okay am I the only one who has a problem with sharing my fandoms? like i’ll share them with my friends and things but then I get SUPER overprotective of my fandoms and get kinda mad when my friends talk about them. idk it might just be me but it’s gotten so bad I've had to have ‘secret fandoms’ my friends don’t know i’m in.

Pairing: Richie and reader 

Summary: You and Richie have a baby at 16 and 17

Warnings: swearing, angst(not really)

Finding out yourself wasn’t super bad. Beverly was there when you found out and when you got kicked out. The panic attacks came when you decided that your boyfriend Richie should know. You decided to write him a letter because your mouth couldn’t possibly form the words to tell him. You waited two weeks to even be face to face with him. You avoided him at school, after, and before school. He would text you but you’d just ignore them or give him short answers. You drove to his that was across derry from Bev’s house. You sat in the car trying to figure out how you would give him the letter and after about an hour of endless thinking you got out of your car and knocked on the door. Maggie, Richies mom, answered the door smiling. 

“Hey Y/N”, she said welcoming you in, “Richie is upstairs in his room.” You smiled at her and and walked up the stairs, you made it to his door and slowly opened it. Richie was on his computer so he assumed it was Maggie checking in on him. “Hey mom-“ he turned and looked at you and stood up. “Hey…where’ve you been? I haven’t been able to reach you. I swear if Henry or your dad did something-“ You shook your head and wiped your tears. 

“I wrote a letter explaining it all, but now that I’m here I’d rather just tell you.” 

Richie sat down on his bed and patted the spot next to him, you sat down and he went and closed his door before sitting back down next to you. He grabbed your hand letting you know it was okay to tell him. “Okay so maybe about two weeks ago when I had the flu, I realized that I had stopped taking the pill because I reacted badly to them. Before I could switch to something else we-“ Richie cut you off “We went to the quarry and had unprotected sex…baby are you trying to tell me that your….“ You started to cry before nodding, 

“I’m pregnant and my parents kicked me out.” Richie knelt in front of you and rubbed your arms. “Hey you can live here. My mom will be supportive, I know it.” You nodded and kept your eyes on the floor because you were scared. You knew you wanted to go through with having the baby, but you were still terrified of everything that came with having the baby. Richie was junior, he had a car and a really two nice jobs at the movie theatre/ arcade and as a tutor. The arcade owner pays him nicely because the he adores Richie. Richie also was a straight A student so of course he’d tutor underclassmen struggling with geometry. You just didn’t want all the heavy stuff falling onto him. You wanted to split the expenses and make sure he could stay in school. You know that he has a future. He has colleges already looking at his grades and emailing him about applying. 

Richie lifted your chin so you’d be looking at him. “My love, I support your decision. I will be here for you and this baby. There’s no one I’d rather do it with.” After about a week you decided to tell Maggie the reason you were living in her house. She ended up going to your parents to see if they would transfer your address to the Tozier residence, they agreed so you and Richie packed up all your things and you moved in. At the next losers club kickback Bev and Richie helped you tell them. Mike was like your big brother so he was super supportive.

You were about 9 months now, thinking about how you told everybody seemed like it happened yesterday. You were sat on the floor of the unfinished nursery organizing things while Richie painted and put things together. Maggie helped you fold onesies and organize bottles and stuff like that. Since you were on the younger side the pregnancy took a toll on your body. You and Richie found out you were having a girl at your gender reveal party that took place a few weeks ago. Although your parents are still set on keeping you out of the house your mom still calls you just to make sure you’re doing okay. You honestly liked talking to her about baby stuff. She gave you a few tips and dropped stuff when she could. It was mostly your fathers decision to kicking you out so your mother had to sneak around him to talk to you. You stood up and Richie looked back at you. 

“Where you going babe?” He pushed up his glasses and smiled. “I’m just going to the kitchen, I’m hungry Rich.” 

He got down from the step stool and took you into his room. “Let me take you out, one of our last nights completely alone.” You nodded before feeling a wave of pain in your abdomen. You just told Richie it was Braxton Hicks because you thought they were. But when they returned thirty minutes later and kept consistently coming back you went into Maggies office since Richie was taking a shower. She smiled and noticed the look of discomfort on your face, frowning slightly.

“Hey, are you okay hun?” You shook your head “I think I’m having contractions, I mean they started coming thirty minutes apart but now it’s like ten minutes apart.” Maggie nodded and sat you on the couch. “Im gonna grab the bag and let Richie know.” You nodded and watched her go upstairs. When she came back down Richie was with her. He had a bag and a backpack in hand and grabbed his car keys he gave Maggie a quick hug. “I’ll see you at the hospital ma.” You slowly stood up and let Richie help you to his car. You evened out your breathing as your contractions came closer together, you were in too much pain to let Richie know that your water broke but, he noticed and sped up as much as he could without breaking the law. You eventually got to the hospital and saw the losers. You loved them all but you knew you only wanted Beverly and Stan in the room with you. Bev was your best friend and Stan was Richies. Richie let them know and they waved at the other losers and walked back with you two. 

About two hours into your labor and you weren’t having it. Richie kept touching you and it just pissed you off. “Richie stop fucking touching me!” He backed off and Bev came and held your hand and you felt content. When another contraction hit you tears were spilled, to you it was the worst describable pain you’ve ever felt. The nurse came back in with your epidural and sat you up and gave you the pain reliever. It eventually stopped hurting and you were just waiting to push. About 9 hours have passed it was now 2am and everyone was asleep. You woke up first then your nurse walked in. 

“It’s been a long night for you hun, I think you should be ready to push.” The nurse examined you and everybody woke up. Richie stretched and grabbed your hand and traced circles with his thumb. “Okay you are ready to push on your next contraction” Stan and Bev came to your side as other nurses came in to assist. You felt your contraction and pushed as hard as you could. In-between pushes you took a ten second break. After 20 minutes your daughter was finally here, the nurse handed her to you after she got cleaned up and got her vitals checked. Richie went into the waiting room catching the eyes of all the losers. Eddie was first to speak up “So, what’s the news?” 

“Im a dad to the most adorable little girl ever. Y/N’s a bit tired so you guys should come back tomorrow.” The losers hugged Richie then soon exited. You were feeding her for the first time and Bev was helping you because she helps women at a shelter breastfeed during her free time. Richie walked in and wipes his face with his hands. “We didn’t think of a name.”
