introducing our player character:
as you can see, it is very easy to tell that it's the player character. it even has "PLAYER" written on it. it also helpfully show what is and isn't the hitbox!
lore: this thing appeared some day for some reason and started killing monsters for no reason because that makes the best stories. it then started killing NPCs but that doesn't matter because they aren't alive in the first place. it then broke into reality and is attempting to find your exact coordinates.
I am currently in the process of rewriting a lot of lore and stuff
i've been thinking about the lore lately and made these two things that might come in a future update:
[Environment and journey concepts + battle scene] The game is similar to Darkest Dungeon and RPGs with encounters happening between a start point and a goal point: Journeys You protect the sun orb from monsters by fending them off and keeping them at a distance, until you reach another town on your cycle.

quizlet told me today that my progress was NaN%:
either i did so well that numbers couldn't describe how well i did while studying today, or i did so poorly that quizlet gave up.
i think it's the latter.

i decided to throw away the last 3 backgrounds because the game looked better without them and because it lowers system req (in other words i threw hours of work away )

i love procrastinating on adding basic stuff like battle animations because most of the battle code was written at midnight for some reason and i literally cannot comprehend it.
