I want to add Good Fentons AU. 1-I am a sucker for those, and 2-THE HILARITY OF IT NOT EVEN BEING A BAD HOUSEHOLD
For the first comment, I like to imagine that after the good reveal, they ended up making up and have gotten to the point where they just joke about Jack & Maddie vivissecting Danny if he does something. Danny started it, the first few times the responses were nervous laughs but now it's just a joke. He actually meant the bedtime thing and he got grounded for a while after that.
I want to add ANOTHER misunderstanding out there too! Hear me out: JL/YJ think that Jack & Maddie are family friends who know of Danny's identity and are actively protecting him from them. YJ/JL needed some experts in ecto entities for one reason or another, so they called in some of the first ectobiologists, the (previously negatively biased but now very accepting plus studying their society) Fenton parents! It was like- midnight when they got there and Danny had to stay away from Amity Park for a few days and forgot to tell them, and they were NOT gonna let that slide.
Meanwhile, Danny was absolutely *not* informed of who they were meeting, as well as not informed on what they were specialists of (YJ/JL didn't tell him in fears of them being disliked thanks to their past bias) so he was in for quite a surprise!
*Jack & Maddie enter the meeting room*
Jack & Maddie:
Danny:
Jack & Maddie: DANN-O! Where have you been?! Your parents have been worried sick, you know?!
Danny: I'M SORRY! I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you guys where I was!
Jack: My boy, you've grown quite forgetful in telling us when you're out ever since we found out!
Maddie: We thought that they caught you, you know? We had to make up excuses as to why you weren't home! If anyone asks, you were having a sleepover at Sam's. She's in on it.
Danny: Alright, alright. Thanks for telling me.
Anyway, they don't clarify their relationship and they didn't realize their wording could be misunderstood. How it's cleared up? I dunno. What shenanigans insue from it? People trying to mae Danny Jack & Maddie's adoptive son and their son "coincidentally" also named Danny's adoptive brother. And them being worried about him accidentally insulting his parents and him being like "Don't talk about them that way!" and Jack & Maddie who are there for some reason being "Sweetie..." cause they know that was true back then snd even if that changed it doesn't mean that things didn't happen and-
TL.DR: Add Good Fenton Parents to it :)
Young Justice is always a little...concerned. With Phantom's living situation. Now they're outright afraid for him, and Bart has decided it's time to Ask An Adult.
It was the little quips. The tiny little things. Stuff that didn't seem to matter to Phantom at all, or appeared to be normal for him, that he didn't realize weren't normal at all.
"Oh, better not hope my mom catches me." "Doing what, staying out past bedtime?" "Nah, using my powers; she'd vivisect me!"
"Another stab wound. Great." "Don't worry Phantom, I've got the med kit-" "Oh, I'm not a baby or anything, I can handle it just fine. Just gimme a sec to take it out."
"My dad has better aim than that." "...Like, when he's hunting, right?" "...At what other times would he be shooting at me?"
"Huh. Not as bad as my parents place. Look; they have a decontamination shower!" "Phantom, this lab has been vandalized to the point of needing a hazmat suit." "Did I stutter?"
Finding out each others identities did nothing to soothe the worry. Tim quietly told the others that every time he tried to run facial recognition, he kept hitting a government firewall he couldn't breach. Phantom never told them his last name, just his first, and 'Danny' is super common.
The thing that really did it though, the thing that made Bart snap and run off to ask Max, was when Danny had a nightmare.
He was talking in his sleep.
"No. Don't-stop. Stoooop. I need...my skin. Mom, no. You can't...peel off...my skin..."
Bart didn't even wait for them to wake Danny up before he was standing in front of Max, talking a mile a minute as he tried to figure out what to do, with Wally staring in horror over a plate of waffles as he computed everything that Bart was saying.

Danny had a dream about his mom and Skulker arguing about how to skin him. He wouldn't really call it a nightmare, because it was just Skulker, but the scariest thing was Skulker insisting to his mom that it was possible to skin him with a potato peeler. Dream mom was arguing that it was not, and that from a scientific standpoint that was a really piss poor way to preserve a specimen.
He hadn't been begging them to stop hurting him, he'd been whining at them to knock it off.
But when he wakes up, it's to a room full of worried friends and an old man who calls himself Max.
"Kid, I think we need to talk."

Anyways with that out of the way.
Ive been thinking about collage Danny AU but instead of going to Gotham he goes to central city (its in Ohio, and The flash is based there). So im thinking that the population over there has a massive percentile of meta humans compared to other cities, because of the particle accelerator incident plus the multiple flash points. All this to say is that the people in Central City are used to civilians having enhanced strength, uncommon dietary restrictions, random outburst of power act.
So Danny just turned 18 comes in to get his degree in biochemical engineering and astronomy, after finishing school with extra credits. He gets a dorm with 2 other people a meta with speeding problems and a normal dude named Sam.
In Dannys perspective he is a very chill roommate, making sure he washes after himself when using the kitchen. Regularly taking out the trash ect..
In his roomates perspective, they think Danny is a paranoid meta who recently escaped a dysfunctional household where he was discriminated for being a meta.
why they have this assumption simple. Danny is clearly malnourished and refuses to actually make a diet he needs. Only eating small servings of food, and trying to save as much as possible for later. He gets paranoid when using moe strength than a human should posses, almost as if he's scared of getting found out. And third of all Danny glows in the dark, quite literally, its not an annoying or absurd amount. Danny glows the same way glow in the dark stars do.
So yeah Dannys roommates know he is a meta but they don't know how they should breach the subject as its clear that Danny is very paranoid of getting found out.
On the other hand Barry Allen is getting worried about his grandsons(bart) roomate, as its very concerning the demeanor he is displaying. Barry intends to investigate the situation more to make sure this isn't a 'broken phone' type of misunderstanding. And if it isn't he is pulling a Bruce.
Meanwhile Danny's on his dormitory roof enjoying the stars, sure there's light pollution but his enhanced vision allows him to see them as if were a clear sky. Not knowing how his life is going to change in the coming weeks.

Writing Prompt: Superheroes/Supervillains AU
X took over city/region/country/whatever, group of surviving heroes, vigilantes and villains who aren't in X's group are working together to fight against X. B villain (which is surprisingly glue to the team and a great asset/leader) manages to take out X, at the cost of being hit by a weapon of X's and getting killed by it,,,or is it? Turns out, X's weapon is an age-regressor, and now B went from (insert adult age) to (insert teenage/child age) with few/no memories of their life after the point they regressed to.
