Charlie Lastra really said “Stephens, if you’re the villain in someone else’s love story, then I’m the devil” and “if you’re the ‘wrong kind of woman,’ then I’m the wrong kind of man” and you expected me to not fall for that shit?

She wasn’t looking forward to attending her mother’s huge Christmas party at all, didn’t want to converse with all these people she didn’t know, but seemed to know an awful lot about her. This giant building her mother referred to as “their home“ wasn’t home to her. To her, it had always felt like she didn’t belong. Politics, a world she was born into, a game she still learned to perfect, something she tremendously hated. She didn’t want to have to deal with any of it tonight, but seeing as she came “home“ for the holidays, she didn’t really have a choice.
She forced laughter at the bad jokes her mother’s friends made, the stories they told her the most boring things she's ever heard and she faked smiles when her mother introduced her to yet another person she had no interest in getting to know.
All of it seemed to never have been relevant, though, as she locked eyes with him.
Hotch and Prentiss doing what they do best: looking at each other while standing in a room full of people💘That little smirk on her face though😏
