AC pixels, the forgotten edition

As my last post was about new villagers this one is about villagers that somehow got forgotten in the newer versions of the game and I think their designs are just too awesome for them to be buried in the older games...

So this is another thing I was working with... I started this to understand how to work on my original mockup, I never worked with tiles and preset palettes and sizes before, so it was quite a challenge. I made a full set of tiles, that are way too boring to show here... but I made all the fruits, all the flowers and their wilted variation, weeds, rafflesias, some normal trees, pines, palms, grass, rock, etc... it was a lot of work... maybe someday I'll work on more full screen compositions, to show all the tiles... but for now, I can show vesta and kabuki, because they're not that boring... idk if I'll keep on doing this though...

Ahh... Squirtle was actually my first starter pokemon the first time I played Pokemon red, his sprite was so endearing that I chose him over Charmander... Also I had looked up Wartortle and I thought it was so cute with the little cheeks and swirly tail, I was a bit disappointed on its sprite though...

So a while ago I started pixeling pokemon, I will be queue a new pokemon pixel art every tuesday, wednesday and saturday (or else I will be uploading first gen all year)

I like to think these are the pokemon to be drawn by the most people (maybe only behind pikachu), on the account that a lot of people start drawing all pokemon in order and drop out sometime, but they’re cute boys, and deserve it honestly

I’m still tripping that they made dragonite bigger than a lighthouse in the anime

these were hard because of how simple they are?? like, how do you make a sphere a little more appealing? but anyways, past 100 pokemon, woohoooo
