Also worth mentioning that in Dracula the first one to give Lucy a blood transfusion was her fiancé. And after that he felt like they were really married. Just saying, yk. It surely doesn't have a single thing to do with a particular podcast in which the themes of marriage and honesty and devotion may or may not arise.
Thinking about the eroticism of blood and blood transfusions in literature. In particular the way that it’s used in Dracula. That Lucy Westerna’s life is prolonged through transfusions by her three suitors, the three men who loved her.
And I’m definitely not thinking about this in connection to any audio drama podcasts I’ve been listening to lately. Because, surely, this podcast—which contains countless references to pop culture and Samuel Taylor Coleridge—didn’t intentionally reference this literary history with a plot relevant blood transfusion.
It’s the gayest thing I have ever heard.
Behold for I've brought you some memes
What if 'would-you-rather' questions come back once Gordon emerges from hypersleep?? What if Gordon actually is amnesiac and those questions are the only thing connecting Warren to the man he knew??? What if Warren checks his answers and realizes they're just the same? And what if he realized they're not???? What then?????
Man I miss my good friend Gordon Porlock so much. I hope he comes back soon.
As a person from a small town I fear I might have some disturbingly strong feelings about I am in Eskew podcast. I've listened to it on my first year of Uni when I moved from my hometown to a big city and it had the biggest hold on me.
This feeling of love for the place you call your home even though the place itself is mostly toxic but it loves you back and you know that you will always belong on it's streets however filthy they might be. All that small town filth is yours and it feels like it will never leave your side, because you can move as far away from the place as you wish but it will always be there crawling under your skin reminding you of everything you've ever wanted to escape and how you fail to do so over and over again because no matter what you will always love this town unconditionally.
Anyway, I am in Eskew is awesome, please listen to it.

Spiritfarer x The Magnus Archives
Oliver Banks as the Spiritfarer made the most sense to me since he’s the End Avatar we know and love, so it makes sense he’d be the one to do this job. Plus he has a history with boats, it kinda works out.
Michael as a ferret at first didn’t have a love of thought behind it, but I realized that is sorta the point. He was an extremely not special guy, he was just a normal man, just a ferret. His lack of importance to the greater need of Gertrude was his tragedy, he was dispensable.
Jane as a pile of worms is due to her actual connection to the worms, but it’s even more than that. When I was figuring out whether or not I actually wanted to add her to I had to ask did she die with the wasp next or did she die in the archives, and that is the point of her spirit. She is this mess of worms trying to recreate a version of herself from before the wasp nest, someone who simply does not exist anymore.
Agnes is a peacock styled as a phoenix, to show how she was mythicized by everyone who met and knew her, but she was still always just a person, just an average bird with the weight of her prophecy on her shoulders.
My mission to spread Red Valley agenda is successful. My roommate doesn't even listen to podcasts and she already adores Waffles more than she likes me. Probably because Waffles doesn't talk about Red Valley Pod all the time. But a win is a win!!
Guys... Do you think I should make crochet Warren... So he and crochet Gordon could hold hands and be perfectly happy and fine together... Also I am totally making Waffles.
I was trying to have a miserable day but then I remembered Gordon Porlock is fine and well and isn't amnesiac and I started smiling like a crazy person on a bus. What 3 hours of sleep and red valley pod do to mf.
you (mark sollinger) are in his voice mail inbox and im impregnanting him w the seed of something terrifying and wonderful, we are not the same
It took me too long to realize that what Warren listened to in Gordon's cryosuit wasn't only the WYWH stuff. He also listened to the tapes from up to at least Premium Dead Forever. And I feel very stupid because he even REFERENCED these tapes to Bryony.
So we know for sure that he listened to Gordon cutting open the Yoghurt Lord. So. Uhm. Nice to know he is still acting normal around him I guess.
Also I'm curious if he listened to Grace calling Gordon Igor. He probably wouldn't call him out on it, since Grace's redemption arc, but I'm still curious. And also still a little bit pissed at Grace for that whole scene.
Still don't know why it took me so long to figure out the most obvious thing ever though.
