat when I was a kid because I had a crush on Tracey, but tbh, poison types are just not for me

Ahhh, a Nintendo villager thematic post... this was so fun to draw, it was really a treat when I saw these guys, I hope there’s more villagers inspired in other games in the future, I really liked them

When I was a kid I didn’t understand why they would give a fleshy flower to vileplume? and why do they say it’s stinky? it didn’t make any sense until I saw raflesias on animal crossing

so... the colors may look sort of off, but that’s because I was trying to have a restricted palette across all of them, I guess it will make sense when you see them all together

Apple is just the most adorable hamster, and sly was super fun to draw

I tried to make them squished and stretched, but it didn’t work that well for jigglypuff, of well...

I’m glad vulpix got a resurgence thanks to its alolan form, but imho, this fire baby is as cute as the icey baby

this is the fifth compilation, I’m pretty proud of the improvement here, it’s not perfect but I could definitely see I was getting a bit better, I feel it’s like, consistently less bad pixels, idk...

I’m almost halfway uploading the animal crossing pixels now, 5 more compilations to go

I have to beg nintendo to please put Petunia (the rhino) back in the games, with a namechange so Petunia the cow doesn’t get sad though, she is super cute
