a beautiful animation that i made at the request of my friend
the request was “a couple fighting” and then when i said ‘..ok’ she added “with hotdog costumes on” and obviously i then had to get started right away
I need someone to draw a comic of NBC Hannibal and Alastor from Hazbin meeting. I think it would be hilariously funny, especially because I don’t think they would actually like each other’s personalities but would have a level of respect for each other and would probably have the most passive aggressive conversations.
real event
Husk: Tony, I beg of you. Please, PLEASE go to the doctor. Or let me get Charlie.
Angel: Hey, I'm sorry. Did WE get stabbed to fulfill some weirdo’s knife kink?!
yes.
is anyone else scared
even in the darkest timeline.. they are besties
and we love that
hypothetically, what if we invited our spanish study group to our newly bought apartment that we both share and while they’re over there’s a knock at the door and it’s the pizza delivery guy and we can’t decide who should go let him in so we roll a dice and one of the sides makes you leave to get the pizza and it lands us in the darkest timeline and our friends all get traumatized and you lose your larynx from attempting to eat a flaming troll doll but it’s okay because we’re still best friends despite it all and we wear felt goatees together?
😔
true, unfortunately
"ask them out, the worst thing they could do is say no" wrong, the worst thing they could do is get on a boat with actor Levar Burton and get kidnapped by pirates, not to be seen again
all the cool people understand
atp I can just
and you know who it is
i can connect literally any actor to Andrew Rannells
his one job was actually just to serve cunt
and that job was well accomplished
bonus point for being a cutie patootie
Imagine getting impaled in a structurally unsound construction built by satanists with your last words ‘Nerdy prudes must die!’ only to come back covered in glitter, murder the two horniest nerds in your entire school and be seduced by the sole aforementioned nerdy prude.
Max, sweetie, you had one job.
Something that is sad but also that I hugely appreciate about CK is that by the end, most of the systems that harmed the crows are still in place, but their relationships with themselves have grown and changed. I find this particularly interesting in the cases of Jesper and Wylan (shocking I know). Their identities still put them in danger of being exploited or harmed - Grisha indentures are still the norm in Kerch, and the auction scene made it very clear that if the Council knew Wylan's illiteracy was true, they would treat him much the same as his father did due to the culture surrounding productivity and ability. This might seem disheartening, but the hope lies in the shift in how these characters see themselves and their role in the world. By the end of the book, Jesper and Wylan are beginning to put away their internalized shame surrounding their identities. They may still have to hide who they are from the world to survive, but they're no longer hiding it from themselves - their true selves are no longer this crushing burden they have to turn away from to function. A general theme of the series is how, in accepting who they are and what has happened to them on a personal level, the crows place themselves in positions to make change on a systemic level - Inej and her ship, Nina and her mission, Kaz and his Barrel empire, Wylan and Jesper with their political, high-society empire. None of them are all the way there yet by the end - they're still healing, and both the loss of Matthias and the weight of those oppressive systems are going to weigh on them for a long time - but we get to see the very beginnings of that process. I'm going to bite someone.
