Super Mario 64 is fun to speedrun and fun to break. YouTube animator TerminalMontage captures this pretty accurately in this animated 0-star speedrun. I’m heading to GDEX to play some local indie games and break them, of course. EDIT: GDEX got too serious and too expensive, so I actually didn't go.

Kodi, or XBMC, is flexible open-source software for streaming media players. It has dozens of add-ons for playing video from lots of places on the Internet, right on your TV. At the fair today, I saw a couple shady vendors selling little Android boxes with Kodi for hundreds of dollars. If you really want to save money, just buy a cheap Amazon Fire TV stick and do it yourself. It’s not that hard.
Finally, XKCD makes an indirect apperance on the House of Hitstun. Randall Munroe also answers lots of hypothetical "What If?" questions online and offline. I've linked to this video in the "Source" section below.

20 years ago, Jet Set Radio had us jamming to hyperactive DJ mixes as we fight the establishment and avoid getting beat up by police. The world really needs more right now, but with only one official sequel, new fans are carrying on the legacy. Jet Set Radio Live streams several Jet Set Radio-inspired radio mixes 24/7. Today is SiIvaGunner's DJ Professor K Takeover featuring music from Hideki Naganuma and Sega games expertly mashed up with their usual memes. Stay safe out there.

Dear Catcom--err Capcom by suzuran
After vanilla Marvel vs Capcom 3, Wave did another one with characters she wanted to see added to the game. Tha's why the Strider Hiryu, Frank West, Phoenix Wright, and Doctor Strange cats are here too.

I love it when people quickly drop knowledge and debunk misconceptions with proper research, and we need it now more than ever. Here is Adam Conover, a comedian who can appear in any unfair situation and demolish it with cold hard facts whether you like it or not. This show started as a CollegeHumor series before getting a remake on Court TV or something.

Frog Fractions is an epic journey masquerading as an edutainment game. I played this blind on my stream for eleven fifths of an hour, and it was a trip. Sure enough, by the time I was done, I had gotten better at investing money based on how flammable my warehouse is. The only proper way to play this game is with at little prior knowledge as possible, so just play it now and look stuff up later.
What are you doing reading this old post? Go play Frog Fractions already.

UPDATE: Here's the same playlist on Google Play Music.
Hey, you! I need some music recommendations to get me through long days at work. In the comments, please give me an album or a playlist that I’m not already listening to and that I can find either on Spotify or free on the Internet somewhere. I’m an openminded metalhead and I like just about any music if it’s hard enough. As for my own recommendations, here’s a metal playlist I made about a year ago.

For the past four years, I've been doing a weekly Twitch stream where I attack a game in my backlog. If I pick the game and fail to finish it in reasonable time, my viewers get to pick next week's game as punishment. That happened tonight.
This time, I've put up a poll with five games my friends and Skype chatters want to make me play. Whatever wins this poll is the game I will run next Tuesday at 10pm EDT. This poll is open to everyone. Here are your choices:
Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC) Megaman X6 (PS2) My Little Pony Crystal Princess: The Runaway Rainbow (GBA) Redneck Rampage (PC) Kick Master (NES)
I must have seen this screen a hundred times.

Yesterday, we lost a local legend. Moses “Laoshu” McCormick was a giant among polyglots, having developed his own Foreign Language Roadrunning method to practice and speak dozens of languages. He recently became internet famous for finding foreigners and surprising them with conversations in their native languages. I’m fortunate to have met Moses and Marcell at our local fighting game meetups and Asian Festivals, and I’m glad Moses could pass on his knowledge through his online courses.
