Hold on
:.|:; yeah it works
How do I do that other one though- ,',|','_ how do I float the commas what ’ FOUND IT ,’,|’,’_ oh and the spaces are to center itttt ,’ ,|’,’_ man this is too much loss for one day
The word loss was banned. I don't remember the consequences for saying/typing/using it, but it was really bad and you weren't allowed to say it. IRL and online. International.
"I am at a :.|:; for words" was a massive meme after the ban got lifted. (It existed for about two days dream time.)
So, I'm about 7 seasons into SG-1, so spoilers for that, but I have a question.
Does anything cool ever happen to Sam the same way it does for the others?
Teal'c is an Alien who switched from having a larva to that injection thing, and he has a son, and he's fighting oppression from the Goa'ulds.
Daniel Jackson was on the first mission to Abydos, got a wife, lost his wife, died, became an ancient, helped O'Neill and Teal'c as an ancient, tried to save Abydos, got turned back to a human, lost most of his memory, all of that
O'Neill lost his son, was also on the first mission I believe, is pretty much the leader of SG-1, and apparently, as I have recently learned, IS THE NEXT STEP IN HUMAN EVOLUTION.
Even the stand-in! Jonas is also an alien, his planet is home to Naquadria, the otherworldly bugs, he was the first to see those, something something the time Carter and O'Neill almost exploded into water, he showed whats-his-face, I believe it was Anubis, where the Naquadria is and massively screwed up via doing so.
What about Carter? She made leaps in Stargate research, sure, but what else? She never resurrected, she's not an alien, she never got Ancient Knowledge bluetoothed into her head, she's just smart.
When Daniel Jackson sees her for the first real time after ascension, it's not emotional or plot important like O'Neill or Teal'c, he addresses her, then addresses Jonas THE SAME WAY, then talks to O'Neill. I recently saw the episode where O'Neill gets cloned, and there's a scene where she's trying to give a lecture on jets to new recruits, and guess what?
The new recruits ignore her completely. They laugh at her. Then FIFTEEN YEAR OLD O'Neill clone comes in and they IMMEDIATELY LISTEN TO HIM? They would sooner listen to a 15 year old boy about these devices than an accomplished scientist and pilot.
For the first few seasons, it seemed like she was always the one coming up with ideas. Until Jonas came along, and suddenly he was the quick thinker. Now I'm not quite sure what role she even plays. She's a good shot with a gun, and with alien tech, but ultimately that's Teal'cs and maybe O'Neills job. She's smart, but Cloneill was able to get back from an Asgard ship easily, and it's not her they named a ship after, it's him.
I just want to know, does Sam Carter ever become plot relevant in the same way the others do, Alien, Ascended, Evolved, or does she just stay being a way for the writers to pen in solutions to episodes that the other characters wouldn't learn, and an occasional love interest for O'Neill? Cuz this is starting to piss me off. The only time I can remember her being relevant was when a Tokra 'possessed' her, and her dad being the Tokra 'representative', but ultimately those matter more for connections than they do for her character.
To be clear, this isn't me criticizing her characterization. She's probably my favorite character on the whole team, and she's written fairly well, I just want to know when, if at all, Sam Carter will have an important impact on the universe like the other characters, outside of one thing that happened before when the show is set.
EP 11 spoilers part 7 Tokyo Debunker
Leo: so Subaru is looking after Bonnie, hm?
Subaru: something just happened
Leo is way too unbothered jeez
See now I know logically that it was the anomaly that killed him and not Alan,
But like a part of me also thinks it might be funny if it just actually was Alan
It's not. But still
My daily question. (s) (Questions) (Sorry I couldn't help myself)
Feel free to put this off or ignore it or whatever else I've been asking a lot of questions-
Do the space creatures (World Eaters, Abyss Children, all of them) have their own language(s)? I believe there's a Bob sketch that has [humpback whale cry] in the corner, so do World Eaters sound like Whales?
If they do, (have languages, I mean) how complex/simple are their languages? Is it like animals, where they just have general sounds that mean stuff like "need food", "come here", "I'm scared", and such, or would it be as complex as human languages?
If they don't, how do they communicate? Or would it be like, since they're so few and far between, they don't need to?
Since the Abyss Children are 'gods', would their language, if they have one, be more complex than World Eater language, (if they have one) and human languages?
Speaking of, how intelligent are the Abyss Children? I've asked about the World Eaters, but are the Abyss Children more "God via being nigh all-powerful" or "God via being nigh omniscient" (by omniscient I just meant incredibly intelligent, not purely all-knowing, though would they be-)
The names! "Ebrietas" "Xerxees" and their son, "Bob". Where did they get their names? Whether behind the scenes or in-universe,
If they do have their own languages; the Abyss Children and the World Eaters and such, would they be difficult/impossible for humans to imitate? Do the Abyss Children even know/care about humans, or are humans too small and insignificant in the grand plot of the universe for them to even notice?
Man this is a lot of ifs.
Oh oh oh oh oh- also, also also also!
I saw a c h a r t. On the "Children of The Abyss." It mentioned something above them(/maybe that created them?) called "Primordials." I am very very very curious about that as well.
Honestly I'm curious about all of this. Everything. Is there something to call this world or just, like, Otiksimr-verse? Otiksimr-oc-verse? just Otiksimrs OCs? OTIKSIMR LORE.
I know I said one question a day but like- technically this is one question, right? If it's all in one ask? (I'm sorry.)
I wouldn’t call it a language. Like, you know how animals can communicate via noises, scent and overall body language? It’s like that. World Eaters sound like whales yes, I describe Bob to sound specifically as a humpback whale mainly because he’s young, and humpback are pretty high pitched. Which would fit his age. Adults would be like deeper blue whales. Blue whales are already low frequency, imagine it being even lower frequency than that.
World Eaters rarely meet eachother yes, so they rarely communicate. To them whenever they do meet eachother it’s more like just a nod of acknowledgement than anything. Maybe a little rumble and they’re off on their separate ways. Usually though, they just make a lot of noise just to give smaller (which is basically all space animals) creatures a chance to get out of they way before they run into them. Like a warning, basically.
In World Eater language it would just be a series of clicks and rumbles, not a true name. So, what’s there is the closest ‘translation’ there is for whatever that is. Bob named himself. He was nameless up to that point, he heard a human say it and he repeated it for himself. Boom. Bob is now named.
Yes it would be impossible for humans to imitate World Eater language. It’s just too low frequency to be picked up by anything we currently have.
Abyss Children/Children of the Abyss/Gods (all of those describe the same thing) are. Weird. They don’t have a language. I think it would be better if I just gave a simple run down on their lore here.
They are beings born from bits of abyss that gained a conscious and split of from the greater body (Primordial Cosmos/Abyss/Void <- mean the same thing.). Most don’t make it out of this stage and get reabsorbed back into the Abyss. Their true form is just mist, a moving piece of void that just gets larger over time. The grand majority of them stay like this, the ones that I give designs are the ones that meet other species. The void is vast and ever expanding, the ones who meet others are considered the ‘lucky ones.’ From there they learn the language of whatever species they end up latching onto, and they usually take on the form of the species they get attached to as well, like a very attached fan. That make sense?
Now. Back to the ‘bit of abyss that split from the larger body’. Some of them get ‘pulled out’ by a third party. Yes that is possible, it’s what happened to Rahuul, Yhtraah, Zyanth, and Xercxes. The difference between ones that are helped and ones that aren’t? Ones that are helped are weaker but have a more stable mimicry/form, because they latch onto whatever helped them and therefore have better language too. Ones that arent (Haruna and Yoru) are rougher in their mimicry and language, but they are stronger than ones that are helped.
That being said. No matter how they came into being they all have the same want for that kind of connection with a ‘parental’ figure.
Abyss Children are extremely intelligent. But they are ignorant. Which kind of balances the intelligence out? They’re stupid but they’re not stupid, lmao. They don’t understand morality, they have no morals. They don’t know/care about right or wrong, they know want but not need. Things that make something ‘alive’ they do not understand but they definitely want it.
I don’t like calling them ‘gods’ but it’s just easier to say than ‘The closest thing to god’. They’re immortal and all powerful but they are so. So. Stupid. Emotionally.
I think Abyss Children would have an. Inane. Fascination with humans. With how I build they’re lore they have a near extreme desire for familial bonds. I mean, I have ‘children’ in the species name for a reason, you know? So creatures that have a familial structure they are immensely interested in. Which humans, which have such a wide range of kinds of families and ideas of ‘what a family is’ they would be extremely interested in.
Also ‘plot of the universe’ is a foreign concept for them. I just want to set in the point that they aren’t gods in the traditional sense. No omnipotence here. Lol. They are worshiped though, I guess? I mean. If you saw a giant amalgamation of animals suddenly grow your dead crops in the middle of winter, you’d start worshiping that shit too. Lmao.
Alright. Primordials. They’re the foundation of the universe. In a basic sense. The Cosmos, Time (Epoch), Reality, and Creation. There are only four of them. That being said, they are also their opposite concept. Cosmos is also Nothingness (The Cosmos is everything, the opposite of everything is nothing). You following me so far? Time is suanimous with Stagnation (Time is evermoving, backwards or forwards, so the opposite it for it to stay stagnant, stopping). Reality and illusions (obvious), Creation and ruin (also obvious).
They’re two sets of twins. Lol. (Cosmos + Time), (Reality + Creation). I usually have them as the… ‘most insane’ out of all my characters. It was just the four of them for practically all of eternity. In their time scale, life has only just started popping up. So they’re being raving over that ever since it happened.
Also I’ve already said this but the Abyss Children came from the body of Cosmos specifically.
Uh. I’ve just. Been calling it lore. I don’t have an overarching story or anything. Just a bunch of smaller stories that are all apart of the same lore branch.
And. Thank you, for the questions. It is a joy. Hehe.
Dude.
Did all this in 12 days and I still can't fucking pass case 57 r u kidding me
By the way what the hell is Leo's deal with impersonating officers of the law
Like bro has been in 2 goddamn chapters and both of them have him impersonating a cop and being the best at impersonating said cop.
It's bc of his misleading boyish whimsy and thirst for power to abuse isn't it. He's too morally corrupt they have to make him a cop bc nothing else makes sense
Spoilers for episode 7 of Tokyo debunker
First of all,
"Cheater" I love him. His boyfriend is annoying, but Sho is awesome.
Secondly,
Someone's gonna spread a rumour that he was eating a person, won't they... Just a hunch.
They care so much :') they're so concerned it's killing me. Also it would seem Tokutaisei is EXTREMELY obvious with her discomfort lol.
Bro hears footsteps from behind him and immediately pulls out his swords r u kidding me
again, no way this works, but PLEASE LET THIS WORK.
There's a good chance the reason it doesn't work is related to Yuri's presumed lack of understanding regarding the curse, since the only way to cure it would be for her to forget it, which seems less and less possible with each chapter, but I'm really excited to see why it ends up failing.
Nearly forgot to tag this lol. Also R U KIDDING ME. FINALLY SOMEONE OPEN TO DISCUSS AT LEAST SOMETHING REGARDING THE CLASH AND HE DOESNT EVEN REMEMBER IT???
could u make charizard marketable...
Your wallet is forfeit.
I LOVE WASPS THEYRE SO NICE. Bees take getting anywhere near them as an excuse to commit acts of terrorism, but wasps? They fly right up to ur shoe! They say hi! They go about their day, as long as u go about urs! If you piss off a wasp, maybe that's ur fault for not respecting nature enough. Maybe you should apologize. Say sorry. Say it. Right now. >:T
Fixed a wasp meme :)
She's fully black aside for her eyes. Not the most creative, I know, but it fits for her.
She is a really big lady. I wanted it to be that whenever she fully spread her wings, for whatever's underneath her it'd look like the entire sky got blacked out.
