Yuu who vehemently refuses to ever return to their world, and moreover, refuses to tell anyone why.
They were so excited to go back, albeit also a bit sad, for so long! Everyone thought this would be a good thing, something to be celebrated!
But as it would turn out, Yuu disagreed. They were GOING to go through the mirror, they were, but all it took was them testing it out by putting their hand through, and after a second or two of pause, they booked it away from the portal and to the corner of the room. "You won't take me alive!" They shouted, "not happening, absolutely not, I'm staying here!"
Everyone was extremely confused, as Yuu threw a chair at the portal. (Through the portal, but the goal was at the portal.) Only when Crowley walked over to ask what the hell Yuu was doing, did so much as one person learn what was wrong.
As soon as they whispered a very nervous answer, clutching their wrist like their hand would lose all circulation otherwise, Crowley shut the portal like it had personally offended him. He started going on about how infinitely gracious he was, and how out of that graciousness, he would allow Yuu to continue staying at NRC!
Everyone expected Yuu to argue, but Yuu just nodded. The only other person to ever learn of what happened was Grim, when Yuu woke up from a nightmare maybe a week or two later.
He was the only other person to learn that upon testing the portal with their hand, Yuu realized that they were considered dead and gone in their old world. That they couldn't move their hand when it was through, and that had they gone through completely, they would have gone into cardiac arrest as their world remembered that they weren't meant to be alive.
If Yuu had passed through that portal, there would be no coming back. Not to Twisted Wonderland, and not to life in general.
So, I'm about 7 seasons into SG-1, so spoilers for that, but I have a question.
Does anything cool ever happen to Sam the same way it does for the others?
Teal'c is an Alien who switched from having a larva to that injection thing, and he has a son, and he's fighting oppression from the Goa'ulds.
Daniel Jackson was on the first mission to Abydos, got a wife, lost his wife, died, became an ancient, helped O'Neill and Teal'c as an ancient, tried to save Abydos, got turned back to a human, lost most of his memory, all of that
O'Neill lost his son, was also on the first mission I believe, is pretty much the leader of SG-1, and apparently, as I have recently learned, IS THE NEXT STEP IN HUMAN EVOLUTION.
Even the stand-in! Jonas is also an alien, his planet is home to Naquadria, the otherworldly bugs, he was the first to see those, something something the time Carter and O'Neill almost exploded into water, he showed whats-his-face, I believe it was Anubis, where the Naquadria is and massively screwed up via doing so.
What about Carter? She made leaps in Stargate research, sure, but what else? She never resurrected, she's not an alien, she never got Ancient Knowledge bluetoothed into her head, she's just smart.
When Daniel Jackson sees her for the first real time after ascension, it's not emotional or plot important like O'Neill or Teal'c, he addresses her, then addresses Jonas THE SAME WAY, then talks to O'Neill. I recently saw the episode where O'Neill gets cloned, and there's a scene where she's trying to give a lecture on jets to new recruits, and guess what?
The new recruits ignore her completely. They laugh at her. Then FIFTEEN YEAR OLD O'Neill clone comes in and they IMMEDIATELY LISTEN TO HIM? They would sooner listen to a 15 year old boy about these devices than an accomplished scientist and pilot.
For the first few seasons, it seemed like she was always the one coming up with ideas. Until Jonas came along, and suddenly he was the quick thinker. Now I'm not quite sure what role she even plays. She's a good shot with a gun, and with alien tech, but ultimately that's Teal'cs and maybe O'Neills job. She's smart, but Cloneill was able to get back from an Asgard ship easily, and it's not her they named a ship after, it's him.
I just want to know, does Sam Carter ever become plot relevant in the same way the others do, Alien, Ascended, Evolved, or does she just stay being a way for the writers to pen in solutions to episodes that the other characters wouldn't learn, and an occasional love interest for O'Neill? Cuz this is starting to piss me off. The only time I can remember her being relevant was when a Tokra 'possessed' her, and her dad being the Tokra 'representative', but ultimately those matter more for connections than they do for her character.
To be clear, this isn't me criticizing her characterization. She's probably my favorite character on the whole team, and she's written fairly well, I just want to know when, if at all, Sam Carter will have an important impact on the universe like the other characters, outside of one thing that happened before when the show is set.
Spoilers for Worldless!!!
WHAT THE HELL.
Ok so I kinda sorta... Gave up. On like 2 battles and just went to the purple place.
IM PLAYING AS SPIKY DUDE. HELL YEAH. Also i (blue me I mean) kinda got... Melted 😔 so far though I really love this game. I'm gonna get off it for now tho cuz I got IRL stuff to do 😔 sadly. But jeez this is interesting.
Also spiky dude already has and developed his own skill tree??? I love the details.
extremely underrated subgenre of tumblr post: when someone makes a general statement about something, and another person offers a counter-statement that's just completely nonsensical, and the OP just agrees instantly even if it makes no sense at all

TOKYO DEBUNKER SPOILERS THROUGH HOTARUBI
Okay, so, that was worryingly normal.
The mission went off nearly without a hitch, Zenji is a ghost, Lyca is getting released, Subaru's bit "secret" is that his power isn't exactly what he said it was, Haku is probably the Traitor but besides that he didn't do anything concerning, I just.
No disturbingly visual depictions of gore. No incredibly immoral actions taken by any of the characters. Just a charismatic celery stick, a shy ex-actor, and an eccentric ghost.
Something terrible is going to happen next episode. I can feel it. This is like the calm before the storm. The storm of gore. And murder. And was that a vampire? That was a vampire at the end there.
I'm scared. I'm excited, but I am so incredibly on edge. Either the writers realized that the first few chapters were a bit much, (god I hope that's not what happened,) or this is fake and something terrible is going to happen. I really hope it's the second one.
I love this game. I can't shut up about it.
.... TKDB(?) EP 9(?) spoilers(?)
Oh this is going to crash and burn SO BAD.
None of the ghouls know teamwork??? They JUST learned how not to kill people from their own house and u wanna do INTER-HOUSE MISSIONS?
Plus, Romeo is NOT a good fit for leader. He is so power hungry r u kidding. Plus, a leader at all in a group of ghouls is a bad idea. Plus, making teamwork a competitive sport is genuinely so unproductive. Funny, but dude, ur a chancellor, think.
Romeo is not satisfied until Kaito breaks down into tears. He must use every possible second of his time to make Kaito suffer. Debt is not enough. He must ruin Kaito's life.
Bro stop harassing him, he's pathetic enough without kicking down a proverbial flight of stairs 😠give him a break
Vaal hazak my beloved!!! <3<3<3
Vaal Hazak is my second favorite monster. They silly, the little maintainer of the Rotten Vale. Buddy's the opposite of a roomba.
TOKYO DEBUNKER EP. 10 SPOILSSS
First of all, I like the detail that after obs and MC join the roster, the numbers of maids and butlers is even again. It goes from 5-3 to 6-6.
Once again, the only reasonable and normal person in Obscuary.
Lmao I love the group dynamics. This game has the funniest dialogue I swear.
"which one of these is a shirt-"
"ah, Egyptian cotton. Hm? Oh I have no clue how to put it on, I swear-"
"I'm not helping you get dressed, dude, if your arm falls off in here it's gonna coat everything in blood. And normal reasons."
Hey, so yk how I said this game treats MC like a precious stone? A long time ago? Well I was so totally right by the way. Just thought you should know.
Okay yeah that's not creepy. "Seems easy to me, what's the problem?" The problem is that they're probably only hiring because their staff is full of sacrifices, Lyca. That's why the pay is so high. Because they literally don't have to pay you after you get eaten by ghosts or some shit.
"Worried about the others? Hm, I wonder which one has your heart..."
"uh, what do you mean..?"
*cue chainsaw noises, plates breaking, cat hisses, general cartoonish commotion from Rui and Lyca's side*
Tune in next week, for the next episode of "Kidnapping Victim and her Supernatural Harem (try to) do Menial Chores for a Sting Operation"
Tdbk EP 10 spoilers
The last one for this episode!
THIS IS SO SAD WHAT
And why does MC shrink away 😠both from Lyca for a moment and from Rui when handing over the documents I hate this
Like MC you of all people know that they aren't threats- STOP ACTING SO SCARED OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN LITERALLY NOTHING BUT NICE AND HELPFUL AND SAVED YOU SEVERAL TIMES???
Bro I did not consent to watching this
Neither did MC actually and WOULD SOMEONE COMFORT LYCA PLS HE NEEDS IT
Ed is officially the worst dude what the hell
Why would the mice be fucking in the mech- nope, not sure I want to know.
I watched Pacific Rim about 2 days ago. Just woke up. From a dream. About Pacific Rim.
I didn't even know I liked the movie that much?
I also dreamt about mice but that's a different thing.
Dude.
Did all this in 12 days and I still can't fucking pass case 57 r u kidding me
