A whole group of adults just protecting this fucking child.

Some do when they make their way to the bakery and see the sweet girl. A bakers daughter. A middle school child being forced into this roll.

The adults take calming classes. They refuse to get akumatized.

They won’t ever let that man find out who ladybug is.

Anytime they need pasties or stuff for an event they go to the bakery. They contribute to the business whej they can.

They help as much as they can.

They find out through the parents the girl has her website. They start making commissions.

Maybe one of them was a cop. He hears from the parents about the bullying and issues with the school.

Maybe brings it up to the station and even confronts the school board

Alfred is Adrien. AU where everything occurred way earlier, Adrien left for London where he changed his name and Marinette stayed in Paris. Alfred did all he does in the comic as he wanted to remove the stain of his father’s name. He becomes a butler mostly because he knows it would have pissed off his father. He never expected to become Bruce Wayne’s guardian or to love him as a son.

He is very much: of course I raised a bloody hero about Batman but never says anything to Bruce about his past, wanting to let sleeping dogs lie. At least until Marinette shows up one day, deciding she doesn’t want them to be Fu and Marianne. Now the BatFam has a grandma. And she will kick your ass.

I know the popular take is Batman's rogues getting their butts handed to them by Bruce Wayne, and I'm not belittling that, because that's really funny for all stated reasons?

But how about a new take: most of Batman's rogues call him off limits, because they find out he is their benefactor, when/if they try to reform?

Mr Freeze won't touch him because when he's in Arkham, Bruce is the one who finances the research to help Nora Fries.

Poison Ivy won't touch him because he had been the one supplying her with plants, while in prison.

Harley won't touch him because he's just a great guy an' gotham needs guys like that.

Riddler won't touch him because he was the secret backer that time Eddie tried to open a detective agency.

Croc won't touch him because he's one of the few people who ever talks to him like a person.

Deadshot refuses any hits on him because he found out Wayne does a lot of secret work for people down on their luck who made bad mistakes.

Batman: So what do you do?

Ladybug: I fight all the villains in Paris.

Batman: I've never heard of villains in Paris.

Ladybug: Yeah, cuz I do my job.
