sometimes you have to stop for a moment and realise that this world isn’t your home. i often find myself overwhelmed with negative thoughts and feelings forgetting that this is all temporary. everything around me, around us, is temporary. this sense of longing and loneliness can only be fulfilled in jannah.

I find going on tumblr so calming. unlike all other social media, the people I follow aren’t constantly talking about politics and coronavirus, it’s mostly pretty pictures and poetry and quotes and sometimes you really need that escape from reality

In a world that’s obsessed with physical beauty, always ask the Almighty to beautify and uplift our soul through consistent acts of worship and prayer. Remember, time will rob you of your outer beauty, no matter how hard you try to preserve it but a beautiful soul remains!

whether you’re just finishing your first semester, or you’re a senior, or anything in between, be proud of the progress you’ve made. college is not easy, not even close. any accomplishment is a great one. don’t be discouraged by any future worries and be happy with everything you’ve done so far. i’m proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself!
