Pre-Vampire

Poisoned his father

Kicked a dog

Put a dog in a trash incinerator

Used excessive force while playing rugby

Cheated at boxing

Stole Jonathan’s girlfriend’s first kiss

Had better table manners than Jonathan in an attempt to inherit the Joestar fortune

Tried to poison his adopted father

Turned a vagrant into a murderous undead entity, then allowed him to crumble into dust

Post-Vampire

Ripped off a policeman’s face

Murdered his adopted father

Burned down his adopted father’s house

Turned the drug dealer he bought the poison from into a vampire

Turned Jack the Ripper into a vampire

Attached a man’s head to a dog

Ate so many people he lost count

Turned a bunch of medieval knight corpses into zombies

Smashed a monk

Gave another monk acute gerontophobia

Ruined Jonathan’s honeymoon by bringing a zombie army on board a cruise ship

Murdered Jonathan with eye lasers, severed his head, and sewed his own head on the body to make it his own

Had two coffins on the cruise ship for some reason

Vampire in the 80’s

Made Avdol have gay thoughts

Posed sensually whenever Joseph used Hermit Purple to take a psychograph of him

Hired dozens of assassins to murder his great great grandnephew and his friends

Used his hair to possess two hot-blooded teenagers

He is still eating people during this time

Exploded an old lady

Forced a senator to commit vehicular homicide

Cut his own henchman into hundreds of cubes

Dropped a steamroller on his great great grandnephew

Punched a Japanese high-schooler through the stomach

Sucked his grandnephew’s blood and left him for dead

Things we find out Dio did well after he exploded from being punched really hard in the knee

Used Jonathan’s body to sire children the world over and then never called the moms

Stabbed people with an arrow to see if they’d develop stands

Transformed a father of two into an immortal, inhuman abomination

Seduced a Catholic priest

Laid in bed naked with a Catholic priest while discussing existential nihilist philosophy

Gave Catholic priest a knucklebone from his original body so that it could someday turn into an alien baby with strange powers I don’t quite get this one

Some thoughts on acceleration and force

I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force - first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns. 

Like I’ve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. There’s no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. There’s no “perfect” animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didn’t bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful. 

Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahaha 

Something I was able to crank out for Inscryptober this year! Transformation being a little less obvious in this one. In fact I started off with a different version of this which is much softer XD. But the thought was, a mental transformation of sorts. And giving that part of yourself you hate a chance. Enjoi!

Taking time to affirm and remind yourself of your value is very important.
Sometimes just saying kind things about yourself out loud can make a difference.
