Furina naturally doesn't remember since half of her soul kinda died, but Arlecchino does. Being a famous, multi-talented actress, Furina remains alone at the top of the entertainment industry and that puts her in a relatively vulnerable state of mind for someone who truly cares for her.

Insert the Knave, who has has every intention of claiming her. Obsessive and hella possessive, but generally for Furina's own good/happiness.

This is my favorite flavour of Arlefuri. Arlecchino love and care for Furina being genuine but shown in rather morally ambiguous ways. Arle being arrogant and believing she knows best than anyone else, specially when it comes to the wellbeing of those she cares about.

And I love this kind of modern/reincarnation au, specially if they were separated tragically. Like Arlecchino dying during the Fatui war against Celestia and one of her many regrets is that Furina will be alone again. Or Celestia finding out they were deceived and punishing Furina for it with Arlecchino being too late to save her. Anyhow, Arlecchino will not allow them being taken apart again.

the first thought to come to mind was tartaglia

i imagine before he’s about to give fatuimouche some divine head he starts singing his praises to the tsaritsa for the blessing that is whatever is between scara’s legs (anything u want idc)

like he’s already on his knees so he just clasps his hands, eyes squeezed shut and mutters the most earnest prayer to the tsaritsa before he dives in

and scara is watching in absolute shock and bemusement turned amusement that this ginger mortal is actively saying grace between his legs

feeds into his ego and his interest in childe so he still tolerates him no matter how much he wants to grab him by his ahoge and wring him around sometimes

so it’s a win win for both of them
