You can practically hear the confusion swirling in his brain, feel the tension in his face as he furrows his brows, and you can’t help but giggle as you feel a hand slowly, unsurely resting on your back, patting it softly as you would a friend.

You laugh, but keep your lips flush to his, causing him to try and pull back slightly. “What, are you doing?” You follow his head and keep kissing him.

“Missed you today,” you coo, voice warbled by the smooshing of your lips against his. “A lot.”

He even shifts his lips out to meet yours, the hand on your back cradling the back of your head, and it makes the concussion you potentially just gave him worth it.

“We need to talk about your cuteness aggression though,” he mumbles against you.
