Hannah Gadsby, “Douglas” (Now on Netflix)
The words of a generation
🌼Goals to reach -for me- to be perfect: (To reach before school starts)
Of course reach my goal weight :(which is 43 kg/95 lbs or less)
Have a consistent skincare and nice skin for once (I've always had acne and skin problems)
Have nice nails (better if a bit longer)
Learn at least a new language, two would be awesome but one is okay too
Cut my hair and dye it (It's important that I take care of it and buy masks and treatments)
Have a new piercing!
Buy new clothes
Get better at dancing ughh
Tidy my room and KEEP it that way
Exercise with math since I almost failed class this year (next year I want to have really high grades)
Be nicer and meet new people, that would be awesome since right now I've had a lot of issues with my friends and lost them I guess
Work on projects!!!
Be happy, please
Might add something new~ And if you relate you can add yours too! I really like to see people goals🌼
Bitter, it goes down my throat
The coffee burns
I'm afraid I'm going to bloat
So I heave in turns
My head light as a balloon
Stomach burnt out and empty
I stood up so fast I swoon
Sickly, sweaty
I grab on to anything for support
Hands wrap around uncertainly
My breathing is short
I'm trying to catch it fervently
Catching composure finally
I bring myself to attention
Putting my body in check spitefuly
The releasing of my prehension
Look to the mirror for consolation
This body is a temple of bones
Much to my elation
Comfortable, this is my home
Give me some feedback please ❤
A Multi-Step Guide Written by a Visually Impaired Writer and Blogger
I’m hoping this blog will over time develop its own following, and when it does people will inevitably see my bio and notice what I included: I’m visually impaired.
Yes, a visually impaired writer, and I’ve written with two blind characters before so I have some practice in the field.
So, inevitably, someone is going to ask how to write a blind character.
Or, at least, I hope you’ll ask someone who’s actually blind or visually impaired about writing a blind character before you get too involved with your new WIP.
I started writing this guide two hours ago and it’s gotten away from me. It make it a more manageable read, I’m going to separate it into X many parts, and each part will be linked.
Part One: Crafting the Blind Character

Part Two: Writing the Blind Character, including narrative choice, visual description, verbal description, social interaction

Part Four: What Your Blind Character Needs to Survive and Not Die
[Not written yet, but this is the reserved spot for it]
Part Five: Small Aspects of being Blind You Never Thought Of
