Imagine if they went to an alt universe and their universal counterparts main personalities are all things that the fam considered blasphemous like Jason’s hates reading, steph’s thinks pancakes are better, Tim’s hates to drink coffee, damian’s doesn’t care for animals and hates dogs, etc,...

Amazing, perfection, genius. I feel like their alternates would vary as would their reactions to said alternates. So let’s list them (and I'm adding a read more and a pt. 2 bc this is really long):

1) Alt Bruce

His alternate is super touchy feely and always wants to have heart to hearts.

He’s still Batman but he doesn’t rlly care about Gotham. Like he’s a hero who happens to be based in Gotham, not a hero for Gotham. If Gotham were to fail he wouldn’t really care.

He even thinks Metropolis is better.

Reaction:

Bruce begrudgingly admits that his alternates emotional availability might not be a bad thing.

They get in a heated debate about the significance of Gotham.

Regular Bruce punches alt Bruce after alt says that metropolis is better than Gotham.

2) Alt Dick

Is terrified of heights (so he runs around in the sewers like the hygienic man he is)

Does not think of himself as part of the family and does not care for the family

Hates cereal

Reaction:

This conversation–

Jason: Hey Dickiebird? Why does your alternate smell like shit?

Alt!Dick: I am the phantom of the Gotham underground. I have no perceptible scent.

Tim, trying not to gag: I beg to differ.

Dick, looking horrified: WHY THE SEWERS?! WHY NOT THE ALLEYS OR THE ROADS?!?!

Alt!Dick: Phantom of the Gotham streets doesn’t sound as cool.

Duke: But it smells better.

Dick calls his alternate a “sad smelly hermit” after the alternate says that Family is pointless.

After hearing that his alter doesn’t like cereal Dick starts listing every type and this happens–

Dick: Fruit loops?

Alt!Dick: No.

Dick: Honey smacks?

Alt!Dick: No.

Dick: Cheerios?

Alt!Dick: No.

Dick: IS THERE ANYTHING YOU LIKE?!

Alt!Dick: Grape-nuts.

Dick: You monster…

3) Alt Babs

Hates technology (so she keeps paper records for the fam and does research).

Thinks Alt!Dick hung the moon and can do no wrong.

She doesn’t understand any nerd culture and hates video games.

Reaction:

She can not comprehend her alternate’s dislike of technology. Like, no. It just, such confusion?? And she refuses to believe that Alt!Babs is actually a version of herself.

Hearing Alt!Babs talk about Dick in such a ‘dreamy’ voice leads to this convo:

Alt!Babs: Oh Richard, you’re right! What would we do without you!

Babs makes a gagging noise and glares at Dick.

Dick: Don’t look at me! Honestly it sorta freaks me out too.

When Babs realizes that Alt!Babs thinks Star Trek is a sequel to Star Wars she grumpily leaves.

4) Alt Jason

Despises reading.

Thinks normal Jason is stupid for going to Ethiopia.

Goes to Bruce for advice.

Reactions:

Well, this happens–

Dick: JASON STOP TRYING TO SHOOT YOURSELF!

Jason: THATS NOT ME AND HE INSULTED JANE AUSTEN!

Alt!Jason: Her books are stupid! She’s overrated!

Jason: I WILL KILL YOU!

This is based off of Alt!Jason's idolization of Bruce, but he didn't go to Ethiopia and is very critical of normal Jason for going to Ethiopia. Jason doesn't outwardly react to this much, but it does hurt and brings up painful memories.

Alternate Jason goes to Bruce constantly for advise and trusts his every word. Whenever normal Jason sees this he gets a disgusted/horrified look and glares at his Bruce.

Did I ever tell yall about this yoohankim paramedic crack AU that I did? Its a crack au where hsy and yjh's first meeting with kdj is during an incident where kdj went into cardiac arrest and they both manage to resuscitate him, only to find out he had a DNR order form on him. Thus, an unconventional friendship was born!

Featuring:

Kim Dokja, a seemingly normal salary man who actually has a debilitating heart condition. His condition makes life extremely difficult to live with. As such, dude just wants to pass peacefully if his time (though expectedly) short does come. Although, luck doesn't seem to be on his side recently and the poor man never seems to know rest at all.

Advanced Care Paramedic Yoo Joonghyuk, a veteran who has a talent for 'reviving' patients from the brink of death. Being in the emergency healthcare profession for many years, this man has seen everything and done everything. Virtually nothing could faze this man. Under his care, you're sure to be given a detour to the afterlife. Some say this is due to his godly looks, some say its be of his adept skills and instincts. Who knows, though he has certainly adopted the moniker of 'God's Favourite'.

Emergency Medical Technician Han Sooyoung, fairly new as a paramedic (has about 2-3 years of experience so far) but shows great intuition and efficiency. Although gossip amongst the personnel say the only reason she chose to be a paramedic is to witness the drama that comes with the profession. Despite all that, her quick wit and predictive abilities makes her the perfect partner-in-crime to help aid in saving your buddies from the brink of death.
