i just learned how to create animations using GIMP
when designing the main villain character i made a quick little theme for them:
i added an effect for when the orb of freezing is used (ignore the fact that i don't have an item equipped)
have you guys noticed that when a character has a tail, it's usually useless and only for show?
wouldn't it be kinda cool if it could also hold a sword or cast magic like any other limb?
just a random thought...

Today's Aerostrike progress report:
1) Slightly adjusted the collision of ships with walls to allow them to "slide off" corners, instead of always getting stuck on them.
2) Preliminary work has begun on a special project, codenamed "MF-02".
once upon a time a friend and I wanted to make a rouglike game together. We did not have an official name for it so we gave it a code name. the fc in fcdesert is for "fredrik connor". connor is the artist and i am doing everything else. so far i have made some of the game and some of the website.

connor made this, he also said that it was painful drawing every pixel (this is 500x500, so that means that he did now know that he could just resize the pixels at that time).
player:
this is when the player has the most powerful weapon equiped, i edited this sprite to give it different weapons:
as you can see there is a clear difference between his art and my art.
gameplay:
im thinking that it should take place in an magical pyramid where the rooms change, it will make it so that every time you enter a room it is always different.
also as you can see there is a white square following the player, i am currently making the enemy AI (i am making a different AI for each type of monster) and forgot to take it out before recording.
