She wasnât looking forward to attending her motherâs huge Christmas party at all, didnât want to converse with all these people she didnât know, but seemed to know an awful lot about her. This giant building her mother referred to as âtheir homeâ wasnât home to her. To her, it had always felt like she didnât belong. Politics, a world she was born into, a game she still learned to perfect, something she tremendously hated. She didnât want to have to deal with any of it tonight, but seeing as she came âhomeâ for the holidays, she didnât really have a choice.
She forced laughter at the bad jokes her motherâs friends made, the stories they told her the most boring things she's ever heard and she faked smiles when her mother introduced her to yet another person she had no interest in getting to know.
All of it seemed to never have been relevant, though, as she locked eyes with him.
prentiss, no
â a book written by david rossi, co-authored by jennifer jareau, spencer reid and penelope garcia. introduction written by erin strauss. includues excerpts from the prequel âprentiss, calm downâ written by aaron hotchner
do also enjoy the feisty counter argument, âprentiss, yes!â written by derek morgan
hotch: you guys have written ⌠fanfiction about us?
morgan: itâs not about you
prentiss: the main characters are two police officers names aarya and emilio
morgan: okay so itâs a little about you, but relax, itâs not like anyone here has read any of it
jj: iâve read it. i think itâs well written. morgan has quite the nuance for subtle characterization
garcia: iâve read one story. iâd be more concerned with morganâs fixation of aaronâs â excuse me, emilioâs arms than anything he has ever written about well ⌠aarya
hotch: has anyone else written about us?
reid, slowly raising his hand: unlike morgan, i stay away from the mature stuff becuase, thatâs too weird since weâre friends, but i do write stories about when you two will finally admit your feelings
rossi: reidâs is really good, but i prefer the fics where hotch realizes his feelings before emily
strauss: enough! i donât want to hear anything more about this fanfiction, from this moment, there will be no more reading or writing about any of my agents. is that understood?
the bau: yes, maâam
garcia, as soon as strauss has left: rossi, tell us more about your fics
jj: any cute things to call your partner?
prentiss: sugar
hotch: honey
prentiss: flour
hotch: egg
prentiss: 1/2lb butter
hotch: stir
prentiss: pour into pan
hotch, high-fiving prentiss: preheat to 350 degrees
delusional post for s18:
to give the cm writers a chance to finally right their wrongs, emily dates a 6â2 prosecutor with huge hands and has a son from a previous marriage and is partial to designer ties and recently acquired reading glasses đ
maybe he sometimes texts her in the morning or at night when he knows sheâs working a case or smth and canât take a phone call idk

Emily: Thereâs this guy on my team. He wonât listen, thinks he knows best.
Dave: Oh, you have an Emily.
Aaron: Definitely an Emily.
Emily: What? No. Iâd know if he was an Emily.
Aaron: Did he directly disobey an order, and then look at you like you were in the wrong?
Emily:âŚ
Emily: Damn it I have an Emily. Iâm so sorry, Aaron.
Aaron: Ah itâs ok. I love you, so you mostly got away with it.
