I finished the writing, now to code it. And then look for all my typos but omg this is so exciting. I'm in actual shock that I managed to complete a thing? It's pretty small but eeeee~
DEMO
There it is!! 🎉🎉
I hope you guys enjoy this beginning of the story that I have wanted to share with everyone for years. If you find any typos or errors, please don’t hesitate to share them with me. I would appreciate it!
Thank you, everyone, for being so patient and supportive! Have fun!
obsessed with characters being saved against their will. being knocked unconscious and carried away from a danger they won't stop trying to fight. being shoved through a portal somewhere far away and safe right before it closes. trying to self-sacrifice only to have the exact person they're trying to save swap their places at the last second. getting the only cure to the disease or curse bc the person administering it loves them too much to give it to anyone else, including themselves. being thrown to safety right as they had accepted dying. someone else they thought had gotten to safety running back to drag them out of danger. it's so fucking tasty
Technically I have one more week and should be workin on my last essay but I am excited. Anyways I’ve begun writin the prologue~Â
I still dunno how to code thought :), but that’s whatevs until later.
Clawing at the walls of my enclosure. The enclosure is the 2 week end of the semester period. It cannot end soon enough
Do you have tips on writing a character who hasn't eaten in a while?
Hunger is more than a mere rumble in the belly; it is a powerful human experience that intertwines emotion with the physical, influencing a character’s actions and shaping their decisions. Whether it is the gnawing emptiness of a missed meal or the desperate ache of long-term deprivation, hunger can be a compelling force in storytelling.

The joys of writing fantasy is nothing has the be realistic. The bane of my existence is the need to have things be accurate enough and getting nitty gritty about stuff.
Combat can be people hitting each other with sticks and vibes but I'm here trying to determine which weapons are used on horseback and how formation looks. They are fighting on the backs of dragons in a world of magic and mystery, what am I doing this to myself for? 😒
Anyways, lances are pretty cool but what else is there? From what I gather you just ram your lance and then whip out your side arm, which makes sense but also I guess I thought there'd be 30 or so different mounted weapons to choose from.
In a sea of constant change, does a ship remain true, when every plank replaced, and every sail anew?
[DEMO TBA]
we all know the ship of theseus' dilemma. Is it the same ship?
is it not the same ship?
what you know is that it's yours.
every morning after a full moon, you wake to witness a part of it replaced.
you're the captain of this cursed ship, you and your crew bound to it like day and night are to each other. despite the curse, you've known a life full of adventure and travels, exploring and seizing the waters. all this, you know.
until you don't.
this morning, no member of your crew can find the object that's been replaced.
what happens when for the first time since this curse has been set, not an object has been replaced, but a person–or a part of them– has?
you wake in a captain's cabin. are you the same captain?
are you not the same captain?
you know nothing.
