My advice to you is that if you wanna do something totally different and reinvent a little part of yourself but you’re afraid people will think you’re trying too hard: just do it anyway.
In high school there was a girl who wore heels every single day and I was so envious. I wanted to wear heels but I was a huge tomboy growing up and no one thought of me as feminine and I was worried people would think I was being “fake,” or trying too hard.
But one day I wore a pair and I got a lot of remarks, not all of them nice. And then I wore another and another until one day a girl said to me “I wish I could wear heels like you and [the girl I envied] but I couldn’t pull it off.”
And I realized I’d become known for wearing heels and it was just a thing I did now and nobody questioned it.
I know this is such a small thing but I have held on to this lesson throughout my young adulthood because it’s proven true again and again with bigger things like my career and my sexuality
When you first step out of the idea of yourself other people have accepted or invented and express a part of you that they don’t know, it’s scary. People like to think they know you you, and challenging their perception of you threatens them.
That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to express who you are.
You’re not fake or trying too hard just because you decide to share a new side of yourself!!!
Has anyone of your characters committed tax evasion?
Yes. Definitely. I would say 4 of my characters, for sure. I’ll list them in order of severity:
Sid [TINR] - Tax evasion by ignorance. Didn’t feel like doing his taxes, forgot about it, and paid the price later. He learned his lesson.
Mason [TPOF] - Lives off the grid. Has never paid taxes in his life. According to the government, he doesn’t exist.
Ren [ BTD2 ] - Commits both tax evasion by not paying his own taxes, and fraudulently files Strade’s taxes [ obviously lying about income sources etc ]
Derek [ TPOF ] - While he’s still ‘under his dad’s thumb’ financially, he has been raised and trained to evade taxes via offshore accounts and bullshit ‘charity contributions’. A classic wall street leech.
anyone else sometimes listen to “prom queen” by beach bunny, as motivation for your ED, even though it’s supposed to be a commentary about how awful it is that society’s expectations for girls cause them to starve and harm themselves,
Food is fuel, nothing else.
You eat to stay alive, not to enjoy it.
The words of a generation
Y'all, I think I found THE SHIT.
So basically, my cousin has always had issues with his weight and he recently bought this tea, right? A month or two later and he's lost so much weight that he's actually underweight now and doesn't even have much of an appetite.
My whole family is joking about how he's a walking ad for that tea, so I'm getting some soon and I will tell y'all if it works and how it works.
The name of the tea is something like yerba mate.

Barry Lee Loukaitis and “Rage”
Barry Loukaitis was 14 years old when he went to school carrying 2 pistols and a high powered rifle and shot his algebra teacher and 2 classmates to death on February 2nd 1996. Out of the crimes came large controversy and speculation as to what motive Loukaitis could have had. The dysfunction of his family, bullying he allegedly experienced at school, and his admitted mood swings were a few that commonly came up. Additionally, Loukaitis’ association with certain films and books were taken into consideration, most notably “Rage” by Stephen King, as Loukaitis referenced the book during his attack quoting “This sure beats the hell out of algebra, doesn’t it?” before shooting. He later admitted that he tried to model his life after the protagonist in the book, who had shot his two teachers and held his algebra class hostage.
