After This, I Have A New Appreciation For Bara Artists (I Mean, I Appreciated Them Way Before This, But

The other day I had a dream in which Thomas Gibson was a shopkeeper and I was little (10 years old or so) so I didn't knew what I wanted and was troublesome in general, and he treated me so kindly that I woke up feeling beautiful, I can't remember the entire conversation, but I'm very self conscious about everything and I remember he praised my glasses and told me I looked cute with them.

Mr. Gibson, if you ever read this, please don't think I'm weird or creepy, lol. My dreams are like that.

Soooo... I decided that instead of playing 2ne1's ugly and perfume's one room disco to remind me of how forever alone and unwanted I am on valentine (which is funny because I've never had a proper valentine day with all the flowery chocolatey and loveydovey stuff even when I wasn't single and miserable), I should do something to keep the creative juices flowing, so I invented the moe week which will last all this week. Feel free to join and spread to the world if you're so inclined, it's kinda fun, the only things I'll do will be draw/write something about soem characters I think are moe, simple enough

So here I start with my first moe crush... Quatre from gundam wing, unlike all the other characters I liked before, Quatre was not manly, nor strong nor anything I like in a guy, he was in fact so fragile and tiny and had such a huge responsability that I felt all the motherly love in the world for him... I didn't knew about moe then, but I liked him a lot...

I also did this yesterday and my computer was being a little shit and I couldn't upload it... never again I try to pixel something so big... not even my babus... this took like 15 hours and I don't even think it's finished but I won't work on this anymore, so, enjoy(??)

Do you think that someone could learn how to be good at art? Or is it something you're born with?

I believe everyone who perseveres can draw good, BUT there are some people who has skills that help them become better quicker... and what are those skill exactly? well, first of all it's the ability to not over-frustrate yourself or the ability to turn that frustration into fuel to be better... like Jake from adventure time said "Dude, sucking at something is the first step to become sorta good at something" if you give yourself permission to suck at first, you can see what's wrong with what you did and you won't make those mistakes again (or at least you'll be cool when you see it's not as easy as it looks like)and I kinda lost the train of thoughts I was having, so I'll just list a bunch of stuff I think will lead to a better understanding of art and could eventually make you a better artist.Be exposed to a lot of different stuff, you'll start finding beauty in a lot of things and mistakes in others, you'll soon find out what you want to reach... be observant with what you like and apply it to what you're doing... ask yourself why do you like the things you like and why do you dislike the things you dislikeDon't be afraid of asking for help, if you can't put your finger on your mistakes, ask someone else for help... if you can't think of anyone, I'm here and I love to talk about this kinda stuff xD Be open to what others have to say... (but obvs ignore everyone calling you poopface) sometimes strangers will give you great adviceOf course, everytime I see a 14 yo who draws good I cry inside a little, but I try to think that they also worked to get where they are, so it's great for them...

in case someone wonders about yuka and chevre's outfits... Yuka is also the name of a member of my fav group, so I did her outfit because I can... and Chevre was my bff's neighbour so I drew her in one of the outfits Bob designed

I just wanted to XD at Anon's ask box question! Sometimes pictures aren't enough for someone to be a moe-blob, but it's how they act! Now for the real answer, thanks a lot :D I'm happy to know I'm not alone thinking Tanaka is incredibly moe, I also thought that anon was silly for thinking only animu schoolgirls can be moe and yes, it's more than looks to make me feel the moe-ness, not that I don't think Tanaka looks adorable, because I think so, but he would be just an average cute looking asian dude if he wasn't as sweet as he is. Thanks for making me feel less alone liking GnT, have a Lum-Tanaka as a token of my feelings

I loved when I played happy home designer and Lottie sometimes would be without makeup and she had tiny eyes, so cute... I had to draw that variation...

Do I lose all my Perfume fan credibility if I confess that I love this song? because I kinda do haha, although I’m really glad this is as close as they got to be a proper idol group, I can’t imagine them being where they are if they took this route...
